The Night I Let Go

Chapter 73

Zachary wondered if Molly had seen the malicious look on his face when she

woke up.

As he arrived at the office building, he ran into Anya, who had just gotten there as

well.

Dressed as always in her charismatic female CEO attire, Anya exuded an air of confidence and arrogance that kept people at arm's length.

Zachary glanced at her indifferently as the elevator doors opened.

"Hold on, Zachary. Come to my office later. There's something I need to discuss with you!" Anya's commanding voice called out just as he stepped into the elevator.

The colleagues in the elevator couldn't help but turn to Zachary with curiosity. Unable to refuse Anya's request in front of his coworkers, he had no choice but to agree.

After returning to his office, Zachary placed the documents on his desk and headed straight to Anya's office.

In the CEO's office, Anya sat in her executive chair, sipping the imported coffee that Sarah had just brought her.

Zachary pushed the door open and walked in confidently, asking, "You needed something?"

Anya set her coffee cup down and smiled gently, her tone noticeably softer. "Mr. Lloyd, is that steamer Molly really your sister?"

Zachary frowned slightly, a hint of annoyance creeping into his voice. "You called me over just to ask this?"

"I'm curious!" Anya replied with a playful wink. Her icy demeanor seemed to have melted away, revealing a more playful side.

Zachary responded indifferently, "Sort of."

Anya's brows furrowed slightly, feeling uncomfortable at his ambiguous answer.

"Sort of? Does that mean that he's not biologically related to that streamer? Is she just a pseudo-sister or something?" Anya thought. Her brows tightened, exuding a chill in the air.noveldrama

"If there's nothing else, I'll get back to work now." Noticing Anya's silence, Zachary decided to take his leave.

"Mr. Lloyd, I'd like to ask you something. Do you plan to nurture her talent? If so, I can help." Anya quickly stopped him from leaving.

Zachary's interest was piqued. He looked at Anya silently, signaling her to continue.

"I have a friend who happens to run a livestreaming business. He has 50 streamers in his company, including a top outdoor streamer with five million followers. If you're interested, I can introduce you to him.

"Mr. Lloyd, you're not familiar with the livestreaming business, so I suggest that you leave this to the experts. While you could choose to invest a lot of money into the business, you might not achieve the results you want. So, why not let the professionals nurture Molly's talent? What do you say?"

Anya smiled gently as if confidently proposing a partnership. She added, "Of course, I'm just making a suggestion. The decision is still yours to make, Mr. Lloyd."

After a brief moment of

contemplation, Zachary decided to discuss it with Molly first. Although he wanted to help her improve her circumstances, he didn't want to turn her into a puppet for his own benefit.

Everyone deserved their own freedom, and Zachary wanted to respect Molly's choices.
