My Lord, My Billionaire Master

Chapter 893

A row of cars stopped in front of the graveyard. Alice walked down with her head lowered, and a few Photo Frame in her hands. William walked down from the other side with a bunch of flowers. He looked at the entrance of the graveyard emotionless.

Even the wind in the cemetery was solemn and forlorn.

Alice walked inside. The bodyguard took the lead and ran inside, kicking all the branches to the side and clearing a path.

"202."

A bodyguard reminded Alice.

"Thank you."

Alice nodded and looked at the number plate. She easily found the tombstone that belonged to Mary. Mary was smiling from the photo on the tombstone.

A smile that she hadn't seen for a long time.

"Mary, I'm here to see you."

Alice looked at Mary's photo and smiled. She was about to place the Photo Frame in front of the tombstone, but she was surprised to see a bunch of flowers was already there.

The flower seemed to have been blooming for several days. Its petals were already somewhat withered, and it even had traces of being hit by the rain.

Alice was stunned, "How can there be flowers?"

William stood by her side, lowered his eyes and swept across, then said indifferently, "Someone has paid her a visit."

"But no one knew that the Mary's monolith is here." Alice said in surprise, "There's no way someone would come to visit her. Could it be bowed from other monuments by wind?"

William looked at her, then slowly bent down and picked up a square flat rock from the flower bundle. "Sorry, your guess was wrong."

In order to prevent the flowers from being blown away, the people who came to pay their respects even pressed a stone down, leaving marks behind.

Alice stood there in a daze, lowered her eyes and looked at the bunch of flowers, "Who could have come? Adoptive parents? Patrick?

Did they come back?

Had the adoptive parents already heard the news of Mary's death? Or did Patrick come back?

"I don't know."

William's gaze turned a little colder.

Patrick is back?

She frowned and looked at the difference between this tombstone and the other tombstones. It was clear that this tombstone had only been cleaned recently, that it did not have a single bit of moss on it.

Who could it be?

It was definitely could not be the relatives of the Clyne family. As the news of Mary's death had not been made public, so obviously it couldn't be a fan.

Adoptive parents? Hadn't heard from them for a long time. But if they came back, they would probably stay at the old house.

There was only one possibility left.

Patrick.

He's back.

He came back and at least meant he was safe.

Alice thought, and turned to look at William, only to see him coldly staring at the tombstone. He pursed his lips. And after a moment, he raised his hands.

A bodyguard immediately came forward, "What can I do for you, Mr. Cullen?"

"Go and find out if Patrick is back."

William said coldly.

"Yes, Mr. Cullen."

The bodyguard withdrew.

Looking at his grave and stern face, Alice couldn't help but say, "There's no need

to investigate. It's his freedom whether he comes back or not."

"What? Afraid that I'll kick his ass?"

William scoffed, his tone was as sour as it could get.

"If you wanted to kick him, you would have already done." Alice understood William too well. She turned and looked at him, teasing him, "Are you afraid that he will come find me?"noveldrama

William who was exposed stared at her coldly: "Am I such an unconfident person to you?"

Who did she think he is?

And who cared about Miller? How funny.

Alice laughed, and shrugged her shoulders, as if she was saying whatever you say.

"Alice!"

William glared at her angrily.

Alice didn't reply to his words. Instead, she turned and looked at the tombstone in front of her, smiled, and asked gently, "Mary, did Patrick come back? Then you must be very happy."

Looking her talking to that dead person, William frowned. He stared at that bunch of flowers feeling weird.

"I haven't told our parents about you, and I haven't gone to look for them either. I think it's better if they don't know about you, right? At the very least, they will still think that you are alive, then they will be able to live happier. "Alice said softly, then said, "I've gone back to visit the old house. There was nothing left. However, I can still find the memories of our childhood."

She remembered that when she was young, she had climbed down from upstairs while holding the vine. Mary had also climbed down after taking the vine along with her but smashed into the ground a little.

Back then, they were still young and naive. They didn't understand the favoritism of adults. Actually, they had some happy times.

"That old vine is still here, but you won't be able to climb any further. If you continue climbing, you will definitely fall."

Alice said as she looked at Mary's photo. Mary's sweet smile was her best response.

A gust of wind blew past, bringing with it the warmth of the sun.

"Let's go."

