Chapter 894
When she thought about Lancaster, Alice felt a headache. Thinking about the things that William had been insisting on along the way, she could not help but say, "Eric, I'm really worried about William."
"Mr. Cullen is safe and healthy."
Eric stopped broadcasting news and comforted her.
"It's not like that."
Alice sighed softly.
"Master, what are you worried about?"
Alice cut the tomato in her hand and placed it on a plate, "I'm worried that he is just pretending to be fine in front of me. He looks like that he got everything under control. But I'm afraid that's not true, he may just don't want to make me worry about him."
Back to the old house, William just focused on talking things in the past with her. It seemed as if he did not take Lancaster into account, but perhaps, he only hid it in his heart and did not want to reveal his worry to her.
If so, she was really worried.
She didn't know how to deal with it or how to help William.
"There is nothing Mr. Cullen can't do," Eric said, recognizing Alice's emotions by scanning her face.
Alice laughed bitterly and looked at Eric, "Previously, I thought that it was not a good thing for you to have your own consciousness, but now I hope you will be like that. You are better than me, maybe you can help William."
"Master, you just overestimate me, and please don't worry."
Eric lowered his head and continued to help Alice handle raw ingredients.
Alice didn't say anything and just cooked. But she kept considering one thing, how could she help William?
After cooking five dishes and two soups, Alice and Eric took them out to place on the table. When they walked out, they saw some bodyguards pushing a clothes rack in.
On the clothes rack there were many clothes, dresses, and school uniforms. The school uniform looked familiar to Alice. Well, wasn't that her junior high school uniform? It was made in the form of sportswear. But the school uniform on the hanger was a lot bigger.
"What is this?"
Alice asked, puzzled.
"Mr. Cullen told us to prepare these. They were just shipped here from the clothing store."
The bodyguards bowed their heads to Alice and turned to leave.
Alice touched the green and white uniform in surprise, then turned to look for William. William walked out of Patrick's room, he glanced at the clothes rack and said, "Eat."
"What's going on?"
Alice pointed to the school uniform and asked.
William looked at the uniform, "Your school uniform is really ugly."
"That's not what I'm asking." Alice was speechless. She pointed to the clothes, "Why do these clothes just look like what I wore when I was Child? Why did you make those larger school uniforms? What do you want to do?"
The more Alice looked at the clothes, the more familiar she felt.
"I took all the clothes in your closet and ask people to make the bigger size one based on them. The clothes were available now. It's fast, good." William said casually, and glanced at the clothes again, "But they are too out of style."
It's been a long time. Of course they would be out of style.
She looked at him. "What on earth do you want to do?"
William walked to the dining table, took off his coat, and placed it on the back of his chair. Lazily sitting down, he reached out and untied the cuff buckle s on his shirt, then looked at her with his black eyes. He touched his chin with his finger, saying word by word, "I just want to tell you, you can come back to whatever time you want, including the childhood."
Such an arrogant tone.
Alice was surprised. Looking at the enlarged clothes, she suddenly understood. So just because of what she said to him on the way back, William did what he did now, hoping to help her go back to her childhood, and be the Alice in that time?
However, even if she could go back, other people couldn't. That was nonsense! As if knowing what she was thinking, William's voice sounded out, "However, this time, I'm the only one who can spend childhood with you. There was no Patrick!"
Alice looked at him speechlessly. How could he have the time to think about such things? Wasn't Lancaster enough to trouble him? How could he still want to help her go back to childhood?
But if this would please him, she was willing to cooperate.
Thinking like that, Alice walked towards him, and sat on his left side, "Then what role do you play?"
"A foster child."
William had already found a good role for himself.
"What? Are you going to play Patrick?"
Alice asked in astonishment.
"Who wants to act that blind man!" William glared at her in displeasure, his expression turning gloomy fast. "I'm the foster child William. You have to take care of me too."
"I already took care of you for your three meals."
She was already like a cook. Wasn't that enough?
"You have to take care of me like taking care of Patrick! Understand?" William arrogantly said. He turned to Eric at the side, "Take all of these dishes away and keep them hot. I'll ask you to bring them later."
"Alright, Mr. Cullen."
Eric did as he was told.
"Why? Don't you want to eat first?" Alice looked at him blankly. William pointed to the clothes on the clothes rack, "Go and wear your school uniform."
"Changing clothes again?"
Alice pursed her lips. Last time she dressed as a secretary, and now she had to be a junior high student. Wasn't she too far from a student for her age? Anyone who didn't know would think she was mad.
