The meaning behind her words was, "What's the point of having you as my parent?"
Upon listening to her words, John was embarrassed yet angry. He exclaimed, "You..." Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
David's father immediately interrupted him, "Mr. Smith, calm down. I believe they are just playing around, so don't take it seriously. You don't need to be hard on her."
Cecelia's mother followed along persuaded, "Yes. I believe Cecelia must do something wrong too, you can't solely blame Rosy."
Soon, other parents joined along in convincing John. Noticing that the rest let pass of this matter, Mrs. Lee realized that if she held into it, she might be hated by others. She sulked aside, feeling unsatisfied with this outcome.
Seeing that the parents didn't pursue the matter anymore, Lucas heaved a long sigh of relief.
Just as everyone thought that this matter would be settled, they never expected that someone didn't want to let it go.
"Even if you all decided to let this matter go, I refused to do that." Roslin looked at Cecelia and the parents and stated out coldly.
Everyone was dumbfounded by her sudden words and focused their gazes on the beautiful little girl in front of them.
"This is my first day at Masafield School, and also my first day in the class. Before I could even recognize all my classmates, these people couldn't wait to unite and bully me. As their parents, isn't it natural for you to give a good explanation to me and the Smith family?"
"Although the Smith family isn't one of the eight major families in Suro City, it's not a random family that you could simply make fun of. Or, is it because you held a grudge against the Smith family and instructed your children to cause this ruckus?"
What?! For instance, the parents were shocked, whereas Cecelia and her gang looked at her with their mouths agape. John, on the other hand, fell into deep thought as he squinted at the parents.
Roslin pointed at David and threw cold glances toward his father. "Your son told others that he wants to date me out, then let me become his plaything after succeeded. And, he proudly announced to the people that it was exciting to let me, daughter of the Smith family become his plaything."
Immediately, David's father's face drained out of its color. He walked toward his son and slapped him on the back of the head. "You bastard, I'll deal with you when we go back!"
Roslin then pointed to Tina and her gangs, with her gaze focusing on their parents, and continued, "These innocent, well-educated daughters of yours were spreading rumors that I'm a whore in the class as if they had seen it in their eyes. Tsk, how good the education they were taught by you guys- the upper class."
At this point, John darkened his expression. Lucas didn't expect that these teenagers could speak out such vicious words.
Tina's mother, on the other hand, didn't expect her daughter to say such a thing, "Did you really say that?"
Tina adverted her gaze and remained silent. Needless to say, everyone could guess the meaning behind her reaction. Although Tina's mother was uneducated and vigorous, she still held conscience on certain matters.
Without hesitation, she slapped Tina directly on her face. "What have you learned? How could you say such vicious words?!"
Tina, despite being angry, dare not speak back to her mom. She hated her mom very much for being uneducated.
Meanwhile, Cecelia's mother stepped forward and pleaded to Roslin sincerely, "Rosy, I apologize to you on behalf of Cecelia. I'll definitely teach her a lesson after I go back."
Roslin stared at Cecelia's mother, then at Tina's. What an obvious contrast between their reaction! Regardless of "teaching her a lesson" that she mentioned, in the end, she was just protecting her daughter while thinking that this wasn't a big deal.
"Auntie, you don't need to apologize. You aren't the one who did the wrong. It should be the person who made the mistake to apologize, not you."
She was determined to make Cecelia and her gang apologize to her, which was way more impactful and embarrassing to them.
