Chapter 63
The hustling and bustling of the human world never cease to captivate Zayne as he visited San Francisco one more time. He gasped at the fascinating cars, the colourful billboards and the long driveway.
It's been years since he last visited the human world, and he had come again to visit his old friend.
"Oceanview's club." He muttered to himself with a smile. He grabbed a cellphone and threw a call across to someone who seem special judging by how happy he looked.
"If you are a minute late, you will pay a huge fine for that." He said to his friend. He slid his phone into his back pocket and took in a deep breath.
"Time for some enjoyment." He stretched his arms and yawned.
"All these years as the Alpha of the red moon pack has nearly made me forgot the life and joy of this part of the world." As he walked into the club, over ten beautiful ladies ran to him.
"Zayne! It's been years, why don't you visit us more often?" Marie, the most beautiful lady in the bar said to him. He stared into her eyes, captivated by her beautiful and stunning appearance. Her eyeballs were crystal blue, complimenting her ever-radiating skin. Her perfectly shaped hips served as a resting platform for her long dark hair. She was the perfect definition of a beauty.
"Zayne? Why are you staring at me like that? You are making me shy." Marie blushed. She sat on his laps, running her fingers on his face.
"Isn't it because of your stunning beauty? You made me forgot who I was in an instant." Zayne mumbled, causing Marie to break into a laughter.
"You are so funny." She replied to him. She patted his cheeks, smiled and planted a soft kiss on his lips.
"How is that? How about I warm your bed tonight?" Marie offered, leaving Zayne a bit stunned. Marie was the top stripper in the club, and it will cost thousands of dollars just to hear her sing. Her voice was deemed the most beautiful in the whole of San Francisco. Truth to be told, listening to her voice alone is enough to send calming waves down one's spine.
Zayne was surprised that Marie was actually offering to spend the night with her despite her high value in the club.
"Stop staring at me that way, you are making me feel embarrassed, more embarrassed than the day my mother brought a malfunctioning remote that I should fix for her in front of the whole class. You know what? It was just some batteries missing in the remote. I couldn't have been more embarrassed." Marie said, and laughed at her own joke.
Zayne also accompanied her in her laughter;
"That's hilarious." He laughed.
"I know right." She sighed, rolling her eyeballs in the air.
"So why are you here?" Marie asked him, resting her gaze on his lips.
"Oh! I am here to catch up with an old friend, he should be here soon." He mumbled, glancing at his wristwatch to check the time.
"Frederick?" Marie uttered, while Zayne furrowed his brows in surprise.
"How did you know that?" He asked her.
"Oh no! Don't do that, please. You guys are our frequent customer that year. How about I get you some drinks while you wait for your friend?"
"Sure. That will be great." Zayne smiled.
"I will be right back." She got up from Zayne's laps and headed towards the bar. Zayne watched her bosom move rhythmically as she walked away. He was still so immersed in his sightseeing that he didn't realize when Frederick got to his side.

"Why don't you just have her for the night?" Frederick mocked, drawing Zayne out of his fantasies.
"Frederick! When did you get here?" Zayne asked in surprise.noveldrama
"Well, not as long as you've been looking at her bossom, you know?" Frederick smiled, while Zayne laughed.
"Alright man. Sit, it's been a while, we should have things to catch up on." Zayne offered him a seat, and as Frederick was about to sit down, Marie returned with some drinks.
"Oh Frederick, welcome." She greeted him, both exchanging pleasantries. "Shouldn't you guys head to one of the private rooms and have your discussions there?" Marie offered, and they both considered her advice.
"Thanks dear." Zayne mumbled, grabbed the drinks and headed towards the room. Marie watched them walk away and sighed.
'I hope they notice that.' she thought to herself, and her expression suddenly turned moody. Her life in the club had been hell over the past three years, and this was her only chance to escape.
Zayne and Frederick settled in one of the rooms, chatting and laughing with each other.
"Shouldn't you have a mate by now?" Frederick asked him, gulping down his wine before settling his gaze on Zayne.

"I had, but I rejected her." Zayne sighed.
"Really? Why?"
"You can't blame me man, she is an orphan, and all of her previous mates died mysteriously. I couldn't risk my own head." Zayne replied to him.
"Ohh! I get now. That reminds me, my neighbor recently saved a lady by the lake side, and you know that's the lake that connects the Werewolves' world with the human world. I treated her, and I found out that she is a werewolf, but I kept it a secret from the old man." Frederick shrugged.
"Really? What's her name? And can you tell the pack she is from?" Zayne asked him, resting his back on the sofa and gulped down his drink.
"While diagnosing her, she said her name is Sara, but I don't know which pack she is from." Frederick replied, while Zayne's eyes bulged.
"Sara?" He yelled, taking Frederick by surprise.
"Yeah yeah...what's wrong?" Frederick asked, confused by Zayne's reaction.
"She is my mate!"
"What?"
Marie who had been eavesdropping on their conversation staggered and almost fell to the ground. Her heart hammered and her chest tightened.
"They are not humans?" She mumbled to herself, her eyes darted sideways as her soul begged for answers. Just as she racked her brain further, an idea struck her mind, and she smiled. Now that she knows their secret, they have no choice but to bow to her biddings.
