The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

"Surprise!" He exclaimed with a crazy looking grin.

Alexandra and Nathaniel stared at him, startled. They could believe he caught unto them. Adam was a sick man who couldn't let the sun go down without setting out to hunt them down.

"Did you miss me?"

Alexandra furrowed and got up with Nathaniel.

"It hasn't been up to twenty-four hours, don't tell me you already got rid of me"

"You filth" Alexandra glared at him. Nathaniel holds her hand sensing her urge to control her anger. But the motion did little to stop her from attacking him thereby risking her own life.

"Please don't say that" Adam feigns to be embittered by her words.

"Shut your mouth"

"Make me" Adam arched up his brow at her, challenging to dare attack him.

Sensing what he was doing Alexandra clenches her jaw, Adam was pushing her to the wall and she could do little. If only the guards were out of the picture then Alexandra wouldn't stop herself from making him pay for what he did to her In the past and present.

"You can't Alexandra" He chuckled

"Yes I can't and so what?"

"Nothing my love"

"I am not your love" Alexandra retorts.

"Come on Alexandra, you don't have to pretend"

"You're sick"

"Really? Are you going to do this because of him?" Adam asked cunningly.

Seeing them together, he couldn't help playing a wicked game. He knew what kind of Nathaniel was and so he wanted to drive him to the edge.

"You are foolish"

"Really?" He squared his chin stubbornly clearly showing her that he wasn't going to give up. "Was that what you said a while ago"

Alexandra furrowed realising his game, she glanced at her hands locked together with Nathaniel's.

"You begged me awhile ago to touch you Alexandra"

Alexandra was furious but her anger was nothing compared to Nathaniel. He was livid, his only desire was to rip his head out that way he would be purged from the surface of the earth permanently.

"You are out of your mind"

"You shouldn't believe her Nathaniel, she said those words"

Nathaniel clenches his jaw, the bravery of him to address him by his name.

As if sensing what shot through Nathaniel mind, Adam admits. "Oh right, I just called you Nathaniel. What are you going to do now?" Adam arched up his brow at him, daring him to make a move at him while his guards were him then he wouldn't spear him.

Not as if he was intending to spare him but he wanted to first have his time before finally ending all of this.

"What are you going to do?" Adam pressed harder.

"Will you shut the hell up Adam?"

"Ouch!" He palms his chest as if pained. "You hurt me Alexandra. How can you do this to me?"

Alexandra scoffed. She could tell what he trying to do. Although a part of her, senses that he came for war, yet she didn't know why he wouldn't get on with it. As long as Nathaniel was by her side, nothing scared her, especially death.

If today was going to be her last, she hoped it was the same for Nathaniel. That way they could find their way back to each other when they get to the other side. "Hurt you? You deserve to be hurt every single day that you wake up" "Why is that?"

"You already know how much I hate you. No. I detest you so drop it because your petty moves won't work again"

Adam furrowed his brow and then laughed. How could she figure it out all the time. First she revealed to him something he wasn't aware and now she read through his lines. Is as if she saw right through him.

"So it won't work"

"Yes it won't" Nathaniel who choose to stay quiet all this while spoke up.

Adam chuckled. "So you finally grew a tongue"

"He always had a tongue" Alexandra fires back. "If someone as despicable as you who don't deserve to have one has it, what about him then?"

"Your words are like stabs"

"I hope it drives deeper to the point that you bleed to death" She said. Her eyes holding a strong emotion. The kind that could kill him once she get the chance.

"Wow your eyes!" Adam smirked. "It doesn't fit you"

"You underestimate me"

"No Alexandra I don't. I did at one point but now I won't ever underestimate you. I know what you are capable of"

"Really?" She smirked. "Is good you know that way you would know how much I "want to kill you"

"That's hurts because I want to keep you safe" He tsked. "I'm hurt"

"Shut your mouth, I never asked you to keep me safe"

"Of course since you had a plan. A plan to sneak into my jail with him. You knew he was going to break you out"noveldrama

Alexandra smiled inwardly. Even she didn't believed Nathaniel would come for her since they fought that day but then he came through and took her before Olivia could torture her to death like she was intending to.

"I planned to save you"

"You handed me over to Olivia!" Alexandra yells as though he has lost his memory and she could only make those memories come back by screaming.

"Did I?" He grinned wickedly as the memory shot through his mind. "I did right?"

"You idiot of course you did"

"Well you gave me no choice"

"You don't deserve choices"

"I don't and you don't deserve anything either too" His eyes darkened. "You played me Alexandra and I can't forgive you for that"

Alexandra glared at him, she knew perfectly well what he was implying. How dare

he imply such outrageous thing as though they had strike a deal and she double crossed him.

"You are insane, you fool!"

"Yea I am but be ready because I am going to show you what exactly madness is" He admits and turned to the guards'. "Get her"
