The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

"What's that? What are you planning?"

"Nothing just a little something for you"

"You are scaring"

"You should be, that's how you scare me all the time" she smirks

"Walk with me" He states holding her hand, they walk out, strolling out of the building in silence while their pack members stare at them wondering how Alexandra could do it. Everyone knows what type of man Nathaniel is and despite the rumors, there haven't been rumors about him with a woman. Most people had thought he was celibate and others had thought he didn't want to find his mate while others rumored that his mate was dead and he chose to be single but seeing Alexandra by his side as his mate.

Many of the female pack members drool over them, hoping to be the one standing next to him, wrapping him around their little finger while he protects them from danger for with him is safety.

"She is so special," They thought, staring at them till they were out of sight.

Stepping outside the cold breeze sinks through their body.

"This feels refreshing" Alexandra states

"Thank you" Nathaniel states

"For what?"

"You said our agreement is still in force which means we would be getting married"

"Of course, it is" she looks at him and he gazes back in silence for a long moment. "Why do you still want to marry me despite all these?"

"Because I want to make you mine"

"That's it"

"And you are my true mate. That is something special and irreplaceable"

"You are something" she drops her gaze staring into space.

"How are you holding up?"

"With what?"

"Your new position"

"Been the Alpha?" She asks

"Yea" He nods, aware of the difficulty Alexandra was going to face as the Alpha. She needed to learn a few things while adapting to a new position and learning more about her pack and another pack.

"I haven't been an Alpha for two hours so I wouldn't know but I know that I am happy"

"You deserve it" He scratches his forehead "Listen I might be able to help"

"With what?"

"Everything. Being an Alpha takes a lot and there is a lot to learn and do and I want to help you with that"

"Really?"

"Yes I do want to, will you allow me?"

"Can I think about it?"

"Of course, you can" He moves closer to her, whispering. "You look stunning despite the bruises on your face"noveldrama

"Don't flatter me" she rolls her eyes never getting bored of his flattery

"If I don't do it, who will?"

"No one" she blurts and Nathaniel laughs.

Realizing herself, Alexandra facepalms her head, ashamed for a moment.

"You don't have to be ashamed"

"Who said I am?"

"Your face says a lot"

"Something flew into my eyes" she begins to rub her eyes and Nathaniel laughs aloud.

"Stop laughing at me" she throws him a deadly glare

"Sorry but is funny"

"That's it, I'm going"

"No wait"

"If I just stay, you will continue to laugh at me, and is pissing me off"

"I'm sorry" Nathaniel voiced but Alexandra knew he wasn't sorry and she didn't mind, although she wouldn't dare show him.

"I'm leaving, call me when you're done laughing" She begins walking away and he chases after her catching up to her as she corners into a lonely road.

"Hey wait up"

"For what?"

"Don't be mad at me please, I was only trying to mess with you"

"I know"

"Then why are you leaving?"

Glancing around and seeing no one in sight, a mischievous smile dances on Alexandra's lips and she closes the space between them. "Because I'm tired and need to rest"

"That means you are going home"

"Not really, I just want to go somewhere"

"Where?" He asks, Curiosity evident in his eyes.

"Why are you so inquisitive"

"Only when it comes to you"

She blushes. "You always have the right words"

"Just for you Alexandra"

"Go home"

"I want to spend time with you"

Leaning closer to his ear, she whispers. "Not today but when I have given your

offer a lot of thought"

"You sure do know how to get to me"

"Does it work?"

"All the time"

"Goodbye Nathaniel" she walks away and Nathaniel gawks at her.

"You never fail to amaze me Alexandra" He turns around moving the other way. Taking further steps, Alexandra turns around and sees Nathaniel walking the other way, she laughs and her cheekbones push up.

"Nathaniel Starkov" turning around, she walks away, strolling around the city she couldn't hide the glee on her face any longer.

Her day had started so well with confidence and all but she had gotten scared along the way wondering how she was going to defeat Adam and prove to everyone that she was never weak, at least not anymore and if for anything she deserves to be the Alpha of Guerrero pack. The memory of her defeating Adam floods her mind and she could only thank Nathaniel. Although Alexandra hasn't told Nathaniel why she had embraced him, deep down she was glad she had taken hold of the opportunity and engulfed him. It made her stronger in a manner she couldn't explain, all she knows is that it felt so good and gave her the chance to knock him out, thus humiliating him in front of everyone just as he did to her.

"This is only the beginning Adam," she thinks to herself, clenching her jaw tightly for a moment. Nathaniel's face floods her mind causing her heart to race in a manner she couldn't understand.

"You are mine and mine alone" she mimics him, blushing. "Must he scare me that way" she giggles realizing how handsome he looked as he said those words that would forever linger in her thoughts.

As she takes a walk in the park, Alexandra plops down to her seat staring into space, a lot of emotions through his eyes.

"A penny for your thoughts"

Her eyes widen and she stiffens as the familiar voice echoes in her ear.