"Don't you want to go back to your childhood?" William glanced at her, displeasure gathering in his eyes. "So what? Patrick can see you wearing that, while I can't?"
"That's because people all dressed like that at that time, not because Patrick, and Patrick couldn't see things OK?"
Anyway, Patrick was still blind back at that time.
"So?"
William looked at her. Were her childhood memories so precious that she refused to show him?
Alice saw that William seemed to be serious, so she stood up, "So I'll go to change my clothes."
"Good."
William nodded in satisfaction.
Alice put on her school uniform. The school uniform was made extremely loose, to the point that her pregnant belly wouldn't be sensed. The green and white school uniform was embroidered on the chest with the name of her high school.
For a moment, Alice really felt like she had come back to the past.
She pulled out her long hair from her collar and walked out. William was standing
in front of the table, holding a comb in his hand. On the table, there was a makeup mirror, rubber band, hair band, and so on.
Seeing her come out, William looked at her from head to toe, then hooked his hand "It's not enough, come and sit."
"What are you going to do?"
Alice looked at him. Once she got close enough, William pulled her to the dining table and sat her down. He took a comb and started to comb her hair.
When the tip of the comb touched Alice's scalp, she was surprised. She looked at William who stood behind her through the mirror, "William, what are you doing?"
"Combing your hair."
William replied calmly.
Alice was stunned. William had helped dry her hair before, but he had never combed her hair. This was the first time.
William sat there in a daze. She watched William combing her hair. The line of William's hand was beautiful. He combed her hair bit by bit.
Her long hairs slid through his fingers.
Alice suddenly thought of a poem she had read before. She had forgotten its details, just remembered that it was written by a man to his wife in ancient times. In the poet, the man said that it was a kind of irreplaceable happiness to comb hairs for his wife every day. Even the power couldn't bring that happiness."
It was a kind of love that like a stream, bland but lasting forever. It never occurred
to her that William would take the initiative to help comb her hair one day.
Alice lowered her head, unable to stop the smile on her face.
But very quickly, she was unable to smile anymore.
Because not only did William wanted to comb her hair, he also wanted to braid
her hair. With a thin wood stick, he wants to split her hairs into two equal parts, but
failed all the time.
Then, William got angry and repeated again and again.
The stick grinded over her scalp, light as it was, no one could bear when it
repeated again and again.
"William, what kind of hair do you want me to weave? Let me do myself."
Alice said weakly.
"No, I don't believe that I can't do such a small thing!"
William glared at her long black hair with anger.
Alice nearly wanted to cry.noveldrama
Time passed minute by minute. Alice laid on the table helplessly. She stared at
her face in the mirror, preying William could succeed right away.
After two hours, Alice's stomach was already empty. William finally made it.
He even took a picture and showed it to her.
Yes, the hair was really perfectly parted now.
The line in the middle was very straight and smooth. You even can use a ruler to measure it.
"You want me to make a ponytail, don't you? I'll do it myself." Alice said weakly.
"No, I'll do it!"
William's words had broken her last hope. He had actually become addicted to braid her hair!
Alice laid on the table once again as William began to braid her hair interestingly. Just like Alice had expected, he couldn't even use a rubber band properly, but the stubborn man just wouldn't give up, but tried again and again.
After learning how to braid a ponytail, William began to mind that it was not
perfect. So he continued to tighten, loosen, tighten, and loosen the rubber bands again.
Alice finally fell asleep as she laid on the table. It was not until her head was held
up by William that she woke up. William finally finished. Rubbing her eyes tiredly, Alice looked at herself in the mirror.
The two ponytails were tied quite well. But she really looked very strange in this
way. She felt herself like a pervert.
"How is it?"
William leaned down, and asked.
"Extremely perfect."
Alice picked up her phone and looked at it. William spent another two hours to
braid hairs!
"Of course, whatever I do is perfect. From now on, I will help you braid hair every
day."
Could she withdraw back her compliment?
"Eric, serve the dishes," William said. After washing his hands, he sat down at the dining table. Alice pulled her ponytail and asked, "Why don't you change clothes?"
"Nope." William rejected quickly.
"Why?"
"Too stupid."
Alice wanted to flip the table. Too stupid so he refused to change, but let her
change? How could he do such a thing!
William reached out to pinch her face, looking at her with satisfaction, "So cute!" Alice, who had been tortured for four hours, wanted to cry.
What do you think?
