Chapter 892
"Wait and see while your precious sister wants it!"
Alice became silent. Actually, she did not want to recall so many sad memories when she came back this time. Besides she had gotten used to this type of lifestyle since she was a little girl.
William stood in her small room and opened the drawer of the cabinet. He was flipping through the books quickly. Alice asked: "What are you looking for?"
"I'm looking for something connects you and Miller!"
There doesn't look like one.
William's felt a little relieved.
Alice sat on the bed and couldn't help but laugh, "No need to. There can't be one. After Miller's operation, all of my diaries and things related to Miller were gone. Nothing left. I mean literally nothing."
William looked at her coldly.
"At that time, my entire family would create a facade that he and Mary had something special. All of my things were gone." Alice said while holding the doll.
"That was the only good thing they're had done!"
William said coldly, as he closed the drawer beside him.
Alice shook her head helplessly. This was a good to William. Back then, she suffered a lot for it.
When you tried to awaken someone's memory but only found all evidence were disappeared. She still remembers that desperation.
However, these memories were only memories now.
But it had happened, she remembered.
"Then what did you do before?" William strode towards her and sat down beside her, and looked right into her eyes.
"Why are you doing this to yourself?"
Alice blurted out.
"Just say it!" William clenched his teeth and said.
Such a petty man.
Alice knew that she could not be too specific. So she thought for a moment and replied, "Actually it's nothing much. At that time, we were only teenagers and had to go to school every day. How could we do anything? We were just living under the same roof and taking care of each other."
"Taking care of each other? How?"
William was very good at capturing important points.
"Uh..." Alice was tongue-tied, "Just... just the things about taking care of the blind. There's nothing else. "By the way, let me show you my school report card from. I saved it well."
Alice ran to the wall and picked up a paper box from a pile of books. Inside the box were all of her childhood books, prizes, student passes, and a bunch of school reports.
"You were really a good student. There are a hell lot of awards."
William picked up the stack of awards.
"Of course, my grades were very good." Alice said proudly. She passed her school reports as if she was offering a treasure. "Look, the comments the teachers gave me are all really good. Look."
William flipped open the school report in his hands and saw the excellence of her homework. Flipping through the school report, he saw that every single report had the same sentence: This student is gentle, quiet, intelligent, sincere, and good at studying.
Almost many teachers felt that she was too quiet.
This was the young Alice, the Alice he never met.
William looked at the school report and then looked at her. Alice sat next to him with her eyes wide open, quietly staring at him, "How is it. I was a good student who had an all-round development in moral, intellectual and body. Now you can imagine how terrible I Felix when I was given that demerit in university." He did that.
William glanced at her, "How terrible you felt?"
"It's very desperate. You clearly never did such a thing, yet you were framed. Everyone was just teasing you. Do you know how horrible while people gossip?" Alice said with a tinge of emotion.
When she thought about it now, she could be considered herself a strong woman. After going through Patrick's amnesia, the demerit, and William framing about the child, she remained a good girl and hadn't become an anti-sociopath. It was a miracle.
William stared at her and took out his phone from his pocket.
Alice looked at him confused, then heard that the call was connected. William's cold voice sounded beside her, "Daniel, go and investigate the people who had mocked Alice at her University, and give me a list of names. If you can't find out, make a list of those who were in school at that time, from the teachers to the students."
After that, William hung up.
Alice looked at him in shock, "What are you doing?"
"Revenge."
William said expressionlessly. He continued to flip through the contents in the box. He remembered that all of his certificates were kept by someone, but she had to do it by herself.
"Revenge?" Alice couldn't believe it. "Mr. Cullen, it seems that you are the one that responsible for it?"
"You can get it back from me in bed."
William returned the school report back into her box.
Alice choked on his words. What kind of revenge was this? He wished!
"You can be on top for a while." William completely understood what she was thinking. He said that with a low voice, and he was kind of turned on.
"I didn't say anything!"
Alice analyzed the box in silent.
"The topic has changed enough. Can we get back to the main topic?" William stared at her and asked, "How do you take care of that Miller?"
