Chapter 33
Days passed and Alpha Leo said nothing to me.
I hear him walk into the room when I am already in bed and when I wake up, he is nowhere to be found.
I could not leave my room because the pack members were still against me, but fortunately, I have not heard from Sebastian for quite a while now.
I just woke up, ate, read novels and slept again. There was a time I craved this kind of life, but now that I had to do nothing but read, eat and sleep, I still felt empty.
If I wanted to be sincere to myself, I missed him. I missed Alpha Leo.
There was a knock on my door and I froze, wondering who it could be. I wanted it to be the Alpha. Even if he hated me now, I still wanted to see his face.
After a few minutes of hesitation and hoping that it was not Sebastian, I walked to the door and opened it.
Janice.
My heart sank. I was not expecting to see her and I was happy that she came.
"Janice, I called out in a teary voice and hugged her. I missed my friend.
pulled away and pointed to the room. "Please, come in."
She walked in, took a seat on the couch and I joined her.
I just looked at her and she looked back, saying nothing.
"Are you thinking of going back to Sebastian?" She asked, breaking the silence between us. "I know you no longer tell me things, but I will appreciate it if you will at least listen to the piece of advice I am about to give and before I give my advice, I need to know if you want to go back to Sebastian or not."
"I definitely don't want to go back to him." I looked away. "It is way more complicated than what it seems. The real question is if I can be forced to go back to him or not and even I cannot answer that question."
Janice gasped. "Is Sebastian forcing you to do all these things?"
"Janice, I understand that you mean the best for me, but can we talk about something else?"
"I came so we can talk about this. Your life can get ruined if you keep on associating with Sebastian and as your friend, I don't want your life to get ruined."
"I don't want yours to get ruined too and that's why I want you to stay out of this," I said sternly and then my eyes fell to the ground. "I just don't want to talk about Sebastian or the wrong things in my life. What I need now is to blow off steam. I need to know how things have been with you too. I really missed you."
"You want to know how things have been with you and you don't want to return the favor." Janice stood on her feet. "Since you feel you should not share your problems with me, then carry your burden yourself and don't talk to me until you have cut Sebastian off." She walked out of the room and I remained on the couch without bothering to stop her from leaving. I had to tell her what Sebastian was doing to me to get her to stay, but I was not going to do that.
It was for her good.
Her phone beeped and she stared in terror at Sebastian's first message in a few days to her.Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.
If the Alpha invites you to join him in honoring his parents' death ceremony, refuse the invitation. I want us to see instead. I'll send the address. This time around, I promise that there won't be any pictures. You've been humiliated enough.' My blood boiled and I threw my phone away.
I laid back on the couch, thinking of ways to how to get one without Sebastian knowing.
But again, I could not hurt a fly.
kill Sebastian. A colorless and odorless poison would do. I just had to figure out
"Rita, you're screwed," I mumbled to myself. I looked up. My fate was left to the hands of my creator. I was no longer capable of controlling my fate.
Alpha Leo came back to the room earlier than I had expected. The sun had not even set yet, but he was back already.
I quickly got out of the bed, stood and looked at him without saying anything or even moving.
He ignored me, walked toward his couch and stood in front of it,
"Rita," he called out, backing me and my face lit up. "My parents' death anniversary is tomorrow. I want you to come with me. I usually go to their tombstone alone, but I want you to come with me this time. I'd like to introduce you to them."
My knees weakened and it took a lot of willpower for me to keep on standing. What I was about to say felt wrong, but I said it anyway. "I'm sorry. I signed the contract you gave me to be your Luna for six months, because you needed a Luna to attend an important event not to be taken to a place filled with dead wolves."
I felt a burning sensation in my throat and chest when the words left my mouth. I felt Dakota slip away too. She had slipped/ away before now and was in a deep sleep, but I felt myself losing her more than I did before now.
I knew it was wrong to think of killing someone, but I couldn't help but think of ways to kill Sebastian. He deserved to die for making me act this way.
Without saying anything to me or even looking at me, Alpha Leo left the room and I dropped down to the ground.
The time to see Sebastian came.
We were to meet in the same bar he went with Taylor to on the day I thought he would propose to make me his forever. Sebastian asked me to see him in the very same bar he rejected me in.
I went to the bar and this time around, it was not to do whatever he asked me to, but to give him a piece of my mind.
I sighted him seated at the counter and I stormed over to him. "What is your plan now? You invited me to see you in a bar. To do what? To humiliate me more than you have already."
"I can do something as wicked as killing someone here and no one will bat an eyelid. Everybody minds their business. Plus, most of the wolves here aren't even from this pack so be chill."
I scoffed. "I don't care. I'm tired of this game of yours. I want you to let me be for good. State your price and let me go." Sebastian smirked. "I want you. I miss your tight c**t around my d**** "You're crazy," I growled. "That is never happening. I would rather die. Plus, you'll die if that ever happens. Your uncle
marked me."
"I don't f**k**g car
Sebastian snarled. "He stole me from you and if I can't have you, he can't have you either."
I glared at Sebastian. "You're a monster. I curse the day I met you
"I will let you go today, but fix your attitude before the next time we meet." Sebastian left and I smacked the table in anger.
How dare he ask me to fix my
attitude? Who was he to me?
"Is this what you've been passing through?
I recognized that voice.
I looked in the direction the voice came from and I froze.
It was Ivy.
