The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

Staring intently at the pack, Nathaniel didn't need to be told that his clan had believed the rumors just like he had when he first heard them.

Running his hand through his face, he could only blame himself for not getting her to his pack kearlier. That way she would get to meet with his clan and a lot of werewolves would befriended her and stand by her side in times like this.

But Alexandra had come in the way of his plans and he had not brought it up anymore so as not to piss her off.

"You don't know her!" Nathaniel yells and they quiet down.

The crimson pack looked at Nathaniel whose face was void of any emotion, he didn't care about their opinion, what he wanted was just to help Alexandra and he was going to do it no matter the price he would have to pay.

"You heard the rumors and every single one of you has something to say but if I keep listening to everyone here then we wouldn't help Alexandra"

"We?" A werewolf leaning against the wall asked, holding the urge to chuckle. Nathaniel was the kind of Alpha who listened to his member's thoughts but would never take a disrespectful attitude from anybody.

He wouldn't hesitate to unleash hell upon the werewolves who disrespect him, it was a sign of revolt and Nathaniel would never want to be weak else his pack would challenge his rule.

"Yes"

"Forgive me Alpha Nathaniel but we never agreed to help this woman"

"Yes, we never did!" Another werewolf states.

Glancing toward the man that just spoke, Alexandra states. "Let him speak" "Sorry Alpha"

"You don't have to apologize just keep silence until he airs his view"

Nathaniel's voice blares across the room accompanied by a long silence, they pack glances at each other. They had not seen any Alpha like him within the region and across, he was one of a kind, no wonder many won hoped for their daughters to be his mate but all hope was gone when Nathaniel found Alexandra and claimed her.

"Continue"

The werewolf clears his throat. "We never agreed to help you and this woman"

"Her name is Alexandra Guerrero and she is my mate, show your respect when addressing her"

"Forgive me, Alpha Nathaniel"

"Continue"

"As I said, we never agreed to a war against Guerrero pack"

"Is not a war"

"If you don't mind me asking, What is it then Alpha? You just said you wanted our help"

"I did but I never said we wage war against Guerrero pack"

"Forgive me Alpha but what do you need"

"Simply help Alexandra"

"By starting a war"

"We are not starting a war with Guerrero pack. We have no business with the

pack, our only goal is to save my mate. Help my mate accomplish whatever she seeks to"

"Who do we fight then?"

"Anyone she fights, mostly Adam Hawthorn"

"Adam Hawthorn of the Guerrero pack"

"Yes"

"We all know Adam Hawthorn is a man of noble birth. He has gained more popularity across the region ever since he exposed Alexandra Guerrero"

"His popularity doesn't define his strength"

"Alexandra doesn't need our help"

"She's in danger and needs our help, I can feel it"

"Alpha Nathaniel, Alexandra Guerrero has dirty blood running through her body.

She cheated on you"

"Those are just rumors"

"Rumours are true"

"You believe the words of Adam Hawthorn"

"Adam Hawthorn is a man of honor, I've fought alongside him in the past"

"Forgive me Alpha but we cannot stand with you on this. That woman doesn't belong to you"

Nathaniel glares at him and he bows his head apologetically.

"We? You speak for the others"

"No Alpha"

Averting his gaze towards the other werewolves who had been watching them silently.

"Do you agree with him?"

"Yes!" They yells

Nathaniel smiles unfazed, although when he had planned for this meeting didn't think his pack wasn't going to stand with him. He had thought they would stand by him like they often did but instead they choose to believe the words of Adam Hawthorn.

Looking at them in silence for a long moment, Nathaniel wondered how Adam had executed his plans meticulously without hitches.

When Alexandra told him the story, Nathaniel did not doubt that Adam and Alexandra's family were the villain in her story since he had seen how the Guerrero treated Alexandra. As the memory of Veronica flooded his mind, he remembered how she had attempted to kill Alexandra causing fear to engulf his body for a moment.

"If Veronica could do that to her, I wonder what Olivia is capable of," He thinks to himself

The day he had met Olivia, Nathaniel hadn't taken her as the sort of woman with guts but seeing what happened to Alexandra when he saved her in the woods and listening to Alexandra's story. Nathaniel could tell she was capable of anything.

Since she was in this together with Adam and Bernard, Nathaniel vows to never view her as a woman anymore, when they met, he would do to her the same thing he wishes to do Adam Hawthorn if she ever gets in his way or tries to hurt Alexandra.

"If you touch a single hair on her head, I swear I will hunt you down Olivia together with your Father and give you something worse than death that you would not forget for the rest of your lives." He mutters under his breath while the pack gawked at him wondering what was running through his mind.

They know the kind of man he was, Nathaniel wasn't one of those Alpha who compels his pack to a fight, that was his uniqueness and the reason his popularity within the region was immeasurable.
