"Ms. Killian, why did you lie to her?" Theo stepped forward and asked straightforwardly.

"Mr. Smith." Giselle remained respectful upon noticing Theo. After all, he was Bernard's right-hand man.

"I didn't lie to her. We did attend high school together at Cavenridge International Academy, "she innocently remarked.

Theo noticed her feigned expression but did not continue bantering with her. Ever since Bernard forgot about Hera, Giselle was always hanging around Bernard. Everyone knew what she was up to but did not expose her on Bernard's account.

"Ms. Killian, is there anything you need from Mr. Killian? If not, please leave. I have some business to discuss with Mr. Killian," Theo said.

The way he decided on behalf of Bernard infuriated Giselle. Theo was merely Bernard's employee, yet he considered himself someone with authority just because Giselle was polite to him.

Although she was fuming, Giselle forced herself to remain composed and managed a smile. " My dad asked if Uncle Bernard's free tonight for dinner. We haven't eaten together in a long time."

Bernard was indifferent toward anyone except Lucius, whom he still considered family.

There were times when others couldn't persuade Bernard, and if Lucius were to intervene, Bernard would usually give in. Hence, Giselle deliberately brought up Lucius to intimidate

Theo.

The messy blankets and lingering smell of intimacy made Theo quickly realize what happened in the room earlier.

Although Theo had experienced many ups and downs, he was rather taken aback at that moment. He wondered if Bernard finally remembered Hera.

Douglas: "Boss keeps asking me for her information. Theo, have you confirmed anything?

Samson: "No news yet? @Theo"
