The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella)

Chapter 1716

Mirabella had driven all over town to find that perfect clay pot, only to have it smashed to bits by these guys? Seriously?

She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. But just a moment later, the fire in her eyes was unmistakable. Forget staying calm! She swung her foot, catching the guy with the gun right on the wrist. Pain shot through him, and he dropped the gun with a clatter.

His face twisted in shock, and before he knew it, Mirabella kicked him in the chest, sending him flying backward and crashing to the ground. There was no way he was getting up anytime soon.

The rest of the crew didn't fare much better. In no time, they were all on the ground, groaning in agony. The fear in their eyes was palpable as they looked at Mirabella.

Who would've guessed that this seemingly delicate woman could kick like a wrecking ball? Every blow felt like it was knocking their insides around.

And the kicking? That was just the beginning. She had taken apart their guns like it was nothing. Her skills were downright scary! Mirabella stood over the shattered remains of the pot, her face a mask of fury. She stared at the mess for a solid thirty seconds before slowly turning her head.

The six guys lying on the ground went dead silent, like they were suddenly at death's door.

Without a hint of emotion, Mirabella said, "Five minutes."

All of them shivered in unison. Finally, the guy who had broken the pot managed to speak up, "I'll go get you a new one right now."

Despite the pain, he hauled himself up and limped off toward the market. They had followed Mirabella here, so they knew the route she'd taken.

Five minutes later, he came back, panting and holding three clay pots. "Here you go, boss. These are for you."

Mirabella's expression finally softened. She took one of the pots, satisfied, and started to leave. But after just a few steps, she paused and slightly tilted her head.

The men, who felt like they'd just dodged a bullet, almost collapsed again at her movement.

"Boss, we were just following orders today," the lead guy blurted out, terrified she might change her mind and finish them off. "It was the Count who sent us. We don't know anything else." Mirabella's eyes flickered with surprise.

She had assumed Santos was behind this. But why would the Count's people be

after her, especially since she was new to Merrywoods?

Mirabella narrowed her eyesnoveldrama

thoughtfully. Not able to piece it t

together, she decided to let it go, simply saying, "You'd better keep today's events to yourselves."

In Chester, her reputation as a lady needed to stay intact.

The men nodded eagerly.

Mirabella turned away and left for real this time.

Once she was completely out of sight, the men finally felt like they had truly escaped death.

"Emmitt, why'd you tell her the Count sent us?" one of them asked.

The lead guy looked at the scattered gun parts. "Do you really think an ordinary woman could handle us like that?"

They might not have been the absolute best, but they were definitely top fighters. Yet in front of her, they were like sitting ducks.

He was sure she hadn't even used her full strength.

lat

If she had it wouldn't have just been dismantled guns and them sprawled out on the ground. That woman hadn't even considered them a challenge from the start.
