Chapter 532 I Will Beat You to Death
"Hector, why are you mad?" Yvette was enraged when Hector started shouting at her. "Your grandmother stood by and did nothing. It was her fault!"
"Helping you was a favor, not an obligation. For someone as twisted as you, what's wrong with her choosing to look the other way?" Hector retorted.
He added, "You old hag. Why didn't you reflect on yourself why my grandmother didn't help you out? If you're worth helping, do you think someone as kind as her would've refused?"
He abandoned all sense of civility and hurled insults without restraint.
"The mess that the Jenkins family created dragged so many innocent people into
it. How could you have the nerve to think you're innocent?
"If only you had died in the fire back then! If you did, Natalie wouldn't have suffered so terribly at the hands of you lunatics!"
"Hector, I'll beat you to death!" Yvette grabbed the cane beside her and swung it at Hector.
But before it could land, Hector grabbed it and snatched it from her. "Oh, you're trying to hit me? I'll beat you to death first, you old hag!"
Hector swung the cane back at her but controlled his strength. After all, he wasn't trying to kill her.
"Guards! Guards!" Yvette yelled, but instead of her men, Marcus and Natalie appeared.
"Yvette Jenkins, so you were behind this," Marcus said as he stared coldly at Yvette.
Natalie stepped forward and took the cane from Hector's hands. "You worked hard, Hector."
Charlene got up. "Natalie, why are you two here? Weren't you going to the prison?"
"Halfway there, Hector sent me his location," Natalie answered kindly. "Oh, he also called me, but I didn't say anything."
The moment Hector stepped into the courtyard, he had sent his location to Natalie and started recording. At the same time, he secretly dialed her number.
As soon as Natalie saw the location and received the call, she remained silent. She and Marcus told Noah to turn the car around and drive straight here.
Once they were outside, they didn't rush in. Instead, they sat in the car, listening to the entire conversation between Hector and Yvette.
The moment Yvette called for help, Natalie was worried that Hector might get hurt. So, she immediately stormed in with Marcus. As for Yvette's men, Marcus' men had already neutralized them without making a sound.
For now, Marcus, Natalie, and Hector had the upper hand.
"Yvette, meet with my grandfather," Marcus demanded, staring straight at her.
Though she was younger than Charles, she looked much older. After all, someone consumed by hatred for years and had to be constantly scheming would naturally be under immense pressure.
A person filled with resentment would naturally not look good.
"When did you call Natalie? How did I not notice?" Charlene was dumbfounded. "I was with you the whole time! I didn't even see you take out your phone!"
Hector replied coldly, "Are you stupid or something?"noveldrama
If Charlene had known what he was doing, would he have the opportunity to hear Yvette spill everything?
Charlene was speechless and her face flushed before turning pale
Yvette glanced at the yard. It was filled with bodyguards from the Holden family, with Noah leading them.
Elijah followed behind Marcus and was staring at her with eyes filled with disdain. He was waiting for Marcus' order so he could unleash hell on Yvette.
"You want me to meet Charles?" Yvette sneered as she locked eyes with Marcus. Then, she chuckled mockingly. "Who the hell does he think he is? He's not worthy of speaking to me."
"Elijah," Marcus said as he took a step back.
Elijah then stepped forward.
"You old hag, who the hell do you think you are?" he snapped. "You look like a pig that couldn't take care of itself. Why is it that when you speak, it reeks of sewage?
"You're just a venomous hag with a filthy mouth. Since you've got so much free time, why don't you go lick the toilet bowls down the road?"
"Shut up!" Yvette roared. "Marcus, is this how you teach your men to speak? How dare he say such things to me?"
"Old hag, don't wrongfully accuse others. What I say is my business. What does it have to do with Mr. Holden?"
Elijah stepped forward and
continued, "When it comes to spewing nonsense, no one comes close to you. Look at you, you look normal yet you're filled with rotten thoughts. When humans were evolving, did you somehow evolve backward?"
"Marcus-"
Yvette couldn't refute Elijah, so she shouted at Marcus instead.
But Marcus didn't even spare her a glance.
Yvette had meticulously planned everything, dragging innocent people into her schemes. The Langleys had drained Natalie's blood multiple times but now, Yvette was complaining after being verbally humiliated.
Marcus finally understood why Hector's grandmother didn't help her out.
"You old hag, why are you calling for
Mr. Holden? know he's
vel
devastatingly handsome, but you already have a foot inside your grave You should stop being delusional. After all, Mr. Holden belongs to Ms. Walker."
Elijah stared at Yvette, and then continued, "Didn't you think you're amazing? You spent years orchestrating this, manipulating the Holdens, the Walkers, and the Langleys in the palm of your hands.
"When you saw everyone suffering, that gave you a great sense of fulfillment, didn't it? Not only are you sick, but you're rotten to the core.
"Since Vivian burned down the Jenkins residence, why didn't you dig up her grave and punish her? You decided to target innocent babies instead. Do you think you're any better than Vivian?
"In fact, you're even more vile and vicious than Vivian. At the very least, she targeted her own family. But you, you went after innocent people!
"With all the evil you've done, had Yvette's ghost ever haunt you at night? Did she come to claim your life?
"But let me guess, someone as vicious as you probably wouldn't be afraid. After all, even demons would bow in submission before you.
"Are you happy with how things turned out? Why don't you guess what's in store for you?
"You have no proof about the fire at the Jenkins residence, but we have proof of you swapping the babies, brainwashing Cassie, as well as ordering the Langleys to drain Ms. Walker's blood.
"Why don't you figure out which prison you'd like to stay in? We'll make sure you get in. Consider it our special service.
"Now that we're letting you meet Mr. Holden Senior, we're giving you a chance to explain things. How dare you claim that he's unworthy?"
Elijah kept on going, not giving Yvette a chance to speak at all.
What do you think?
