You desired me before
You desired me before
We owe each other nothing.
Days later, Quinn came back to California. Though she was sad to but she had no other options...
She headed straight to the Stones' Corporation immediately she left the airport. While on the way, she
asked her assistant for reports.
"Everything is okay. I managed everything well in your absence." Avie smiled.
Quinn nodded and turned her gaze outside the window.
"President, I don't know if I should tell you this," Avie said awkwardly..
"What is it? Go ahead." Quinn smiled.
"CEO Henry is getting married in a few weeks time." Avie said.
She was well aware of Quinn's relation with Henry. Though she felt nosey but she felt Quinn had to
know about it.
"Really? Okay." Quinn's short reply made Avie wonder if she did the right thing by informing her.
She focused on driving and didn't say a word anymore.
Quinn was deep in thoughts... He was finally getting married? That was great.
But why did she feel her heart clench in pain? She suddenly felt sad...
Why would she be?
It wasn't her business if Henry got married or not. It wasn't as if he was her lover or anything...
They got to the Corporation and Quinn headed to the VIP elevator meant for only the CEO.
She walked into her office and sat comfortably on the swivel chair.
Was she bothered by what Avie told her?
To be honest, she was a little bit bothered by it.
Her daughter's father was getting married, why wouldn't she be bothered?
Okay, okay... She wasn't fooling anybody.
She felt sad...
Yes, she was feeling sad.
She was human too, wasn't she?
Even though, they were never in an actual relationship, he was still the father of her child.
She remembered her mother's words...
She pushed the thoughts away.
He could do whatever he wanted...
When it came to status, Henry could no longer compare to her.
She was now above him in everything...
Even Kathleen wasn't fit to stand close to where she was.
Who was she?
Michelle Stone...

It was late at night, when Henry drove towards a private Island. He found out where Quinn lived from
his assistant's report.
Why would she chose such a place to live?
He got out of his car and walked over to the door. It was locked; the lights were also on.
It only meant one thing; she wasn't yet home.
That didn't matter, he was going to wait for her.
He had to know what she thought of him, tonight...
He had been deep in thoughts about her all day. He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep if he didn't see
her that night.
So... He patiently waited for her return...

Quinn got out of her car tiredly. She was really tired...
All she needed at that moment was to eat, freshen up and sleep...
She was surprised when she saw the last person she was expecting to see at her door.
Henry?
What was he doing here?
She wasn't going to say a word to him.
She moved past him and proceeded to unlock her door. Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
"Don't you think that's kind of rude?" Henry said behind her back.
She was startled, when did he get up?
"Get away from me, Henry." She snarled.
"Hey... That isn't the way to talk to your visitor." Henry chuckled.
Quinn didn't respond, she unlocked her door and headed inside. As she made to lock it, Henry blocked
her attempt.
"What are you doing?" Henry was surprised at her actions.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" Quinn retorted coldly.
She felt like smashing this bastard's head against the wall.
A jerk, that was what he was...
Henry didn't say a word but forcefully pushed the door back. Quinn lost her balance and almost fell but
Henry hurriedly caught her.
"Let go of me and the hell out of my villa." Quinn said with heat. She didn't even appreciate his efforts.
If anything, she felt disgusted by it.
"I won't. Are you really married?" Henry directly threw the question at her.
"Are you stupid? Or maybe dumb? I'm married of course." Quinn spat angrily.
Henry winced at her words; she had changed.
"Since you badly wanted to come inside, you can make yourself comfortable." Quinn spat without
warmth.
She made to head upstairs, when he held her back.
"Where do you think you are going?" He gripped her hand tightly.
Quinn turned to glare at him, she tried to drag her hand out of his but she couldn't, his grip was strong.
Henry pushed her on the couch and bent over her. She widened her eyes and instinctively made to get
up. But he pushed her back again.
"Do you know, I can make you regret what you are doing?" Quinn asked in fury.
"By withdrawing from the collaboration? Go ahead then. I will face the repercussions later. I want you."
Henry lowered his face to kiss her but she turned her face.
"What are you doing Quinn? Are you revolted by my presence? Do you remember how you used to
scream and moan under my in pleasure?" Henry continued saying.
Quinn suddenly felt disgusted at the sight of him.
Without warning, she raised her legs and kicked his groin. Henry shouted in pain and bent double.
"What did you do that for?! Are you out of your fucking mind!" Henry shouted furiously. He was truly
angered this time.
Quinn smirked.
"You must be a fool to think I'm still the same Quinn from eight years ago. In case you need a reminder,
you are no longer my boss. In fact our statuses are now the same." She got up from the couch and
stood to her full height.
Henry was still in pain; she had really kicked him hard.
"In fact, I can sue you for sexual harassment. I hope you know that? If there is nothing else, you may
leave, Mr Henry." Quinn gestured towards the door.
Mr Henry?
Did she just address him formally?
"And by the way, we don't owe each other anything, Mr Henry. The next you come here, I may get you
arrested." Quinn warned with a sharp glint in her eyes.
She needed to draw her clear line between the both of them.
He couldn't barge in and out of her life anytime he wished.
She wasn't so cheap...
