The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

"Olivia Guerrero is capable of murder trust me, Nathaniel"

Without a doubt, Nathaniel could tell she was telling the truth. It stared right at him when he visited the Guerrero mansion and watched Veronica try to kill Alexandra, if he hasn't been there, she would have been dead and buried leaving him shattered and empty because no one would tell him the mystery behind her death until he begins an investigation.

"Was that why Veronica attempted to murder you?" As the words left his mouth, memories invade her mind causing her muscles to grow weak and Nathaniel quickly holds her, seeing right through her.

Veronica may be dead but her actions have left a mark on Alexandra's body and she couldn't get over it, it drained her every time she remembered it.

"Nathaniel" she whispered

"Yes"

"Hold me tight please" Alexandra buries her face in his chest and he smiled. Alexandra was his a long time ago and he couldn't be mad at her forever, even though he wouldn't agree with all of her ways, he couldn't say that she was the one to blame for all of this. They started it and she was merely defending herself since she isn't some oak tree that doesn't move even when someone is trying to cut it down.

"You are not doing the wrong thing" He whispers

"Emm.."

"I forgive you, Alexandra"

Untangling her arms around him, she locks eyes with him.

"I forgive you, maybe I already did, not sure" he states realizing how deep the hatred ran for them.

A smile creeps on Alexandra's face, she couldn't bear to be apart from him any longer, having been in thoughts all through the night while he was still mad at her had made her slim down a little.

"Thank you"

"You don't have to thank me Alexandra" His eyes linger on her lips and he attempts to kiss her but on second thought places the kiss by the corner of her mouth. He may have forgiven her but in his heart, Nathaniel still believes that she was in love with Adam Hawthorn and nothing was going to change how he feels. So he couldn't bear kissing her while she had another man buried in her thoughts.

After Alexandra disappeared from the Guerrero pack, no one has heard from or seen her. The Guerrero pack has begun whispering whether she was dead or had run away, hiding away from her duties as the Alpha of the pack.

During this time, Adam and Olivia had returned to the pack, they had gotten what they wanted; destroying the relationship between Alexandra and Nathaniel and dealing with her.

Although they knew she had gotten away while they attacked her the other day in the woods, Olivia had attempted to chase after her and finish her off but Adam stopped her.

He already knew that they had done greater damage to her and she may not make it out of the woods, he had decided not to chase after her since she wouldn't be returning anytime soon and he would have to take advantage of the situation and take what belonged to him. Everything he wanted would be his in her absence and he didn't hesitate to get it done.

While fighting with Alexandra, Adam sensed that she wasn't easy to take down, even without her wolf, Alexandra was still one of the strongest werewolves in the pack and Adam was scared. He couldn't beat her during the ceremony and also failed to beat her in the woods, she was alive, he could sense that but he was going to be one step ahead of her.

That was how he played and he wasn't ever going to stop since being the Alpha has always been his dream and with her absence he achieved it.

As soon as he returned to Guerrero's pack, Adam, Olivia, and Bernard assembled the entire pack in the council and there he had accused Alexandra of betraying and trampling upon the existence of the mate bond. This came as a surprise to the pack especially those who knew little about her, Alexandra wasn't friendly but they didn't take her as that sort of person.noveldrama

Adam didn't stop there, he knew exactly what he wanted and he was going to go the extra mile just to get it, that way Alexandra would never return to Guerrero's pack and he would be the Alpha as long as he lived. Adam had also informed the pack that Alexandra had gotten together with Nathaniel and him at the same time.

Hearing that shuddered the pack members and they didn't doubt his word's any longer since some of them had heard Nathaniel and Adam talking on the day of the Alpha election ceremony.

Bernard who had been present and had plotted together with Adam and Olivia also told the pack that Adam was telling the truth. Having seen a good chance to ruin Alexandra for good, Bernard didn't hesitate, he didn't for once feel as though he needed to protect his daughter as he talked to the Guerrero pack.

While confirming Adam's words, he also told them about her mother, ranting about the dirty bloodline of Alexandra and her mother and that made the pack trust Adam completely.

As the memories played in his head, he smiles, the glee on his face couldn't be contained as he remembered the day, he had been declared Alpha of the Guerrero pack.

"Alpha Adam Hawthorn" smiling down at his reflection through the mirror, Olivia enters.

"Whoever would make you Alpha didn't think you would be too hot for this position"

Turning around, he widens his smile. "Look where been hot got me"

"You got what you wanted"

"Yes and now you will get what you want"

Smiling sinisterly, she licks her lips thrilled to be the one who would stand next to him while they lead the pack together.

"This is just the beginning, you have no idea what I have in store for the pack

once everything is settled" He smiles sinisterly, staring deep into her eyes.
