The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

"You know damn well what I mean" Alexandra infectious grin widened and despite what Adam was plotting. Alexandra wanted to be a step ahead of her and get Nathaniel out of Guerrero pack before he dies.

"What do you mean?" He asked again. He stared deeper into her eyes..

"Do you honestly think we will come here without a plan? Do you honestly think Nathaniel would come here without a plan"

Adam scowled at her. They wouldn't have made plans long after Nathaniel busted her from prison. But it was Nathaniel, he had made him believe that everything was over between him and Alexandra only for him to turn up and save her just when Olivia was about to torture her. Could he have made plan?

"You made plan" Adam said as he followed her pace. He wasn't going to let his guard down nor get carried away. Alexandra could be playing his game and he would just fall into her trap.

"Didn't you hear what I said"

"I don't believe you"

"That's your problem but don't be stunned when you see them barge in here and then it will be your head on a stake"

"Ha!" Adam wouldn't believe she would make such outrageous statement.

"We both know you are the scary one"

"Shut up" He mumbled

"Why? Isn't it the truth or did you lie to these people that you are the chivalrous Alpha who would die protecting his pack"

"Shut up" He said again but Alexandra wasn't going to give up. She was going to press harder till she sets them apart.

She looked at the guard whose loyalty was unquestionable. "You should know what sort of person he is. Instead of standing here and dying for someone who would recognise your act of chivalry. You should leave right one"

"We can turn our back on our Alpha" One of the guards said hastily.

"You poor thing" Alexandra tsk. "Strong is your mind but frail is your body" "Shut up Alexandra"

"He will leave you! All of you once they come!" Alexandra states aloud

"I said shut up Alexandra!" Adam yells in the same voice. He saw right through her. Alexandra was smart but he was more than a snake than she will ever be.

"I know what you are trying to do"

"Is good you know?"

"It won't come"

"Don't be so sure Adam's"

"You cannot turn them against me"

"What?" Alexandra knows those words meant something else.

"They will do whatever I tell them to"

"You have blinded their eyes with lies"

"I did no such thing. They simply follow the Alpha"

"You are no Alpha"

"Is that what you tell yourself?"

"I should be asking you that since you made yourself Alpha when no one made you one"

"My coronation is yet to take place"

"It will never take place" Alexandra retorts and glanced over at the guards. "Stay

by his side and face death or take your leave now and live the rest of your life thanking"

"Shut up Alexandra that's never going to happen"

"They can never leave me"

"Don't be so sure" Alexandra challenged and Adam grinned as if she'd amused him.

"You're funny Alexandra. I didn't know you are such good at comedy"

"You think this is funny"

"Of course. I'm finding amusement" He glances up and down her body. He'd noticed her dress, although covered in dirt. She was still stunning and now he realised why Nathaniel was always chasing after her.

"I'm giving you all a chance" Alexandra said to the guards but no one made a move to leave. They were like robots who has been programmed to do their job and they would not leave except it has been done. No. They would not even listen to anyone aside from Adam.

"You are wasting your time"

"I'm giving you a chance!". Alexandra said a little louder as if they had not heard her the first time.noveldrama

"Give it up Alexandra"

"They won't even listen" She mumbled. Something was not right. She hasn't met these guards in the pack. They weren't the regular guards she often sees at the council nor the ones at the pack house.

"They would never listen to you. I am their Alpha"

"An Alpha who leads his pack to death"

"Watch what you say"

"You cannot control me" She snapped, angered by his words.

She had a feeling in her gut that something was wrong. How could Adam have a

hold on them before the coronation? What did he do to them?

"Give it up Alexandra or you won't like the ending"

"Shut your mouth. I would fight to the very end"

"That's something about you that amaze me. So brazen"

"Is a good thing you still remember"

"How could I forget when we share such good memories together"

"ill fate. We share nothing. The only that holds us together is our ill fate"

Adam grinned wickedly. Alexandra wasn't far from the truth. All these started with their ill fate.

"We can't outrun it"

"Just what are you blabbing about?"

"Our fate. It all begin with something. What was it again?" Adam arched up his

brow at her feigning to be in thoughts for a moment.

He snapped his finger up, collectively. "That's rights, it started with death"

"You sick bastard"

Adam tilt his head, a smirk on his face. "And it will end with death" He takes slow steps towards Nathaniel

Realising what he trying to do, Alexandra screams out, attempting to rush towards him when a guard holds her firmly.

"Our ill fate ends here Alexandra Guerrero. Such a colossal waste of time"

"You sick bastard"

"Am I?" Adam widened his smirk.