William said coldly, and tried hard to resist the urge to kick the flower to the side.

Alice nodded. She used a tissue to wipe the picture on the tombstone, and after wiping it clean, she turned around and followed William. She held his hand. The group of people slowly walked out of the cemetery.

Along the way back, Alice once again brought William to stroll around a few places that she had hang out before, "At that time, I always took this road after school, and now that they have it repaired. It was paved with stone. When it was raining, it would be full of potholes, and we would have to step on mud."

"You had to walk to home?"

William confused.

"Our family wasn't the almighty Cullen. How can we possibly just walk in and out with limo?" Alice said.

The cement road was not wide. On both sides were tall trees. Their branches and leaves covered the sky. The sunlight fell through the gaps between the leaves, shining on the road. From far away, the entire road looked like a long channel.

Alice walked by the side of the road slowly and leisurely while holding William's arm. He glanced down at her and said, "Then you should have come to find me earlier. My family's servants have better lives than you."

"If I look for you earlier, will you treat me well?" Alice asked.

"Why not?" William stared at her extremely seriously, "If I didn't treat you well, then what would I do?"

Alice looked into his eyes. There was a bit of light landed on his brows, so he looked extremely charming.

She stared at him for a long time before she recovered. She held his arm and continued walking. Suddenly, she laughed out loud.

"What are you laughing at?"

William asked.

"I just can't imagine what it would be if we had lived together as children." Alice laughed and said, "It must be a disaster."

He was so easy to get angry. And when she was little, she wasn't as quiet as she was now. If they were together, they must be fighting every day.

The roof would be torn off by them.

"That's not true!" William glared at her. "If we had lived together since childhood,

you wouldn't even have taken your eyes onto the Miller!"

How arrogant!

Alice smiled and did not speak.

"What are you laughing at now?" William suddenly turned her body, "Do you want

to say that was your task when you were a girl, right? Why do you have such poor taste when you were a child? Like you never met man before."

Another personal attack?

"As I met Mr. Cullen I finally seen the world, and had my eyes wide open!"

Alice stood in front of William and said seriously.

"Are you praising me?"

William frowned.

No matter how he felt it, it didn't seem like one.

A car drove past her quickly, and as a gust of wind blew past. William's clothes flapped in the wind, causing his clothes to curve to open up an embrace for her. Alice lowered her gaze and looked at the corner of his clothes that was lifted up, then pulled him to turn around and continued to walk, "Alright, alright. It's useless to say this nonsense. It's impossible to go back to youth."

William followed her silently, raising his eyes and looking into the distance.

It was a very long road, as if it would never end.

"There used to be a small shop over there, but now there's only a pile of wood

left." Alice said as she pointed to a spot, and continued to introduce her childhood.

"Just tell me how did you take care of Patrick?"

William's faint voice came from above her head.

Alice gave him her respect. How many roads had they gone through, he still hadn't forgotten about it.

It wasn't that she didn't want to say it, but she was afraid that he would have thought too much and then became jealous.

All the way back to the old house, William was still entangled with her on this question. Alice did not want to lie, so she could only stammer out and tell him the part that he could accept. But William obviously did not believe it. There was nothing she could do.

The two of them sat at the entrance of the old house and chatted while basking in

the sun. If you ignored the godly bodyguards outside the door, they were like an ordinary retired couple.

When the sun was about to set, Alice was finally unable to bear William's question attack. Without waiting for the sun to set, she said, "I'm going to go make dinner."

She ran into the kitchen.

William and she were completely not here for the same reason. To her, this was a

place to grow up in. To William, this could only be considered as one place: the location of a love rival!

Alice shook her head and then began to busy herself in front of the kitchen flatform. When Mr. Palace came in to help, she said, "Mr. Palace, let us hear some of the latest international news."

"Yes, Master."

The search for the Mr. Palace was extremely fast. The electronic voice soon rang

out and was broadcasted to her bit by bit.

In the news, Alice had heard quite a bit of news about Lancaster. Although it

seemed to be news about Lancaster being extending, it was sufficient to prove that Lancaster had done a lot.

This family had always kept a low profile. But recently, even she could feel that

Lancaster was appearing more and more frequently to the media. And they never stopped casting scandals about William.

William could not make any mistake. Otherwise Lancaster would surely take advantage of it.
