The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

Nathaniel eyes turned red, boiling with rage. He wasn't going to let anyone get close to Alexandra. Although he didn't want to kill the guards any longer. He had no choice since their loyalty was with Adam and they wouldn't back down until Adam tells them to.

"Get her!" Adam screamed a lot louder as though they had not heard him the first time.

The guards begins to move towards Alexandra and Nathaniel.

"I don't to hurt any of you" Nathaniel admits and Alexandra admired him. He was truly his mate.

This fight was between Adam and them and killing innocent guards whose crime was having Adam as their Alpha just didn't feel right.

Alexandra arched up her brow pondering over his words. It meant a lot yet she couldn't figure it out. Not when the guards were close to them.

"Worry about staying alive Nathaniel"

"I can stay alive" Nathaniel assured. "I gave you a preview already, didn't you see it?"

"I did see it" Adam grinned. He was aware he was implying about those guards he slayed at the prison.

"I warned them but the choose the wrong way and look how it ended" Nathaniel tsk.

"You're proud"

"I conquered before and I will again"

"Let's see then" Adam challenged.

"How many survived?"

"Just three" Adam smirked. Nathaniel was been very arrogant but that was all he was going to be.

"How many should I keep alive?" Nathaniel asked.

"Shouldn't you worry about keeping yourself alive first?" Adam asked the obvious.

"Worry about your guards" Nathaniel glances at Alexandra "Step back"

Alexandra held his hand tightly, she could sense something odd. Adam was always arrogant when he had cooked up a plan and was planning something Wicked and Alexandra just wished she could read mind then maybe she could tell what was in his mind.

Averting her eyes towards Adam, he smirked at her triumphantly. In that moment, Nathaniel hoped their was a way to stop this fight then she would do it but there wasn't because in Adam's heart, he has already made up his mind.

"Step away" Nathaniel said to her again. She stared into his eyes and he stared back softly. "I will be fine"

Alexandra smiled as his words assured him for a little while but then she couldn't just shake the feeling off.

"I know you will be fine"

"Alright now step away"

"Get her!" Adam screamed and a guard quickly rushed towards them but Nathaniel stopped him with a hard punch to his face. The gravity pushing him back sending him flying in the air and falling on the ground.

"Step away" He states a loud and Alexandra quickly stepped backward.

Adam was playing dirty not that he hasn't been play dirty in the past but this was vicious. Nothing that she had seen before.

Alexandra was lost deep in her thoughts that she didn't know Nathaniel was already fighting with the guards. Half way down, they guards had surrounded him and hitting him but Nathaniel was fighting them back, throwing them away as though they were a log of wood.

But they were too much and he was getting weak. Feeling a lot strange, Nathaniel was still fighting, panting heavily, he couldn't fathom what was happening to him. This is nothing like he has felt but he couldn't give up. It meant leaving Alexandra in the hands of Adam and he could only imagine what he will do to her.

As a guard falls close to her feet whimpering, Alexandra snaps back to reality. Her heart jumped at the sight of Nathaniel staggering back as a guards flung a rod against his head.

Alexandra gasped, she could tell Nathaniel was loosing his strength but why?

He was stronger than her and Adam, she saw the damage he did to the guards back at the prison. They were so many and yet he slayed them at a go without feeling like he weak. But now he was weak and Alexandra could tell that Adam had a lot to do with it.

The smirk on his face sold him out. It held the gesture "I told you so". Locking eyes with him, Alexandra glared at him and he smirked back at her.

"Get her!" Adam screamed at one of his guard. He tilts his head.

As the guard rushed towards Alexandra, Nathaniel managed to grab hold of him.

"Let her go" Nathaniel growled at quickly jabs his claws Into the guards stomach. He screamed, falling to the ground. Nathaniel stomped on him, wincing as the other guards behind him strikes him with their heavy weapon.

Nathaniel clenches his jaw, the pain ripping his body apart in a manner he couldn't tell. He couldn't decipher what was happening to him, his hand were now numb and his feet were shaking, not able to keep up Nathaniel falls to the ground.

"Stop" Adam said and the guards halt.

They were not satisfied, they wanted to do a lot damage to Nathaniel. It was the most feared Alpha they had trapped and so they wouldn't pass off the chance to inflict a little more on his body.

"Raise him up"

They guards quickly brought Nathaniel to his feet and Adam bolted towards him. "I told you, you should worry about saving your self right?"

Nathaniel who was now bleeding from all over his body spat to his face, glaring at Adam.

Adam scoffed, the bravery of him to act in such manner. Well he wasn't surprised since Alexandra was his mate and had done this to me.

"Go to hell" Nathaniel said.

Adam stands up, smiling, moves back a little before striking a hard slap against Nathaniel's face and he falls to the ground.

"This is the end for you Nathaniel Starkov" He smiles sinisterly creeping Alexandra out.
