The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

"So you all believe the words of Adam Hawthorn?"

"Yes, Alpha Nathaniel," The pack says and Nathaniel nods affirmatively.

"We don't agree with Alexandra" A werewolf adds.

Although Nathaniel was the Alpha, his position was already coveted by his pack so he couldn't do a thing about it.

Of course, he could subject them to stand by him but it was his world against

theirs since no single werewolfves believed Alexandra.

"So you have all made your decision"

"Yes Alpha and you should make yours as well"

"My decision?"

"Yes Alpha"

"Alexandra is my mate"

"Are you going to help that woman?" A Gamma asked

"Yes I am"

As soon as the words roll out of Nathaniel's mouth, the pack begins to whisper. They couldn't believe Nathaniel would still have thoughts of helping Alexandra, they had thought he was going to back down.

"Are you going to help her?" Another asked

"Yes I am going to help her"

Bewildered, the pack gawks at him like he just grew two heads. Going up against Adam and Olivia without the help of your pack was suicide, he would never make it out alive.

Nathaniel was a strong Alpha they knew this but they know that he was never going to beat the guards and everyone alone. Going over to Adam just to help Alexandra would only piss Adam off and he wouldn't hesitate to fight back.

Since Adam had said that Alexandra came from a dirty bloodline, they thought it was best for Nathaniel to leave her and find another mate. A suitable one who would be able to carry on the pack image while leading them.

"You cannot help Alexandra"

"Why is that?"

"That woman is doomed"

"She's not fit to be your mate"

Nathaniel chuckled. "She isn't? Who is then? I will like to see who"

He glances around the room looking at the pretty werewolves in the room, they were beautiful but some have found their mate. Nathaniel drops his gaze, the women were nothing like Alexandra. They would never be able to make him special.

"They are here," The werewolf says roaming their eyes around searching for the right words. They were the kind who never failed to push their daughters towards Nathaniel but he would glare at them, shutting his doors to all members except his Beta and guards.

"Where?" Nathaniel gawks into his eyes "I don't see anyone"

"What am saying is Alpha Nathaniel that you shouldn't limit yourself to just one mate"

Nathaniel scoffs. "Are you saying I should take someone else mate"

"What?"

"Are you suggesting that your Alpha steal another person's mate"

"Of course not Alpha"

"Then what are you suggesting?"

"What am saying is that she is not capable of leading this pack with you"

"Who is then? Which woman can I take as my mate besides Alexandra Guerrero"

"There are werewolves whose mates are dead and they are stronger than Alexandra"

"You think Alexandra is weak"

"Yes, Alpha she is and therefore cannot lead this pack with you.

"And what If I want her to?"

The pack members glances at each other, they couldn't fathom why he was still adamant about making her his mate despite having heard the story.

"You must have heard the rumor Alpha, are you okay with what she did"

"You called it rumor but I call it gossip. You don't know her as I do"

"You are right Alpha, Forgive me"

"You all don't know Alpha Alexandra Guerrero, she's a strong werewolf"

"We have heard how she won against Adam Hawthorn"

"You heard correctly"

"But that doesn't rule out that she may have won due to Adam's influence, they are meeting together so he could have let her win"

Nathaniel scoffs, he didn't think they would dare think that way, it was obvious Adam was doing this to get back at Alexandra and avenge her for playing him during the ceremony.

This was his cruel payback but the pack members don't know this, what they saw was just what they believed and Adam made sure everyone would buy his story.

Nathaniel paces back and forward. "If he let her win, why come out to start a ridiculous rumor?"

"Alexandra must have hurt him and Adam must have seen right through her. She's the kind of woman who set the place apart just because she's beautiful" The pack member said

The pack nods affirmatively, although most of them haven't seen Alexandra they had spoken as though they had seen and interacted with her.

"Here in crimson clan Alpha Nathaniel, we appreciate you as our leader because you are strong and there is no one like you but Alexandra isn't strong. You shouldn't waste your time on her"

"Why is that?"

"Because she is already a failed cause, we do not allow weaklings into this clan" "Yes, we don't!" An Omega members chime in.

Blinded by Adam's words, they would never help Alexandra nor would they want Nathaniel to help her either. Even though some of the pack members had admired Alexandra when they first knew she was Nathaniel's mate, they had begun to hate her the moment the rumors reached their ears.

Watching them closely Nathaniel doesn't need to be told that he was all alone and that no one was going to help Alexandra except him. He would have to do it himself but first, he needed to figure out a way to get past the guards who would stand with Olivia and Adam Hawthorn.

"Hang on Alexandra, I will come to you"

"I will never leave you to die by their hands nor will I abandon you"

"I know you can hear me even though we are far away," He thinks to himself, without saying another word turns around and walks out leaving the pack to battle with their thoughts.

They made their choice and so has he so there was no need to stay at the pack house when Alexandra needed his help.
