Loved You Once But He's My Forever (Chloe)

Chapter 555 Waltz

Taylor was momentarily stunned. Anna had lived on the island for years. Although she had learned a lot, her mind was still not very mature.

She was still that child who had never truly grown up, completely unaware of the boundaries between men and women.

But Taylor was different. He was in his adolescence, a stage where emotions began to stir.

He understood the difference between a girl and a woman, as well as the distinction between men and women.

He and Anna could no longer be as close as they once were.

Like right now-her newly developing body was softly pressed against his firm back.

Anna had left her family when she was five, and no one here had taught her that girls at this age should wear bras.

He had deliberately instructed all the teachers to say nothing beyond professional lessons.

The last time he returned, she hadn't even started developing. He hadn't expected it to happen so quickly.

He hadn't even prepared for it.

And now, he could clearly feel the changes in her body.

Under the sunlight, the tips of his ears flushed a deep red.

Facing the pure and innocent Anna, he could only speak to break the moment, "The food will be ready soon. Go rest for a bit."

Anna's thoughts were simple. As long as she acted like when she was younger- pleasing him, clinging to him-Taylor would grant her wishes.

She wanted to see her family and hear their news.

The Carlyns' blood feud would never spare the Sanders. She knew that day would come sooner or later, but she still wanted to do everything she could for them.

Both of them ate in silence, lost in their own thoughts.

Seeing that Anna was about to cling to him again, Taylor finally gave in and took out the photos.

The photos showed Chloe's and her brothers' current situation.

In other words, her siblings were still alive and safe.

Anna felt a wave of relief wash over her.

How could Taylor not know what she was thinking?

But the wheels of fate had already turned forward, and even he was powerless to stop them.

Knowing that her family was unharmed, Anna felt much better and clung to Taylor even more.

Taylor found it a bit troublesome and had no choice but to test her on her studies as an excuse.

Anna's small face fell. "Taylor, how about you test me on dance first? I recently learned the waltz."

She really didn't want to be tested on anything else, so she picked the easiest option.

"Sure."

Taylor wanted her to develop in all areas because no one could predict the future.

If a miracle happened one day, at least by then, Anna wouldn't be like a socially disconnected, uneducated adult.

The Carlyns had stolen her life as a noble young lady. He could only try to return as much of it as possible.

Once she regained her freedom, she would be able to live a good life on her own terms.

Anna changed into a gorgeous princess dress. In that moment, she truly looked like a princess stepping out of a fairy tale.

Her eyes were so pure and beautiful. The baby fat had faded from her small face, leaving behind a delicate and lively expression.

Taylor stood there, as if he had just heard a loud, resounding knock against his heart.

He heard the sound of his heart skipping a beat.

For the first time, he realized that Anna had grown up. She was no longer the little girl she used to be.

Her figure was slender, and as she lifted her skirt and ran toward him, she looked so graceful.

"Taylor." Anna waved her hand in front of his eyes, snapping Taylor out of his daze.

A boy can fall in love in an instant—just like that.

As the music began to play, Taylor extended his hand toward her. When Anna placed her small hand in his palm, she noticed it was slightly damp.

This was her first time dancing with Taylor.

She knew he was incredibly intelligent, almost capable of anything.noveldrama

She hadn't expected him to be so skilled at dancing as well. In contrast, she had miscounted a few beats and accidentally stepped on his foot several times.

"Taylor, I'm sorry, I messed up again. I don't want to learn anymore."

Anna slumped in frustration. "What's the point of learning anyway? I'm stuck on this island, with no one to talk to, no one to dance with. It's so boring. I might as well just give up."

"How can that be?"

Children from wealthy families often attended social events-no one didn't know

how to dance.

Even if she had remained with the Sanders, someone would have been assigned to teach her.

Taylor crouched down and ruffled

the hair of Anna sitting on the

ground with her arms wrapped

around her knees. "What if you leave this island one day? If everyone else knows how to dance but you don't, you'll feel out of place."

Anna bit her lip. "Stop lying to me. I know I'll never leave. You let me live, but like

this, I'd rather be dead."

"You want to leave that badly? The outside world may not be as free as this island. At least here, there's no scheming, no deception-youcan just be yourself."

"I want to go."

Anna grabbed his sleeve. "Taylor, take me off this island. Let me see the outside

world, please?"

Taylor sighed helplessly. "Then learn this dance."

"Okay."

Anna's eyes lit up. "I have an idea. I won't step on your feet this time."

"What is it?"

The next second, Anna took off her shoes. "Taylor, stand up."

Taylor got to his feet. Anna stepped onto his feet, wrapped her arms around his

neck, and brought them even closer together.

"There! Now you can lead me."
