The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Frank nodded. "That's fine. I can see that you mean no harm, but tell me, why are you so concerned with that snake?"

The freak explained, "It's a thorn viper, and even its scales are poisonous. I noticed it while I was passing by and was going to kill it. I didn't expect the misunderstanding."

"You're quite knowledgeable!" Frank smiled.

The freak threw his hands up. "That's pointless, as you've defeated me so soundly, but I don't understand. Why stay in a place like this when you're that strong?"

Hana laughed before Frank could answer. "You've misunderstood-he's not staying here. In fact, he's showing off and basically doing the same thing you are."

Hana nodded. "You're a hero of justice, no? That's what he is too!"

"You have my respect, sir!" The freak bowed his head at Frank.

"You're exaggerating. So, do you have a name?"

"I'm Zark Chomsky of Spiritron School!"

Frank had no idea what that was and turned toward Hana.

Hana smiled. "Right, it's probably not too important to catch your attention... I am aware though, and it's also thanks to Moxxi and Jada's investigation. They are the nemesis of Riverarch Sect, who are trying to incite infighting in Zephyr Hall!"

"Zephyr Hall, you say?" Zark exclaimed in surprise. "Could you both be members of Zephyr Hall?"

Hana quickly shook her head. "Don't get the wrong idea. I am from Zephyr Hall, but not him. I'm Hana Pearce-as it happens, I'm the chief of Zephyr Hall."

"What?!" Zark was even more shocked.

While Zephyr Hall was not as impressive as Spiritron School, they were still a major fraternity.

But to think that the chief was young... and a woman at that!

Bowing his head respectfully at Hana, he exclaimed, "You really are unassuming, Madam Pearce! By the way, may I ask if this gentleman belongs to a sect?"

Hana grinned. "He's way more impressive. Heard of Mystic Sky Guild? He's the chief!"

Zark smiled in wry amusement but shook his head-he had never heard of it at

all.

"Well, it's alright if you don't know of it," Hana explained, seeing Zark's confusion. "Surely you've heard rumors of a man leading a group that enforces order upon Shagan from the darkness. That's him!"

Zark realized with a start at Hana's explanation. "You're the leader? And here I thought my training was lacking. But losing to you is simply natural... no one is a match against you, after all!"

Seeing that Zark actually knew the rumors very well, Frank chuckled in amusement, as he should have been relatively anonymous.

"So there really were rumors? What's everyone's impression of me?"

Zark said, "You wield strength with reason, and everyone says having you in

Shagan is a blessing. After all, there are plenty of unsavory groups that we would never have defeated until you came!"

Frank smiled and nodded, and walked up, treating Zark's injuries right then.

As he finished and Zark stood up, he was left staring at Frank in disbelief.

He knew Frank was strong, but to think that he was a healer too!

"I hope you would really forgive me for my mistake," he said in apology again. "And if I may, several schools like hours are planning getting together for a martial exchange in a few days. Would you happen to be interested?"

"Of course we're interested!" Hana answered for Frank. "Leave a number. We'll be there!"

"Okay!"

Zark was just asking out of politeness-personally, he would like Frank to attend the event but did not really hold out much hope since his group was no different from ants to him.

It was therefore shocking that Frank did not belittle them. He really deserved all the credit!

Nonetheless, after Zark left, Frank was glaring at Hana. "I don't like to show off."
