The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

Chapter 85: The Birth of an Alpha

Before the rise of a new day, the news of Alexandra being the Alpha of Guerrero's pack spread across the city and beyond. Despite being strong, no one thought she was going to defeat Adam and lead the Guerrero clan. Catching a glimpse of Alexandra walking into the nicely appointed two-view restaurant, a group of girls stares at her whispering, locking eyes with them, Alexandra drops her gaze advancing towards her usual table, and sees the female pack member eating while reading a book.

"Hey" Alexandra flashes her white teeth reclining down on the table.

"Hi" The pack member glances around trying to look for something Alexandra wasn't sure of.

"Are you looking for something?"

"No... I mean yes" The pack members blushes

"What?"

"I was wondering where he is"

"Who?" She raises her brow, confused

"Alpha Nathaniel"

"Why will he be here?"

"I thought I saw you two will be together"

"He is from Crimson clan, why would he be here often and why would you think we would be together"

Sly smile dances on the pack members' faces. "Because you won" she shines her milk-colored teeth

"I did right"

"Congratulations Alexandra"

As Alexandra attempts to talk, a waiter walks over, takes her order, and he leaves.

"How did you know I won?"

Amazed, the pack member scratches her forehead. "Is all over the pack"

"Really? That was so quick, it hasn't even been up to a month"

"A month! Are you crazy? It only takes a day and besides you just made history" "I'm not the first female Alpha, am I?"

"Of course, you are not, but you are certainly the first female Alpha to knock a male Alpha out cold on the ground"

"It wasn't like that" Alexandra smiles

"That's what everyone is saying, how come you are saying something different"

"It happened that way but it may be embarrassing so I don't like Talking about it"

The pack member laughs, she hasn't seen an Alpha who cares about what others think like Alexandra.

"There is nothing to be embarrassed about"

"Are you serious?"

"Yea. You won and if for anything, Adam should be the one getting embarrassed for losing to a girl"

"I wonder how long people are going to talk about it"

"Probably not for long"

"Why"

"That's good, I thought people were going to talk about it for a long time" she smiled but it didn't reach her eyes. Deep down, she wanted the Guerrero pack and beyond to hear about Adam and talk about how he publicly humiliated himself by losing to a girl. They story needed to spread the te neighboring packs would know that he wasn't just a wicked fellow who wanted her not to participate in the election but he was a weakling who couldn't beat those rogues nor defeat her and for that Adam didn't deserve to be the next Alpha since he doesn't deserve that title not even when he is gone.

"No, they are not"

The waiter arrives, lowering her food down at the table, he leaves while locking eyes with Alexandra.

"What's that all about?" The female pack member asks.

"I don't know, people have been giving me the look"

"Oh right is true" The pack member smacked her forehead as a thought strikes through

"What? Tell me hurry!"

"This is the reason no one's going to talk about Adam for long"

"How?"

"You won, a lot of people didn't expect it"

"I thought you said they did"

"I may have said that for you to believe that despite being a woman, you have

people supporting you"

"Is that why I didn't get flowers and congratulations"

"You pretty much got"

"I didn't get any" Alexandra states sternly, her face saddens.

"Maybe you didn't see it" The pack member continues to smile slyly causing

Alexandra to wonder what she has up her sleeves.

"I didn't... Hang on, how did you even know I got flowers when you were not there"

"And who said so?"

"You did, you told me you weren't going to be there"

"True but then I suddenly changed my mind when I dropped your Dad off"

"So you were messing with me"

"A little yea"

"You sneaky little beta"

The pack member laughs seeing smiling Alexandra from chin to chin.

"See you are smiling and that's all that matters"

Realizing what she did, Alexandra gawks at her intently lost for words, no one has ever done that for her, a lot of emotions runs through her eyes and she blinks her eyes hating to show any sign of emotion, it meant weakness Alexandra didn't want that, especially now she was an Alpha.

"I'm glad when you smile, you should smile often"

"Can't believe you did that"

"It doesn't matter if you got flowers or not or if anyone congratulated you, what matters is that at the end of the tunnel you proved them wrong and won"

"I don't know what to say"

"You don't have to say anything, you just have to do better Alexandra, now that you are an Alpha there's going to be eyes on you and why some will root for you, and others would want to see nothing but your downfall"

"What do you want to see?"

"Of course, I want to see you succeed and all and even if I'm not here I still want

to see it" The pack member blurts

"What do you mean if you are not here? Are you leaving?"

"Not really, I'm just saying"

"Oh that's a relieved"

The pack member smiles brightly, she never thought Alexandra would ever think

of her as an acquaintance let alone a friend.

"You will miss me"

Without saying a word, Alexandra takes a sip of her orange juice. "This is so nice for this weather"

"Really? Maybe I should take place an order"noveldrama

"You can have mine" Alexandra extends her juice towards her.

"But you look like you needed it"

"I do but since you want it, you can have it while I just have water"

"Will you miss me?" She asks out of the blue and Alexandra lowers her eyes to

her food.

"Yes," she says in a low voice.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course, I will, you are the very few people who have had my back in this pack"

The female pack member attempts to say something when her eyes fall on the group of girls looking at Alexandra.

"Those girls have been staring at you"

"Really?" As Alexandra turns, she locks eyes with them and they wave at her and

she waved back, dropping her gaze.

"What was that?" Alexandra asks

"You have started a little fan club, is only a matter of time before it is, Alpha Alexandra reigning on the streets"

"They say mean Alphas are usually popular. If I'm not mean, does it mean I won't be mean?"

"Of course, not Alexandra, winning the fight already made you popular, you will even become more popular. Who knows you might start competing with your

mate"

Hearing the latter, Alexandra laughs, not In this life did she imagine such, Nathaniel was strong and great and so far no Alpha has been able to outdo him and she just wasn't going to be the one. At least not without doing anything. "Maybe it's time to accept his help" Alexandra states and before the pack member could have the opportunity to ask another question, she was already out of the restaurant, running into the streets.
