Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 858

The Janctera Evening News had published a short novel, written in the first

person from a female perspective.

The protagonist of the novel was named Norine Scott, oddly similar to Nadine's

name. The male lead was named Brett Hamilton, which was also similar to Brad's

name.

The story was of a girl named Norine Scott. After losing her boyfriend to death,

she met a man who looked exactly like him. This man, named Brett Hamilton,

eventually became her target of affection. She then went to great lengths to marry

him.

After their marriage, however, Brett did not treat Norine well. He was cold and

indifferent. In his heart, there was only his first love, Jean Sailor. Unable to endure

such a life, Norine eventually divorced him in a fit of rage.

This story was exceedingly simple, devoid of a proper ending. Regardless, it

caused an uproar. Everyone knew exactly who the novel was alluding to, and the

slight name changes left no room for doubt.

As a result, the past scandals involving Brad, Jack, and Nadine were dragged

back into the spotlight.

@sheepdelight: "What kind of drama is this? Isn't this clearly the entangled love-

hate story of Brad and Nadine? And now there's a third party involved? Substitute

romance? Nadine is getting exposed as the heartless one here."

@meatcrush: "Aren't Nadine and Brad divorced? Could the reason for their

divorce be this mystery lover? Judging by this novel, the author seems to know

some inside scoop that we don't know. @author, please spill the tea. We're dying

to know."

@merlinspain: "No wonder Brad agreed to the divorce. Nadine's such a bitch.

How could she use Brad as a substitute? If I were Brad, I'd leave her too. Who

would want to be a replacement? What garbage behavior!"

@dante_uses_shampoo: "No wonder Nadine wanted a divorce. The bitch used

Brad as a stand-in and only left when she realized he didn't love her. She's

shameless! Let's bully her, everyone."

@missnoriches: "Damn Nadine! How dare you treat my fave like this? You'll pay

for this! Let's form a group and curse Nadine to death. She'll never hear the end of

it."

@ChillandWin: "Is no one curious about who this mysterious person is? How

could someone look so identical to Brad? Are they related? Shouldn't we figure

this out before cursing Nadine to death?"

Meanwhile, Nadine remained

oblivious to the storm brewing in

Janctera City. The only thing she

knew was that in a few minutes,

Brad's private jet would land. Then,

she wouldn't have to see his

achingly handsome face anymore.

Truth be told, Brad was her type. During their marriage, she was mad at him

countless times. Sometimes, she'd even stew in silent rage. But the moment she

saw his unrivaled beauty, her anger would dissipate by half.noveldrama

With such a breathtakingly handsome face, what was there to be mad about?

The flight from Pittsbrew to

Janctera City took over two hours.

During the entire journey, Brad had

been fussing over Nadine. One

moment, he asked if she was thirsty.

The next, if she was hungry. Then, if

she was tired.

He was entirely unlike the cold and aloof Brad she had always known-distant

and unapproachable. This new side of him left Nadine at a loss for words.

If Brad was still the cold and

indifferent man he used to be, she

would've been fine. She would have

remained calm and detached. But

now, he was suddenly so warm and

attentive. That made her unsure of

how to respond.

For heaven's sake, couldn't he go back to being the icy, reserved Brad he always

was?

Just as Nadine entertained these thoughts, Brad spoke again. "Nad, the plane is

about to land. Don't you have anything you want to say to me?"
