The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

"Get lost" Adam seethes causing Nathaniel to scoff.

"Only when you do"

Molding his fist tightly, Adam clenches his jaw. "Get out of my way"

"Why?"

Adam scoffs, enraged. "Why? You are in my pack, my territory! How dare you question me?"

"Your territory!" Nathaniel runs his hand through his face, seeing right through him, and he could tell what he was thinking. "Fine you are right, is your pack but it isn't your Territory"

"How?" Adam glares at him

"This is Guerrero pack but is not Guerrero city"

"True but you are not welcomed"

"Who said that?"

"I, Alpha Adam Hawthorn"

Nathaniel chuckles. "Alpha? Are you still worth that title considering you lost today"

"What?" Adam grabs his collar. "Shut your mouth"

"Or else what?" Nathaniel dares

"Or else I will throw you out of here"

"Can you?"

"Of course, I can"

"What gives you the right to throw me out?"

"This is Guerrero pack council and you are not welcomed here"

"For someone who just lost, you seem to be in the mood"

"Shut your mouth I said" Adam yells

"Or what? You just lost to Alexandra in 20 minutes, I will beat you up in a second" Adams glares at him.

"Should we bet on that or perhaps we should head back to the ring or start a fight here in front of all these people"

Adam glances around and sees his pack members standing around, chatting with each other.

"It will be so humiliating getting beat up by both mates, won't it? Imagine losing to Alexandra and me on the same day, it's going to be in Guerrero history"

"Shut your mouth"

"Everyone is going to remember you as the fallen Alpha. How is that going to make you feel"

"This is all your fault. What did you do to her? What did you say to Alexandra? Everything was going well until you showed up"

Nathaniel smiles. "Is that the best you can do?"

"What?"

Glancing at Adams's hands rumpling his shirt, Nathaniel yanks his hands off. "Aren't you pathetic for an Alpha"

"What did you just say?"

"Is bad enough that you already lost to a woman, now you are looking for who to blame"

"I said shut your mouth, you bastard"

"What will you do now? Crawl back to your hole"

Adam chuckles. "You think you have it under control, do you?"

"Not really but if there is something I fancy is the fact that you lost to Alexandra. I

wonder what your pack member has to say about it"

"Shut your mouth, there isn't a single thing they can say"

"Really? They won't whisper how a certain Alpha Adam Hawthorn lost to a woman"

"They are not like crimson pack"

"Seriously? Wow! Too bad, should we test and see if no one is talking about you" Leaning towards his ear, Nathaniel whispers the latter

"Look around you Adam, see their eyes boring holes into your skin, they are mocking you for how shameless you laid on the ground when Alexandra knocked you out cold"

"Shut your mouth!" Adam yells, causing the pack members to whisper as they stare at him.

Nathaniel chuckles. "Now they Talking about you"

"You are evil"

"And so are you, trying to chase after Alexandra, what do you think you are doing"

"And so what? What's it to you?"

"Is everything to me"

"I don't care what it is to you and most importantly I don't owe you an explanation"noveldrama

"Oh you owe it to me because Alexandra doesn't belong to you"

"Who then does she belong to? You?" Adam chuckles. "Don't be ridiculous, you think just because you are an Alpha you can come and claim her"

"I don't think and at least, I'm not a disgraced Alpha".

"Is only one loss"

"To a woman who happens to be my mate, isn't it shameful already? Do you need more beating?"

"How dare you, Nathaniel!"

"Is Alpha Nathaniel, that title didn't come cheap"

"You got some nerve"

"Dare say it again"

"What?" Adam lifts his brow

"Dare say my name again without including my title and I promise you, I will do more damage than Alexandra did to you"

Adam clenches his jaw, his adrenaline rushes up, and his hand itches to throw a hard punch at Nathaniel, chooses to control himself. He was already aware of the turn of events if he tries to attack Nathaniel. The rumors he has heard about him were not just based on groundless stories, it was true and he, for one person had confirmed it from one of the guards who once dated a werewolf in the crimson pack.

"Go to hell"

"Why, changed your mind? Is a good thing you know when to shut up Adam"

"Don't you dare think I'm not beating you up because I'm scared of you because I am not"

"Uh are you certain, fine hit me" Nathaniel dares

"You are out of your mind"

"Maybe but is worth the trial"

Without uttering another word, Adam tries to walk past him but Nathaniel holds his

arm.

"Where do you think you are going?"

"Get out of my way I don't owe you an explanation"

"Oh yes you do, since you are heading to the place where Alexandra is staying"

"And you should be worried because?"

"Because she is my mate"

Adam chuckles. "You think I'm scared? I don't buy that crap now move"

"Move to where?"

"Out of my way"

Nathaniel scoffs, poking his chest. "It seems you are not getting it"

"Getting what?"

"Alexandra is my mate"

"And so?"

"And she is mine. Alexandra is mine and mine alone"

Adam laughs. "You must be out of your mind"

"Really? Try me. Dare go to her"

Adam scoffs. "Alexandra isn't yours you bastard"

"Then is she yours?"

"Yes she is"

"Really? Did she tell you that?"

Adam opened his mouth to say something but couldn't form the right words. Nathaniel was right, Alexandra has always recognized one mate and it wasn't him,

it was Nathaniel but he wouldn't want to give up and let Nathaniel win, not after the humiliation Alexandra put her through.

"Does it matter?"

"Before I let you step an inch close to Alexandra I need to be certain you are permitted to come close to her but I guess that you aren't. Which means the both of you aren't close"

"Shut your mouth, you don't know anything"

"Really? I don't think so" Nathaniel whispers, "I think I know enough"

Adam chuckles. "You think you know her better than I do. I have known Alexandra all through my life, we are from the same pack and we are friends" "Friends," Nathaniel laughs. "You consider yourself Alexandra's friend. Are you not exaggerating a little bit?"

"I'm telling the truth"

"No you aren't, you are bluffing, that's what people like you do, that's why they can't wake up from their slumber and accept the fact that they lost and walk away while they still can instead of humiliating themselves even further" Feeling anger surge through his body, Adam glares. "How dare you! You are crossing the line"

"And so? What are you intending to do to me?"

"You got some nerve" Adam laughs trying to hide his rage

"I'm going to say this once, stay away from Alexandra, instead of trying to blame

her for your incapability, you should sit in a corner and think about why you lost" "What?" Adam's eyes darken, he couldn't believe Nathaniel was crossing the line.

"You shouldn't have participated in the election if you knew you were going to

lose"

"Shut your mouth" He barks

"Or what?" Nathaniel dares "I'm curious to know what a supposed Alpha who lost

to my mate would do to me. What will you do?" Nathaniel smirks

"You are messing with the wrong guy"

"What will you do to me?"

"You have no idea"

"You bark a lot Adam, why not bite, and let's see who bleeds to death first"

Adam grits his teeth, gazing into Nathaniel's eyes firmly and he gazes back at him, sternly. "This isn't the end Alpha Nathaniel"

"Really? I will wait for it then, now go home and try to lower your head while

walking back home, that way you will think about why you choose to humiliate yourself"

"Go to hell"

"That's where you are headed, now scurry off while you still can before your pack members start booing you"

Glaring at him, Adam walks away, enraged and Nathaniel scoffs.

"What a loser" he glances around.

"Where is she?"
