"Let's go" He holds her seeing she wasn't going to take his hand. "What of Adam? Is he still alive?"

"We have to go, I can't take you far away but we have to get out of here"

Nathaniel runs his hand through his hair, Frustrated. He knew it wouldn't take too long before Adam noticed someone had broken into the cell and taken Alexandra away. There are so many bodies so it would be conspicuous.

"Come on let's go" Nathaniel holds her and together they escaped to a secret place.

Alexandra gawked at him mortified. She had not expected to see him but yet again Nathaniel appeared like a knight and shining armor and swept her off her feet again.

She wanted to embrace him, love him, and kiss him but Alexandra's failure in her past life and Nathaniel's distrust made her she couldn't just smile.noveldrama

"How did you know I was here?"

"When I learned you had escaped, I hated myself and I wanted to help you. Why didn't you tell me?"

Alexandra arched up her brow at him, she couldn't tell what he was implying. "Tell you what?"

"I know about your rebirth," Adams told her.

There was certainly no need to hide it from her, she kept it away from him for a purpose and now he found out. He was going to let her know, that way she would know that he was going to stay by her side.

"You what?" Alexandra's eyes widened. "How?"

"A Young man came to me and told me everything"

Alexandra was shocked to hear that someone else had appeared to him. He had let him in on her secret. It wasn't a secret but he told her about her rebirth which

could only mean one thing.

"What did he tell you?"

"Everything Alexandra"

Nathaniel stared at her, he wasn't sure what was going on. The way the man had talked about her had annoyed him into thinking they shared a special kind of relationship.

But now, the look on her face told him that she was shocked which could only mean they aren't friends or close friends at that.

"He told you everything?" She asked as though she hadn't heard her the first time.

"Yes, is there a problem?"

"No" She whispered.

Now she was aware someone knew about her rebirth, he would probably know the reason why it happened.

"Where did you meet him?"

"In the woods. Why are you asking? Do you know him?"

Alexandra attempts to say something but the words were trapped in her throat and wouldn't come out. She trembles, scared. She didn't know what was going to happen now someone knows about her. What it means for her and more especially, she wanted to know who this person was.

Nathaniel realises the look in her eyes and quickly engulfed her tightly, his hot breath fans her face calming her down. Nathaniel gently strokes her back, and Andra inhales his scent.

That was all she needed until Nathaniel breaks away, running his hand through her hair, staring into her eyes with warmth and she stared back. She couldn't quite decipher the emotions in his eyes. She couldn't trust it since he choose to doubt her.

"Don't worry Alexandra, I will try my best to protect you. I won't let anything happen to you" He trails his finger on her face.

Thinking about Nathaniel's distrust, Alexandra gently removes his hand from her face. Thinking about her last life along with his distrust made it impossible for her to believe that he could love her. She couldn't believe that her love story was going to have a good ending. Everyone around has made her feel that way and now she just couldn't embrace the words Nathaniel said to her even though they had sounded so sweet in her ears.

"What's wrong?"

"Stop it" she whispered

"Did I say something wrong?" Nathaniel gently lifts her jaw. He pulls her closer, grazing gently against their cheek. She moans softly.

"Nathaniel"

"I missed you so much, you have no idea"

"Please stop Nathaniel" Alexandra runs her hand through her hair, something that has turned into a habit. She was reluctant to believe those words no matter how good they sounded in her ear. It tingles her and somehow sent butterflies crawling up her stomach.

He was perfect and so was his touch, those hands when it was on her made her want to go crazy, so crazy that she wanted to get intimate with him just as he desired to get intimate with her as well.

Even though he hasn't said it, she could see it in his eyes, and the way he touched her, was different. Something she was sure he hadn't done to any other woman.

"I understand what you mean" Nathaniel wasn't a fool, he could tell she was couldn't believe him completely and he couldn't blame her at all. "I'm not going tell you Alexandra to trust me or what I am telling you right now"

"Nathaniel" She whispered, the tip of her nose brushing against his and she

moans yet she couldn't give herself up for him to control.

"I'm going to show that I meant every word I said to you"

"How do you intend to do that?"

"Action. By my action Alexandra"

With a single look into his eyes. She could tell he was not bluffing. Nathaniel was

a man of his word and just as he had said it, he was going to do it, although she doesn't know how.

"I will make sure my action says a lot. It will make you understand my words"

"You know what your words mean right?"

"Of course, I know what it means and I'm not going back on my words" He assured her.

Alexandra just stared at him, she couldn't say another word.

When Adam realizes that someone had broken into the jail and taken Alexandra. He could tell it was no other than Nathaniel. Overhearing where they were hiding, Adam decided at that moment that it was time to put an end to all of this.
