When Carolien's gaze fell on Elijah's chest, which was exposed under his

pajamas, her face grew hot and her heart could not help beating wildly. How could someone be so handsome? She couldn't take it!

She silently grumbled about him in her heart. When she saw him pouring two glasses of wine on the stage, she turned around and went directly over to him. She gracefully picked up the glass and downed it as soon as she grabbed it, suppressing the emotions in her heart. "You're good at drinking. I hope that your dancing is as satisfactory as your alcohol tolerance."

With his body leaning forward, Carolien flashed a subtle smile and fluttered her stunning eyes. Her pale fingertips slipped in front of Elijah and began tracing his collar up and down, but avoided the part of his body that was exposed.

"Mr. Luther, don't you think it'd be more exciting and sentimental to take your clothes off yourself?"

His dim pupils suddenly shrank, but Elijah raised his hand and pushed her away. He leaned his body back slightly, and then picked up the wine glass on the table and took a sip.

There was another wave of impatience that could not be suppressed. In an instant, Elijah sensed a dangerous aura, and a thought suddenly came to his mind.

He mustn't touch her.

Unexpectedly, Carolien abruptly took a huge step back. Her eyes were shimmering. "But you won't do it yourself! Don't blame me for keeping you in suspense, then."

While beaming, Carolien spun around to the beat of the music. Her long, wavy hair flowed like a tide, and she naturally returned to the empty space on the other side of the table. She had created distance between them.

She casually struck a few poses while following the music. She picked up a decorative rose on the edge of the table, gently adjusted it, and held it between her lips. At the same time, she turned her back to him. The moment she slowly looked back, the silk nightdress on her body gradually slipped off, as if it was another layer of her skin. Under the cover of her long hair, her pale back figure was vaguely visible under her tight clothing.

Last time, when they were gambling, she had taken everything off from inside to outside. It was basically as if she hadn't taken anything off at all until the very end.

Elijah side-eyed her. He took a sip of red wine and put down his glass. As soon as he moved his hand, she slipped out of his grip like an eel.

His eyes narrowed dangerously, while Carolien grinned faintly and took two steps back. Their eyes met. This time around, she took off her shorts without any qualms. That wasn't the only piece of clothing she had left, but her actions held Elijah's determination back.

Noticing that his gaze seemed to be focused on her upper body, Carolien moved around in all directions. She chose to take off her shorts, of which there were multiple layers.

The same song had been played at least four times in a row. His eyes were practically glued to her body and they didn't waver even for a moment. However, after more ore than 20 minutes, all Elijah saw was her bending her body in front of him as she kept taking off layer after layer. Despite that, he didn't get to see what he wanted most. She was still covered up.

He had originally thought that she would get sick sooner or later, but his emotions

were already at their peak. Finally, he couldn't wait any longer.

Getting up, he grabbed her wrist and dragged her over. "Trying to trick me, are

you? You're wearing all these layers. Are you going to spend all night taking them

off?"

Hooking her arm around his neck, Carolien jumped right onto him. Her legs were on both sides of his waist, and she was slightly out of breath. Her fingertips stroked his Adam's apple, and she giggled. Her eyebrows were full of vigorous energy.

"Well... you didn't say I wasn't allowed to wear all this."

The truth was that right then, there was only one last layer left on her. Ending

things like that made her feel less embarrassed.

Not only was she refusing to admit it, she even twisted his words.

As soon as she raised her hand, Elijah gave her thigh a hard slap. "How dare you

try and argue?"

Her body shrunk back and she subconsciously tensed up her thighs. Both of them

let out a muffled grunt at the same time. "Ah!"

In an instant, it was as if a bonfire had been ignited, setting the intertwined two

bodies on fire. Their gazes clashed, causing a series of crackling sounds. Both of them immediately froze.
