Chapter 100
After days of rest and healing, my strength had finally returned. Ava, my wolf, was restless within me, eager to finish what we had started. I stood in the healing chamber, Ryan and Claude lying before me, their bodies weakened from the effects of Alpha Rambo's potions. But I could feel it-the sickness that lingered in their veins. I could purify them.
Nathan and Tristan hovered nearby, their expressions tense yet hopeful.
"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Tristan asked, his voice laced with concern.
I nodded, my resolve firm. "I'm ready. It's time."
Stepping forward, I placed my hands over Ryan and Claude, closing my eyes as I called on Ava's power. Warmth spread through me, like the sun breaking through a storm, and I channeled that light into them, watching as the dark energy clinging to their bodies began to dissipate.
Ryan gasped, his back arching as he sucked in a deep breath. Claude followed moments later, groaning as the poison was expelled from his system. The room seemed to pulse with power, the darkness finally retreating for good.
Nathan's hand found mine, squeezing gently. "You did it."
I opened my eyes, feeling a wave of relief crash over me. "They're clean. They'll recover."
Ryan slowly sat up, looking at me with a mixture of awe and gratitude. “Ella... I don't know how to thank you."
I smiled softly, stepping back as he stood on shaky legs. "There's nothing to thank me for. We are one community. This is a blessing and I am chosen to help people. What I am doing is my duty. You're meant to lead."
Ryan smiled and the room was filled with cheers.
"Are you ready?" Tristan asked me, as he looked at Ryan.
I nodded as I grinned at him.
Later, at the Moon Lake pack's ascension ceremony, the air was thick with anticipation. Ryan, dressed in the traditional Alpha garb, stood tall at the center of the gathering. His once weakened form was now filled with strength, his eyes clear and determined. The pack watched in silence as the elders presented him with the mantle of leadership.noveldrama
Nathan leaned down, his breath warm against my ear. "Hard to believe he's the same guy who could barely stand a week ago."
"He's earned this," I replied, pride swelling in my chest.
The elders raised their hands, signaling the start of the ceremony. "Today, we witness the rise of a new Alpha. Ryan, son of the Moon Lake pack, you have shown bravery, loyalty, and strength in the face of darkness. Do you accept the mantle of Alpha and vow to protect your pack?"
Ryan nodded, his voice strong and unwavering. "I do."
The crowd erupted into cheers, the roar of approval echoing through the clearing. I felt a surge of pride as I watched Ryan stand tall, his transformation complete. He had gone from victim to leader in such a short time, and now the pack looked to him for guidance.
Nathan wrapped his arm around my shoulders, pulling me close. "You did more than just purify him, Ella. You helped him find his strength."
Tristan grinned from my other side, eyes glinting with pride. "And you were right about this blessing. This is a new beginning."
As Ryan stepped forward, the pack bowing in recognition of their new Alpha, I realized that we had all come through this stronger. Together, we had faced the darkest of times, and together, we had emerged victorious.
Ryan glanced over at us, his expression filled with gratitude. "Thank you," he mouthed silently, before turning back to his pack, his voice rising above the crowd. "For the Moon Lake pack, we rise!"
Nathan squeezed my hand, his voice low. "We rise."
And in that moment, I knew I was meant for this.
As the crowd's cheers for Ryan's ascension filled the air, I couldn't help but smile, proud of the strength he had found within himself. But then, something unexpected happened. Ryan raised his hand,

motioning for silence. The pack's excitement quickly faded into an expectant hush as all eyes focused on him.
"There's one more thing I need to share," Ryan said, his voice steady but carrying
a hint of anticipation. He took a deep breath, and before anyone could react, Sara
stepped forward from the crowd, moving to stand beside him.
A murmur rippled through the pack, and I felt my heart skip a beat. Nathan, standing beside me, shot me a puzzled look. Tristan frowned, folding his arms.
"What's going on?" Nathan whispered under his breath.
Sara, looking radiant and confident, laced her fingers with Ryan's. Her eyes met his, and I could see the deep connection between them, something none of us had noticed before. The air around them buzzed with a new kind of energy.
Ryan cleared his throat, and with Sara's hand firmly in his, he addressed the pack again. “I wanted everyone to know that I'm not standing here alone today. Sara and I... we're mates."
Gasps filled the air, a mixture of shock and surprise washing over the crowd. My eyes widened, and I could feel the disbelief ripple through those around us. "Mates?" I whispered, glancing at the twins, who were just as taken aback. Nathan let out a low whistle, shaking his head. “Didn't see that one coming." Tristan's brow furrowed. "Well, that explains why she's been so insistent on sticking around him."
I remembered her words, Adopted.
So she meant this.
I blinked, still processing the revelation. Ryan and Sara... mates? The two of them
had always seemed more bickering allies than anything else. But now, seeing
them side by side, hand in hand, it made a strange kind of sense.
Ryan squeezed Sara's hand and

continued, his voice filled with warmth. "have seen darkness, 1. hopelessness, and through it all found her. Sara has stood by my side through the hardest moments of my life, and I'm honored to call her my mate."
Sara smiled up at him, her usual sarcasm replaced with a rare softness. "And I'm lucky enough to have an Alpha who knows how to listen," she said, her voice carrying just enough of her signature wit to make the crowd chuckle.
Nathan leaned over and muttered, "Who would've thought Sara had a soft spot for Alphas?"
I grinned, shaking my head. "I think she's been hiding it well."
The pack seemed to come around, their initial shock dissolving into murmurs of approval. Slowly, the cheers began again, growing louder as the reality of the situation settled in.
Tristan let out a breath, his lips quirking into a smile. "Guess Ryan's not just leading the pack now. He's got someone to lead it with."
Ryan looked directly at us then, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "I know this might be unexpected, but Sara and I are ready to lead this pack together. For the future of Moon Lake."
As the pack roared its approval, I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy for them both. Sara had always been independent, fierce, and full of attitude, and yet here she was, standing proudly beside Ryan as his mate.
Nathan nudged me, his grin widening. "Looks like we're going to be seeing a lot more of Ryan around here."
I chuckled, feeling a strange mix of relief and excitement. "It's going to be interesting, that's for sure."
Tristan shook his head with a smirk. "Well, let's see if Ryan can handle Sara's snark.."
The ceremony ended with cheers and celebration, and as I watched Ryan and Sara standing together, sense of peace washed over me. They had found each other in the chaos, just as I had found Nathan and Tristan. We were all bound together now, in strength in love, and in the shared promise of what lay ahead.
"Here's to new beginnings," I whispered, as Nathan and Tristan wrapped their
arms around me, their warmth grounding me in the joy of the moment.
