The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

With those deadly eyes staring at her. Alexandra was creeped out. Adam was evil but this was different, his eyes tells it all and she didn't doubt that he had done something to Nathaniel. But what was it? What did he do to Nathaniel? What did he do to bring him to his knees.

Alexandra had a lot of questions running through her mind and she pushed it off. She needed to save him before he purged him and then Adam would come after her and she cannot protect herself. Not when he came with a troop.

The only one who could protect her has fallen. Her Alpha has fallen. Nathaniel has fallen and Alexandra still couldn't fathom how it happened. One minute he was up and ready to fight Adam and his troops. He was ready to die fighting and the next minute. He was weak and lying on the ground lifeless.

He was different, something she has never seen before. Something she had thought was just a tale she read in book but now it was real and happening to her Nathaniel.

The only Alpha who was stronger than her and Adam. The man whose strength was immeasurable in the entire region. The one who would have slayed Adams troops. Although he would be injured but injuries were nothing since he can heal.

But now he wasn't healing. No, Alexandra saw it clearly, he was healing but it seemed as though he wasn't for it was a slow process.

"What do you have to say now Alexandra?" Adam asked as though he read her mind.

"I...I..." Alexandra was speechless. She had the words to say. She knew it in the back of her mind yet it couldn't come out. The words were trapped somewhere in her lungs and she couldn't push it.

"What's that? Can't talk?" Adam chuckled. "I never thought I will get to see this day"

Alexandra frowned, she was still dazed but a part of her could still hear Adam clearly.

"He has fallen. The king of Crimson clan has fallen and now is time for his queen to fall by his side. That way I will have the pleasure of ending the both of you myself"

"Coward" Alexandra admits as she snapped back to reality.

"What's that?"

"You are a coward"

Adam scowled at her. She had already lost yet she was still arrogant. He had expected for her to fall on her knees, begging for mercy yet she was raising her shoulders high. Typical Alexandra.

"Is that the best you can do?"

"I should be asking you that"

Adam arched his brow at her. He wasn't sure what she was talking about. "What are you talking about?"

"You know perfectly well what I'm talking about"

"I don't"

"What did you do to him?" Alexandra asked.

She may not be sure what exactly he did but she had her suspicion and knowing Adam he was capable of anything just to get what he wants and Alexandra has what he wanted.

"Is that how you want to describe his defeat?"noveldrama

"Defeat? You didn't defeat him because you cheated! You did something to him and I will like to know what" She squared her chin stubbornly, pressing harder.

She knew it in her gut feeling that he did something to Nathaniel and she wanted to get to the bottom of it that way she can save him before Adam does more harm to him.

"Face it Alexandra, your Nathaniel isn't so strong. He isn't a tough boy"

"Shut your trap" Alexandra was furious. "You know that you cannot be compared to you, Nathaniel is a strong Alpha and is not debatable"

"What?"

"Even you can't defeat him in a million years"

Adam glared at her, his eyes turns red and he quickly kicked Nathaniel who was lying on the ground covered in blood. Nathaniel spits out blood causing Alexandra to scream, she attempts to rush over to Nathaniel when two guards intercept her. They restrains her while she wriggled to break away.

"Let him go"

"Really?"

"Let him go now, you bastard!" Alexandra said aloud.

Her heart aches as Adam kicked Nathaniel on the stomach for a little longer, screaming frustratingly. Adam runs his hand through his now messy hair.

He was looking like a beast, something Alexandra hasn't seen before. It may have been what she said, she didn't know but what ever it was, it sure riled him up.

"Is this the man you said can defeat me?" His breathes heavily.

"You are crazy" Alexandra whispered, not sure what else to say to him. He was crazy and so what's the look in his eyes. It was scary.

"Really?"

"Yes Adam you are insane. So damn crazy, haven't anyone said that to you. You obviously shouldn't be allowed to lead a pack" Alexandra stated without thinking clearly and that got Adam moving towards her faster than expected and grabbed her.

"Say that again"

"You are crazy"

He hastily slams her against the wall. "Say it again"

"You are crazy and shouldn't be allowed to lead a pack"

Adam gripped his hand around her neck. "How dare you!" he seethes "You got some nerve"

"Yes I do and so do you" Alexandra pushed him back but he doesn't hesitate to grab her arm and slam her back against the wall.

Alexandra glared, she hated to be close to him especially now her mate was down and her wolf was nowhere near her.

"Alexandra Guerrero. Who would have thought you will get out of your hole someday, but this is where you are mistaken because you end here"

Adam lifts up his hand attempting to scratch her face with his claws when Nathaniel holds her hand.