He hadn't forgotten about this yet.
She was afraid that if she told him any of the details, he would explode.
"How?" William approached her little by little, almost sticking close to her nose, "You cook for him every day? Washing his clothes every day?"
He came closer and closer to her.
Sweat trickled down the tip of Alice's nose as her eyeballs rolled. She grabbed his hand and stood up, then laughed dryly, "Don't stay in this little room anymore.
Let's
go. Let me show you around."
"Is it hard for you to say?"
William's eyes narrowed dangerously.
"Let's go. Let's go."
It wasn't hard for her to say it. She didn't want him freaked out about some unimportant history.
William was pulled out of the room with an annoyed face. To prevent him from sticking to that question, Alice kept tour sting him around. She told him all the happy memories she could think of.
"This is the place where I did homework. Hey, William, look at those old television. Television nowadays doesn't have such a big back. I dare you never seen one before?"
"This is my foster parents' room. But back that time, my foster father was not at home often. He was working as the driver for the Miller Family."
"Here, the wall was full of climbing tigers, and there was also a very long vine. I
tell you a secret. I used to climb down from this window with the vine in hand, then sneak out to have fun."
Alice looked down from the window, the vine was still long, but it was already dried up, and just rested on the green leaves on the wall.
"Just you alone?"
William got the point once again.
"When I was seven or eight years old, I would have climbed down with the vine."
Alice said proudly.
"You must have a dead wish!"
William pressed her head against the window and peeked his head out just like her. He looked out, the wall was covered with green leaves, and when the wind blew, the leaves would float along with the wind,. As if the dried up vine was also swaying with the wind, unable to fall off.
William could almost imagine a little girl who seemed gentle and quiet, but was actually full of rebellious. She climbed over the window in the midnight. She grabbed onto Vine and sneaked off.
Perhaps, when she landed, she would even wink at him.
Yes.
Pretty cute.
If only he could met her that time.
William smiled a little. His black eyes were filled with love. He lowered its eyes
and looked at the ground below. Alice tilted her head and looked at him, "What are you thinking?"
William's smile disappeared in a second as he stared at her and asked, "How
were you taking care of Miller? Was there anything other than cooking for him?"
He hadn't forgotten yet.
"Come. Let's see Mary's room."
Alice pulled him away.
William frowned, "Why would I check her room?"
What did that woman have to do with him?
Alice ignored and pulled him into Mary's room. William stomped down in
dissatisfaction, "Why is her room so much bigger than yours!"
This couple was really biased.
So disgusting.
Mary's room was a double bed with a desk and TV cabinet. It basically filled with
everything, but still seemed to be larger than Alice's.
William glared at her, "How weak you were? Look how they bullied you!"
Alice didn't say anything.
As William walked in, he saw that there were many Photo Frame s on the TV cabinet, desk, and bedside. All of them were Mary and Patrick together. There
were pictures of them holding hands, hugging and kissing, and they looked extremely happy.
He immediately looked at Alice, only to see that
Alice seemed to be deep in thought while looking at the pictures.
William was unpleased, and rolled up his sleeves as he looked around him. It was
time to break something.
"William, let's go pay our respects to Mary."noveldrama
Alice's indifferent voice suddenly floated into his ears.
William looked over, only to realize that Alice was looking at Mary in that photo.
He put down his sleeves, "Let's go."
Whatever she wanted to do, he would do it for her.
Perhaps no time long, she would have to wait for him for a long time.
"Okay."
Alice nodded and took a few photo frames and carried them in her arms. These
photos were all taken when she was dating Miller after he losing his memories, so
it should be the happiest time for Mary.
When a person died, it would be useless to talk about right and wrong.
As long as they were happy.
"Why are you taking this?"
William looked at her and said.
"I think Mary would like to see it." Alice said lightly, "Let's go."
Alice ordered someone to arrange Mary's grave at her hometown, but she had not come over to pay her respects.
Many trees grew around the cemetery, their leaves fluttering in the wind. The graveyard's monoliths were illuminated by the sunlight, and the photographs were fresh and vivid.
What do you think?
