The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

Fear swept through her as she watched the sudden change in his eyes. Adam seemed like a wild dog let loose and that creeped her out for a moment.

The last thing she wanted to know was what makes him see right through her, even though she was scared.

"Yes," A deep breath and she calms down. The motion did little to calm her down, Alexandra was standing with her nemesis with no one to come to her aid so she couldn't be alright.

"Fine you made your choice"

"And so?

"Well I have made my choice too"

She frowned as a sense of disquiet came over her for a moment. Knowing him for more than many years, his action didn't mortify her any longer. Adam was the devil himself and so his action would look everything like him.

"Have it your way, Alexandra"

"I'm not going to beg you, Adam"

"You're one feisty little girl, aren't you?"

She glared at him, only Nathaniel had the right to her a girl since he had claimed her as his. She was his girl and no one was allowed to call her that except permitted.

"Damn you for using such callous words on me"

"My bad" He smirked and she bites her lower lips angrily. The urge to strangle him hits her once again and it wouldn't be bad to do it but she was standing in the devil's court with his guards right behind her. She had no one, not even her wolf.

At that moment, Alexandra felt useless, she was an Alpha yet she couldn't help herself let alone her mother's relation.

"If only you weren't so stupid then you would sense that coming would be your death"

"Get on with it then" She admits, bored to be having this conversation again.

Death didn't fear her, what she was scared about was leaving Nathaniel without at least getting the chance to say goodbye.

"Brazen, I like that about you"

"Shut your mouth and get it down" She shut her eyes and waited for it. She waited to feel that sharp pain sting and eeze her heart like it did In the past but it

never came even after a long moment.

"What are you doing?"

She opens her eyes. "Did you chicken out?"

"Your death will serve me no purpose but it will certainly serve a purpose for a certain Beta"noveldrama

Alexandra breathes sharply, unfazed. Although she had not asked, she has been wondering when Olivia was going to make an entrance.

"You don't say"

"You should have seen how she searched the woods looking for you"

"How thoughtful"

She could only thank Nathaniel for taking her out of the woods when darkness took over her that day. If it hadn't been for him, she was sure she would have turned into a corpse.

"Do I have to thank her?"

"How arrogant!" He was furious, Adam had expected her to get down on her knees and plead with him not to take her to Olivia and he would have considered but instead, she rejected him and belittled his words.

"Were you expecting a thank you or a what?"

"I was expecting a please" He pressed harder

"I thought as much" She nods assuringly. "Well that's not happening"

He could see she lacked intuition and wasn't going to give in to his demand no matter what he says and that made his blood boil. He was going to teach her a lesson she was never going to forget.

"You are going to regret this"

"The only thing I regret is not killing you when I had the chance to" She fires back.

Adam quickly grabs her hand, dragging her along, the guards make way for them to walk past.

Signaling his desire to end her once and for all, Adam pushes her against the ground and she falls on Olivia's boots. He leaves them.

Recognizing those boots, Alexandra glares at the body of the woman looking down at her with a bow and an arrow in her hand.

She was learning archery, Alexandra told herself.

"Alexandra Guerrero, we meet again," Olivia said as Alexandra lifts her face. She would recognize her anywhere, even her scent sold her out, didn't she know that?

"We should stop meeting like this, is getting boring" Alexandra rises staring into the eyes of her rival. The woman who was making her way to be the Luna but she wasn't going to let her.

"Should we?" Olivia

"Aren't you getting tired?"

"I was actually" Olivia admits looking at the bow and arrow in her hands. "This hasn't been fun"

"Archery? You've always sucked at it, why bother?"

Olivia scoffed, despite being away for days, she was still a pain in the neck and had no filter.

"Yea I did, didn't I?"

"You did. You suck at everything"

"You sure know how to bring it to the table, don't you?"

"Why wait? We waited for too long, I was hoping we could speed this up a little bit" Alexandra told her.

There was no trace of fear in her eyes. Having this conversation again was boring and so was staying close to Olivia and Adams. If they were going to kill her, they better do it once and for all except of course, they are hoping for something she isn't sure about.

"You are always in a haste" Olivia smiles and quickly releases an arrow into the air, it misses the bullseye.

"See! You suck" Alexandra said and Olivia scowled at her. "Give it up except if you want to continue to embarrass yourself" Alexandra adds.

Olivia looks around and sees the guards looking at her, giggling.

"You did this" Olivia glared.

"No Olivia, you did this" Alexandra smirked. "You probably don't realize it yet but

no matter what you do, you will suck at it" A satisfactory smile appears on Alexandra's face causing Olivia to glare at her, furiously
