Chapter 152: Invasion
Hiding around since she arrived at the pack, Alexandra couldn't figure out a way
to get to the pack prison where she was sure Adam and Olivia had kept her
mother's relationship.
She'd seen some guards parading around the prison while taking shifts as though they were guiding criminals who revolted against the Alpha's position.
Seeing how her mother's relations are been treated, Alexandra furrowed her, boiling with intense rage. If only she could wolf out then she wouldn't hesitate to pounce on the guards the moment her feet touched the dry soil of the Guerrero prison.
This is insane, staking out and watching the guards as though they would ever leave the entrance of the cell unguarded. Alexandra decided to sneak into their cells, the heavily guarded tall walls where lights never go off. She had said to herself but Alexandra could only think for a split second as her claws already found their way running up the wall and jumping over the fence like some stunt
woman.
Infiltrating the prison walls, Alexandra had stepped above those high walls that she didn't think she would ever cross over as fear engulfed her at First. But now she had passed through those walls, those fears were gone, or were they even there? Alexandra could barely make out but what she was sure of was the woman standing in between the devil and the deep blue sea wasn't scared at all.
When she had thought through her plan, two things were bound to happen, she was either going to stay in hiding all through waiting for the news of the death of all her mother's clan or she was going to die saving them.
Picking the latter, Alexandra had infiltrated those huge walls, and fear was gone in just a split second, what was staring at the headshot of Adam Hawthorn was a woman madder than hell, who holds no bounds and didn't care about going the extra mile just to get what she wants.
By the end of this, she was going to make sure that her name never evades their mind, that way even death would no longer last for a moment but it will be the bitterness that sticks to the tongue forever like an erudite.noveldrama
If eyes could kill, Alexandra was sure Adam would have slumped to the ground like a log of wood, as she glared at his headshot that held up a grin menacingly. It was as though he could not only see her and was mocking her but Alexandra didn't want to pay attention to those deceitful eyes.
Retreating from the hall moves further towards the cell where she had a feeling her mother's relationship was kept.
Although the prison was big and could hold more than 100 criminals, Alexandra was sure, they would be held in cells at right-wing A, it was where certain offenders who were on a countdown to their lives were kept. Having had this encounter in the past, Alexandra didn't need to think twice to get her feet moving towards the right wing, and there it was, the name at the top flashing down at her, calling unto her to step further inside.
Alexandra quickly ducks around in a corner, she was so thankfully the lights
although turned on were covered in cobwebs and smoke emitted from the heavy cigarette that the guard smoked to keep themselves warm at night since they had no woman to please them.
Glancing around as though she had heard something, Alexandra runs her hand through her now, medium blond wig, she had gotten a wig at the salon down the street where humans operated and didn't care about what was going on in the supernatural world. Alexandra had thought moving around in wigs would be easier and wouldn't draw a lot of attention to herself and that worked up until she noticed that there was no guard stationed at the entrance of the cell.
It wasn't so much like Adam to leave the cell unguarded especially the wing she was sure held her mother's relations. Did he grow tired of waiting for her to return? Does he think she died in the woods that day? Whatever it was Alexandra didn't care and neither did she want to find out.
It was certainly not important, but what was important was getting her feet moving further into the cells and rescuing her relations. Alexandra adored herself like a queen. Not that she looked nor acted like a queen, but given the circumstances, who would have thought she would pull this off and head straight toward the right cell?
She had even crossed through the fence, most people never made it this far, they would have been found out by the guards at the gate and it would mean their death. Not just their death, Adam and Olivia would make sure no traces of their bodies are found since the prison was built underground the former school for werewolves.
It was the best place to build a prison that could hold your enemies and trap their screams while you torture them, ripping them apart while having the pleasure of their departed selves.
No guard meant easy entry and easy entry would mean rescue and getting the hell outta here.
Taking a deep breath, cracks her neck, the glee on her face couldn't be contained any longer. Once she rescued her mother's relation, Alexandra was going to leave Guerrero's pack, but where would she settle? She couldn't go back to the crimson pack, not because she had escaped but certainly because Nathaniel didn't trust her.
That left a hole in her heart and she doubt she would ever recover from it. But all that figuring wouldn't be good doing here right where she was trapped with her enemies.
Shoving the feeling aside, Alexandra takes slow yet calculated steps inside, as she walked past the entrance doors, tiny goose bumps appear on her skin but Alexandra pushed them aside and entered, and the lights brightened up further.
What do you think?
