My Substitute CEO Bride

Chapter 2753

Wrendell and the others... Would they all eventually die here? Was this truly their fate?

A bold idea suddenly flashed through Fogort's mind. In his previous fate, he had not been able to fully harness the power of the Chaos Talisman, which led to his death in the battle between the three. Now? He had inherited the Chaos Talisman's power completely. Did that mean.....

As the three fought fiercely, Fogort suddenly appeared behind Reese.

In the next moment, to everyone's shock, he began absorbing the Skyshard Armor from within Reese's body!

Wary of Fogort's immense power, Wrendell and Tamsone instinctively distanced themselves from him.

Fogort tossed Reese aside and then charged straight at Wrendell.

Wrendell had no choice but to unleash the Light Reflector Mirror's full power. Just as he was preparing to defend himself, the mirror in Reese's pocket shattered suddenly.

"Wrendell, stop!"noveldrama

Before Wrendell could fully grasp the situation, Fogort had absorbed his power as well. He fell to the ground, tears streaming down his face.

"Scath?"

As Fogort's figure advanced toward Tamsine, he sensed something off. The Light Reflector Mirror's power was not complete.

At that moment, it finally struck him that the barrier's power was strangely similar to the energy emitted by the weapons. This meant that something else had to be hidden within the barrier, something that had been affecting everyone inside all along. That force was one of the roots of the unfolding tragedy.

Fogort closed his eyes and began to sense his surroundings, searching carefully. Eventually, he found an aura identical to that of the Light Reflector Mirror located near the entrance.

This realization confirmed that the Light Reflector Mirror had only ever existed in the world with half of its true power, while the other half was hidden in this ruin.

Without hesitation, he sprinted toward the entrance.

Tamsine cursed under her breath and quickly followed him.

Just as Fogort was about to reach the entrance, he abruptly stopped in his tracks.

Seeing this, Tamsine immediately drew the Ghost King Sword.

"The weapon is mine!"

At that moment, Fogort activated the Skyshard Armor's power and effortlessly blocked Tamsine's attack. Unable to stop in time, Tamsine crashed directly into the door of the ruin.

Suddenly, a chair materialized beside her.

"This is it!" Fogort exclaimed as he used the Five Thunder Array to destroy the chair.

As soon as the chair disappeared, the spirit of the ancient human emperor appeared beside him.

Without saying a word, Fogort immediately used the Chaos Talisman to absorb the old priest's lingering spirit.

With that, the Light Reflector Mirror was finally restored to its full power. However, it was then that Fogort felt a sharp pain. Looking up, he saw that Tamsine, who was still under the ruin's influence, had stabbed him in the back with the Ghost King Sword.

Summoning his remaining strength, Fogort grabbed the Ghost King Sword and shattered it in his hand. Then, he reached out and touched her head, absorbing the power of the Heaven-Destroyer Magma from her.

"Now... that should be enough," he muttered through clenched teeth.

Using the Chaos Talisman once more, he whispered a single command, "Transfer!"

In a flash, Reese and Wrendell were also teleported to the entrance of the ruins.

Tamsine suddenly regained her senses then. She looked down at her hands in shock, her voice trembling. "W-What have I done?"

Ignoring her, Fogort used a talisman to quickly staunch the bleeding from his wound. Rising to his feet, he began to walk toward the tall tower in the distance. Tamsine quickly grabbed onto him.

"Where are you going?"

"Miss Hurley, take these two and leave this place."

She clung tightly to his clothes, her voice desperate. "Y-You can't just leave like this."

His expression remained indifferent as he pushed her hand away gently. "Forgive me, Miss Hurley."
