Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 309

As Brad smiled faintly, his almond-shaped eyes narrowed slightly at the corners. He turned his face slightly to the side, addressing the women who had been discussing him with a polite and gentlemanly demeanor.

Due to his height, he had to hunch slightly to speak to them, which revealed a glimpse of his well-defined collarbone and only added to his charm.

Captivated by his appearance, the surrounding women immediately stopped their gossip and moved aside to make space for him. However, their eyes kept darting between Brad and Nadine.

"Seriously, Nadine. You're saying you don't know this tall, handsome guy? Who are you trying to fool?"

"Is he your boyfriend? Are you worried we'll steal him from you?"

"Don't worry. We're not interested in stealing him. We just want to know him." They even cast flirtatious glances at Brad.noveldrama

"Yes! What's the relationship between you two? You seem quite well-matched."

"If he's not your boyfriend, could you introduce him to us? We'd hate to miss out on someone like him!"

"Nadine, come on! Introduce him to us!"

Nadine was reluctant to engage with Brad. She gave an awkward smile to her colleagues and chose to ignore their questions.

However, Brad overheard their speculation and became visibly irritated. His sharp, icy gaze swept over them and quickly silenced their chatter.

His formidable presence made them reluctant to discuss him further, so their attention shifted back to Nadine. They were increasingly convinced that there was more to her relationship with Brad than she was letting on.

However, Nadine remained aloof. With a dismissive smile, she said, "We're really not close," and turned her face away.

Nevertheless, her colleagues were unconvinced. Nadine's silence and her clear desire to avoid further discussion, combined with Brad's cold stare, made them fall silent. Despite this, they continued to watch Brad and Nadine with

lingering curiosity.

Brad gave a slight nod to Nadine's colleagues and smoothly moved past them to stand beside Nadine. His eyes narrowed as he glanced at her huddled in the corner.

Although the elevator was crowded, Nadine pressed herself into the corner, trying to keep her distance from Brad and avoid any physical contact.

When the elevator finally reached the ground floor, Nadine sighed in relief, exited the elevator, and quickly made her way toward the cafeteria.

Just as she walked out, someone grabbed her wrist. The familiar musk made it clear who it was without her needing to look.

Nadine didn't want to continue the conversation with Brad, so she pulled her wrist away firmly and hurried toward the cafeteria.

However, Brad quickly caught up with her and blocked her path, looking at her with a puzzled expression.

"Nadine, why are you giving me the cold shoulder?" he asked.

Nadine was so angry she could barely speak. Brad had a knack for twisting things

and making himself out to be the victim even though he was clearly at fault.

She felt emotionally drained and had no desire to engage with him. She flatly said, "What does my attitude have to do with you? This is just how I am nothing is going to change that.

"I didn't ask you to look at me. If you don't want to see me, look away. I'm not forcing you to watch."

Her tone was flat and emotionless.

She kept her gaze fixed elsewhere, avoiding eye contact with Brad Nadine's indifference and total disregard for him only fueled his

frustration.
