The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

"What did you just say?" He sniffed

"He is a much better man than you can ever be. No are you even a man?"

"You are going to regret this" Adam hastily pulls out a sword from a guard's sabre.

"Pick him up" He ordered and two guards gets Nathaniel to his feet.

Alexandra's eyes widened. "What are you doing?" She attempts to rush towards Adam when a guard restrains her firmly.

"Let me go" Alexandra slapped the guard.

"You better don't let her get away else this knife will drive into your chest" Adam said to the guard.

"Adam No!" Alexandra screamed.

Adam moved to stand behind Nathaniel, while staring into Alexandra's eyes. "You said we have such ill fate"

"I didn't mean that you should kill him"

"I know but this is the only thing you care about" Adam's eyes darkened.

Tears crowd Alexandra's eyes. She saw the look in his eyes and knew what it meant.

"Adam Hawthorn"

"What?" He answered harshly.

"Let him go"

"Why should I save him? Why should I listen to you? Why should I be lenient?".

"He did nothing wrong to you"

"He did enough" Adam admits.

Alexandra didn't know that Adam's hatred for Nathaniel run deeper than she imagined. After Nathaniel had stopped Adam from approaching Alexandra on that Alpha election ceremony day, he has been nursing a deep grudge against him. As a matter of fact, Adam has been seeking for ways to kill Nathaniel and when Olivia visited him.

Adam pounced on the opportunity to break them apart but when Nathaniel had showed up in the prison and saved Alexandra. Adam had decided that he was going to kill him and he was going to prove to Alexandra and every other person that he was better than the infamous Alpha Nathaniel Starkov.

"He didn't do anything" Alexandra shoots sharply. She wasn't going to let him badmouth Nathaniel when truly he was the evil person.

"Still siding with him" Adam lifts up the sharp shinny sword.

Alexandra could feel her heart splitting into two. Looking at the sword, she could see that he had sharpened it. Who knows how long he has been planning for this moment? She thought.

"I had it sharpened and shinned just for him" Adam added.

"No!" Sweat covers Alexandra's face. "Adam please"

"It feels good at last. Out ill fate ends here today"

"Take me!"

"I have plans for you my dear. Nathaniel is just the problem. If he's out of the picture, we will do such wonders together"noveldrama

Alexandra bites her lips holding the urge to beat him up.

"He is not a problem"

"He is. He has been, you just didn't see it"

"Adam!"

Adam giggled. "I love this scene. I'm going to kill him and you are going to watch me do it"

Fear engulfed Alexandra's body. The thought of watching Nathaniel die will forever hunt her. She caused this. This was her doing, if only she didn't start her revenge. If only she didn't infiltrate the Guerrero prison then Nathaniel wouldn't have come. They wouldn't be stuck here for him to be captured. Alexandra cried. She could only blame herself for the misfortune he was about to face.

"Adam please"

"What exactly are pleading for?"

"Don't kill him. Don't kill my Nathaniel" She said without giving it a second thought.

Adam stared at her blankly for a moment. He wasn't sure he heard rightly but he heard it. She claimed him. It was familiar, heard it before from Nathaniel. They claimed each other the way no one else has done. She claimed him the way no one else can claim him.

"You care about him" He chuckled.

"Yes! Yes I care about him a lot Adam so please don't kill him. I'd die if anything if anything is to happen to him"

"Then die" He stated. "Die Alexandra but I will still find a way to wake you up. I will never let you go"

Alexandra pinched herself. She hated that his hatred for her has turned into an obsession.

"Adam please"

"Well this is fun" he smirked.

He wasn't going to listen to her. Alexandra shouldn't be happy, he wasn't going to

let her. Nothing would make him more happy than to see Alexandra miserable and that can only be achieved when her mate is dead.

She will slowly lose her self once Nathaniel is no longer by her side and then he will get what he wanted.

"No it isn't Adam. This is unfair"

"Life is unfair poor Alexandra. You haven't realised that yet?"

"Of course I have but what unfair is you"

"I'm unfair?" He pretends to be hurt

"Yes"

"Well I was born that way" His grin widened. Adam wasn't going to let Nathaniel go, he meant every word he said when he admitted that he was going to kill him.

But she has to stop him, else she will never be the same. She will live the rest of her life hating herself wishing she hadn't met her mate and even worse. She will face the wrath of his pack. Crimson pack will come after her. Everyone will remember her as the girl who killed his mate.

"Say goodbye to your beloved Alpha" Adam lifts up the sword attempting to jab it through Nathaniel's back when Alexandra hastily said.

"I will do it"

Adam halted. He wasn't sure what those words meant. Although something in him gave him a clue what she was about to say.

"I will give it to you" she said the second time as though he hasn't heard her the first time.

"What do you wish to give to me?"

"What you desire more than anything"

Adam takes a step towards her and the guard loosens her grip around her. Adam

came closer and leaned towards her.

"Say it" He whispered

"I will give you the Alpha position"
