Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 857

Evelyn was a ruthless woman. This was proven years ago when she abandoned

Jean without a second thought.

Jean was just a newborn baby at the time. Evelyn hadn't even glanced at her own

child before instructing her mother to give the baby away.

Ten months of pregnancy, a painful delivery, and the deep bond of flesh and blood

-yet she hadn't hesitated to discard her child just like that. What kind of

heartlessness did that take?

Although Gigi was also her daughter, Evelyn was well aware that Gigi was living a

good life. Therefore, she likely wouldn't pay Gigi much mind.

"You're living well with the Hamiltons. Why would she care about you?" Daniel

asked.

Gigi found Daniel's words logical. Her eyes darted around as she thought of an

idea.

She said, "Yes, I'm doing well-but I'm still her daughter. If I say I need her, she'll

definitely reach out to me, no? Mom's been hiding all this time. If she does

something that harms the Hamiltons again, what will we do then?

"Brad's not in Janctera City, and your health isn't great. I can't shoulder such a

heavy burden alone. We need to find a way to eliminate the threat Mom poses.

Otherwise, who knows what kind of monstrous things she might do next?"

Ever since learning about Evelyn's affair with Lucas, Gigi had felt nothing but

shame. It was often said that a child would never resent their parents' flaws. But

Gigi simply couldn't accept what Evelyn had done.

Now, the entire Janctera City elite circle was buzzing with rumors about Evelyn

and Lucas. The gossip was as vicious as it was relentless, leaving Gigi too

embarrassed to step outside the estate.

After some thought, Daniel nodded, agreeing with Gigi's suggestion. "You can try

reaching out to her. Whether she's willing to meet you, I can't say."

Seeing the determination in Gigi's

eyes, Daniel realized that she had

truly grown up. He stood, walked

over to her, and patted her on the

shoulder. "Just do your best and

leave the rest to luck.

"And one more thing... Go out more

often. Don't let what others say

bother you. What they say hasnoveldrama

nothing to do with you. You're still

young and need to experience

society and interact with people.

Don't keep shutting yourself in at

home."

The events at home over the past few months had made Daniel overlook Gigi's

growth. Now, seeing the maturity on her once-youthful face, he felt a pang of

heartache.

Gigi's eyes instantly reddened. Ever since Brad and Nadine divorced, the family

had changed entirely. It no longer felt like a home. Evelyn's betrayal only

deepened her resentment.

Sometimes, people were forced to grow up overnight.

Daniel's reassurance brought out the softest parts of Gigi's heart. Knowing that he

still cared about her filled her with profound warmth.

"Dad, you should also go out more often. Don't worry about what others say. No

matter what, you still have me and Brad," Gigi said.

Daniel smiled faintly and gently

pinched her cheek. He sighed before

saying, "Our little Gigi has grown up.

I know you want Nadine to be your

sister-in-law, but Brad has hurt her

deeply. It might be impossible to win

her back. If you have time, help Brad

out."

Gigi nodded firmly. "Don't worry, Dad. I'll do my best."

She continued, "I heard that Brad and Nadine are coming back today. I'll go pick

them up."
