Salute To The General

Chapter 3507 Morgon

Immediately, elite Gods within the temple began to voice their opinions one after another.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

They were divided into two factions. One faction believed in the necessity of revenge and that they should act immediately and resolutely. They promptly organized a grand army, ready to launch a full-scale attack on Earth.

Another group, however, believed that they mustn't recklessly start a war. Their decision especially stemmed from the fact that Gryffen and Revent had both suffered losses on Earth. This was sufficient proof that Earth's strength was far greater than they had imagined. The population of Gods had always been scarce, and every life within that race was extremely precious.

Meanwhile, Earth was densely populated.

If war were to occur, even if the death ratio between the gods and humans were one to ten thousand, the gods would not accept it.

The factions for and against the war argued incessantly in front of Medille.

Medille couldn't help but feel a headache and spoke up impatiently. "Enough. I'm asking you all to hold a discussion, not an argument."

The God King was displeased, prompting elite Gods to quickly shut their mouths. Tranquility was restored in the temple.

However, even though everyone had stopped arguing, the issue of whether to invade Earth had not been resolved.

Out of necessity, Medille ordered, "Someone, go to Yarlmouth Hall and invite Elder Morgon for a council meeting."

Morgon, the Grand Elder of the Divine Realm, was the embodiment of wisdom.

If Medille was considered the God of Power in the Divine Realm, then Morgon was the God of Wisdom.

Once upon a time, Morgon was Medille's strongest right-hand man, aiding Medille in the eradication of several alien races.

However, Morgon clashed with Medille due to differing opinions on the matter of Gods suppressing the vampires. In a fit of anger, Medille expelled Morgon from the temple and assigned him to guard Yarlmouth Hall. Yarlmouth Hall was actually a mausoleum for the brave Gods who died in battle.

Medille was assigned to guard the mausoleum, which in reality, was akin to being banished to a cold, desolate place.

At that moment, Medille encountered a problem once again and couldn't help but think of his old subordinate. He even sent someone to invite Morgon back.

The Gods present at the scene

exchanged glances, thinking about the same thing. When in doubt, ask Morgon. His Majesty must have truly encountered a problem that he finds difficult to resolve. That's why he has asked Morgon to return and provide guidance.

"Elder Morgon has arrived!" someone shouted at the entrance of the temple.

Following that, a tall and thin elderly God walked in unhurriedly from outside.

His skin was a rich shade of brown, and his eyes were as dark as the space between the stars in the sky. No one could discern any emotion from his gaze, let alone fathom what thoughts were running through his mind.

He was dressed in a long gray robe adorned with mystical runes. His expression, stern yet not angry, commanded respect and instilled a sense of awe.

He was the Great Elder of the Gods, Morgon.

In the temple, all the elites bowed respectfully at Morgon.

With his head held high, Morgon strode all the way to Medille. He bowed respectfully and said, "Greetings, Your Majesty!"

Medille looked at his old friend, who seemed to have lost a lot of weight compared to before. He knew that Morgon had not been doing well while assigned to guard Yarlmouth Hall.

His gaze softened considerably, and he said lightly, "Morgon, you've arrived. Someone bring a seat for him."

Soon, a magnificent chair was brought over by two guards.

Morgon gave a slight nod, then sat down.

Medille began speaking. "Morgon, I asked you to return to the temple because I've encountered a problem that's hard for me to decide on. I'd like to hear your opinion. Would you be willing to analyze this situation for me?"

Everyone turned their gazes toward Morgon.

It was clear that Medille was worried. He had sidelined Morgon for some time. As such, when he sought advice from Morgon, he feared that Morgon might be unwilling to offer any counsel.

Morgon wore a calm expression,

speaking lightly, "Your Majesty, we have known each other for many years. Although I am your subject, we are also like brothers. It doesn't make sense for the younger brother to hold a grudge against the older brother after being rightfully punished. Moreover, as this matter pertains to the future of our race, I will do everything in my power to dispel your concerns."
