Cherise glanced up and found a well-mannered, clean-cut guy standing nearby. He was quite the looker, but there was something off-putting about being approached by a stranger. As she was about to decline, a cold, deep voice cut through the a 'Cherise can't drink. Sir, you've had a wasted trip"
Recognizing the voice, Cherise turned to see Morris indeed ther. "What brings you here?" she asked.
Morris strolled over to Cherise, gently tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. The gesture was intimate, but it didn't make Cherise uncomfortable.
"I was just having dinner and saw you. Thought I'd come say hi, Morris replied, his tone casual.
The man, witnessing Morris's familiarity with Cherise, realized there might be something special between them and was relieved he hadn't overstepped.
Feeling a bit intimidated, he raised his glass towards Morris and nodded respectfully. "So it's Mr. Chivers. My apologies for the intrusion. I won't disturb your dinner any further!"
Morris acknowledged the man with a nod, and the man quickly retreated to his seat.
From a distance, Steven and Leo observed the scene. "He's on the move and going to stake his claim!" Steven remarked.
Other men in the restaurant, who had been considering approaching Cherise, quelled their eagerness upon seeing Morris's arrival.
Once the man left, Morris politely nodded at Dora before naturally taking a seat next to Cherise.
The waiter, noticing Morris had sat down, promptly brought a set of utensils and a glass of red wine. Morris glanced at Cherise's empty steak plate and asked, "Cherise, was the steak here to your liking?" Cherise looked back at Morris and replied, "It was good, but not as good as yours."
Morris felt a swell of pleasure inside. The thought that Cherise missed something he made was surprisingly delightful. "You're always welcome to come to Unit 2602 whenever you crave it," he said. Dora, across from them, looked puzzled, thinking, 'Morris actually cooked for Cherise, and Unit 2602? She questioned, "Wait, what's Unit 2602?"
Seeing Dora's confusion, Cherise explained, "Mr. Chivers moved to Glenshire Gardens for convenience, Unit 2002, next to my door."
Dora put down her cutlery, staring at Morris, thinking. This man is unparalleled in his pride and beauty, yet his actions are so underhanded:

Morris signaled for Leo to keep an eye on her and then turned to Dora, taking a sip of his wine. "Ms. Xenakis, you seem to have some hostility towards me?"
Dora pondered for a moment before responding seriously, "Mr. Chivers, I don't care about your intentions towards Cherise, but I'll tell you this." Chapter 55
She went on. "If you hurt her in any way, even if you're the migly president of Chivers Group, I will fight you with everything I have. Even if it costs me my life!" Morris smiled faintly, "Cherise must be someone important to live the president of GlobalVision Group so concerned. Is she the person I'm looking for. Ms. Xenakis?" "No, she's not." Dora denied it quickly.
After hearing this, Morris smiled again, and then his expression turned serious. "No matter who Cherise is, I'm committed to her for life."
He added, "Call it infatuation or love at first sight, and I accept it. In this life, I will protect her, even if it costs me my life!"
Dora, after hearing this, said nothing more. At the same time, Cherise returned from the restroom.

Dora inwardly despised Morris, thinking, "This man has no limits when it comes to pursuing a girl. Cherise doesn't stand a chance against him.
She sighed and said, "I have some work to take care of at the company. Cherise, I'll leave you in Mr. Chivers's hands." With that, she seemed to warn Morris with a look before turning to leave.
