Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1129

Leo replied, "Just thinking about how amazing my partner is."

"What's so amazing about them?" Anya teased, waiting eagerly for his answer.

Leo shrugged, "Everything."

Anya playfully pouted, sulking a bit as she ate, "Chad, I can already score 90 on my driving theory test."

"Once you hit over 90 ten times, then you can book your test," he teased.

After dinner, Leo and Anya headed to the kitchen to tidy up. "Chad, what were you up to this morning?"

"Just hanging out with some friends," he replied casually.

Leo loaded the dishwasher while Anya wiped down the counters. "Chad, I lost some money on the stocks I bought," she admitted with a sigh.

Leo remained unfazed, "It's just a loss, we can handle it."

"I lost a few thousand," Anya confessed, feeling the morning's frustration return as she recalled her interrupted study session.

Leo offered reassurance, "There's no such thing as only winning in the stock market. Even the pros face losses sometimes."

While they chatted in the kitchen, Leo's phone rang. He quickly washed his hands and answered, "Hey, Tony?"

"Congrats! What's the plan?" Leo seemed genuinely excited, "I'll check with my partner, and we can come if she's free."

After hanging up, Anya came over to wipe her hands, "Chad, what's going on?"

Leo made a little room for her, "Ms. Anya, Tony's treating us to dinner tomorrow night. He landed a role in a new TV series as the third lead. He's inviting us over. Are you free?"

Anya hesitated, "Chad, isn't the invite for your roommates? Would it be okay if I came along?"

"Why not? You're practically living with us except at night, and you see them almost every day. If you're free, come with me."

Anya's face lit up with a smile, "Then I'm free."

That afternoon, Leo stayed home to help Anya with her review.

Henry woke up from his nap and ran barefoot to the crib, burying blocks in the dirt instead of playing with them, scattering them everywhere. Just when everyone thought he didn't know how to play with blocks, Henry pulled up a stool and climbed into the crib on his own.

The always calm Wayne woke up too, and instead of crying, he tried to drink from the bottle his brother handed him, struggling to get any water.

Naomi rushed over, surprised to see the stool on the floor and both brothers in the crib, "Henry, sweetheart, how did you get in there?"

She quickly lifted the older boy out and then picked up the younger one just as he was about to cry.

That evening, when Andre and Mia got home, the family filled them in on all the mischief their son had been up to.

Mia figured it out, "Honey, your son can stack blocks, but he thinks they're too childish. He prefers playing with bigger things, like stools."

Since Henry had stopped wearing diapers during the day, Andre had been teaching him how to use the toilet properly. After he got the hang of it, Mia bought him a children's potty,But he found it too childish and kicked it away. Now, whenever he needed to go, he would cry and raise his hands, wanting to be held.

It got to the point where someone had to accompany him to the bathroom everynoveldrama

time.

The little rascal also figured out how

to turn on the TV, though no one knew how. Hansen would wake up from his naps to find the TV on, usually showing a blue screen, clearly tampered with. It was fixed once, only for the screen to turn black the next day; fixed again, and by the third day, it was blue again.

After several instances, Hansen asked who kept breaking the TV. The maids shook their heads, the butler shook his head, even the adults shrugged in mystery.
