A week later, Irene was pleased as she looked at the renderings from the tech department. What she always felt was missing was now perfectly captured. "Send it out," she instructed. Soon, a 3D rendering was making its way through all of Soucrity
Morgan was in a meeting when he heard about it. His assistant rushed in, clearly flustered, and said, "Mr. Sanchez, there's a problem." The assistant looked complex and pale. Morgan knew his assistant wouldn't disrupt a meeting over minor details; something major must've happened.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
The assistant quickly handed over the tablet, saying, "Mr. Sanchez, look at this."
On his tablet was a stunning 3D rendering. To his surprise, it was the flawlessly detailed plan the Planning Department had presented earlier. This was the proposal that took half a month of discussions with a renowned designer to finalize, focusing on the development of Misty Evergreen Isle.
Now, this plan was exactly what the Planning Department had submitted, but it was for Crescent Isle. The White Group had just released the rendering this morning, and within two hours, it had already hit the headlines on major news outlets.
He gave his assistant a penetrating look. "What's happening here? Has someone in the company leaked information?" The assistant knitted his brows. "Mr. Sanchez, that seems unlikely. Nobody knows the entire plan, and even the techs who made the renderings don't have access to the full design."
"Investigate thoroughly. I want answers, even if you have to turn every stone," Morgan said firmly.
"Mr. Sanchez, right after we found this image, I did some digging and discovered that this plan wasn't developed within the White Group. It came straight from Irene." The assistant made it clear: Irene had shamelessly copied their entire plan.
Morgan took another careful look at the rendering, searching for anything out of the ordinary. Suddenly, he twitched and tossed the tablet to his assistant. "Put the meeting on hold. I need to step out for a bit." Morgan went straight to Aurelith University. At that time, Yasmine was treating Yoselin. When she saw Morgan, she had no choice but to let Yoselin rest and led Morgan outside. "Cousin, what's going on?" she asked. Morgan looked at her seriously. "Something's up. Check the latest news from the White Group," he said.
Yasmine quickly grabbed her phone, and there it was, the pinned post displaying the renderings. Her heart skipped a beat. "Hold on, isn't this our design? How did she post it?" Yasmine exclaimed
Even before theirs came out, Morgan hadn't heavily promoted the Misty Evergreen Isle project because the renderings weren't done yet. He was shocked it got leaked. But how did Irene get her hands on the plan? Morgan said seriously, "I'm here because of this. Our tech team doesn't have full access to the entire plan yet. But I spotted a mistake in the renderings released by White Group."
"What?" Morgan asked. He zoomed in on the rendering, showing a small house next to the resort hotel. "This," he pointed
oul
Mental Ease Chamber?" Yasmine suddenly understood. Neither Morgan nor Irene ever mentioned this building when interacting with designers or the planning department.
Even the Planning Department's proposals didn't mention this small house, and the assistant was clueless about the purpose of the marked-off area Yasmine added the house, and only she and Morgan knew about it. Chapter 301
Yasmine's face went pale. "It's her."
"Have you figured out who it is?" Morgan asked urgently.
Yasmine nodded. "Donna. It has to be her. I accidentally left my documents at home that day, and she must have sneaked into my room."
Morgan looked puzzled. "There aren't any cameras in the bedroom, and the ones in the hallway only catch movement on the stairs. There are no signs at your room's entrance." He speculated that the person behind this had made meticulous plans. She thought, 'But how did Donna know Irene?' Morgan's expression instantly went cold. "This is like inviting a wolf into the house," he muttered. "Cousin, Donna's definitely teamed up with Irene." He wasn't sure what their arrangement was, but he knew it couldn't be good for him.
"Yasmine, I won't let anyone hurt you," Morgan said, his eyes shining with determination.
Yasmine came home weighed down by heavy thoughts. Donna hadn't left her room. With a serious expression, he approached and knocked on the door. Donna, sitting on the bed looked over nervously. "What do you want?" she stammered, clutching onto something tightly.
"Donna, you better come clean before things go too far," Yasmine warned, her gaze chillingly cold.
Donna ducked away from her intense gaze. "I don't know what you mean," she said.
"Let me jog your memory-how did you sneak into my room to swipe the plan? Remember now?" Yasmine's voice got icier by the second. Donna drew in a deep breath. "You're not welcome in my room. Leave. I have no clue what you're talking about-what plan? I don't get it." "The Misty Evergreen Isle proposal and blueprint plans," Yasmine nearly wanted to slap her across the face.
Donna jumped up and shoved her toward the door. "Get out. I don't understand what
you
mean."
"It's fine if you don't get it now. Just remember, I'll make you pay. Don't forget what happened to Caleb," Yasmine warned. Donna trembled as she pushed her out and slammed the door behind her. Fear gripped her. She'd only heard rumors of Yasmine's tactics with Caleb, supposedly messing with his nerves, but she was sure Yasmine had something to do with it.
Yasmine went back to her room and dug out the document hidden beneath her computer. She felt certain that Donna was the one who had taken it and handed it over to Irene.
"Yasmine, what's going on?" Yoselin asked with concern, rubbing her sleepy eyes.
Yasmine shook her head gently. "Nothing's wrong. Have you been having bad dreams lately?" she inquired.
With a smile, Yoselin replied, "Nope. When I'm with you, Yasmine, I've never had nightmares. But are you sure you're okay? You seem a bit worn out."
"Yoselin, I'm really alright, don't overthink it. Go get some rest since you'll have treatment later," Yasmine urged, quickly ushering her away.
After acknowledging, Yoselin left and returned to her room. Staring at her phone screen, she saw her brother's name and hesitated about calling him. After much contemplation, she went ahead and dialed his number. "Hey, Yonas. Where are you?" she asked. The voice on the phone hesitated for a moment before responding, "I'm at the office. What's going on? Are you getting used to living there?"NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.

Yoselin laughed softly. "Tm-good. Yonas. It's Yasmine who's looking all worried"
