We talked and then ended up falling asleep. A women's voice, woke me up. She shook me awake.
"Babies wake up." She said. Her voice haunted my head for a minute. "What's wrong?" He asked
worriedly yawning.
"She called us." I looked at him, he rubbed my arms followed by his eyes. "It's Maria. She is a
sweetheart; let's go then." He yawned once again. He stood up, folded the blanket and placed it on the
sofa next to the door.
We walked out to the main room. We entered what seemed like the living room. It was gorgeous, I bet
dad bought the house furnished. We entered the first door.
We entered the room. Emma sat by my right, empty chair and Ethan. Dylan sat there so I could sit next
to my dad.
"Bon appetite." Dylan shouted. We joined them; our meal was served as he removed the dish that
covered our plates. Everyone was eating a salad with grilled beef and carrot rice. It looked so delicious
but Ethan wasn't eating that. He was eating lasagna.
I finally removed the metal food protector above my plate. I got the same as Ethan.
My dad laid back on his chair. "Where were you two?" Dad asked, with the not interested but interested
look.
"Watching a movie and then we fell asleep." Dylan said. "Okay." He looked at me while taking his
phone out of his back pocket and then began scrolling down through Twitter, I guess.
"Baby, I'm going to work during the weekend, gotta check if everything is going according to plans." He
locked his phone.
"Why? It seems as if you don't even have time for me?" I muttered.
"Morgan, it's going to be a weekend and during the weekdays I'll be working too and I'll be at home" He
said trying to explained trying to calm me down.
"And who is going to stay at home?" I asked him and then looked at everyone. "My mom is also going.
We will have the whole house just for ourselves; and we can get to know you more." Dylan explained. Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
Ethan was now on his phone.
"Yeah, it won't be that bad." Ethan said. "Try and handle this two for the weekend, darling." Emma
laughed and then stood up from the table leaving her napkin on her chair, and my dad followed still on
his phone. "Okay, I guess they won't bite me." I said looking at Emma as she smiled, when I looked at
her.
"Enjoy kids," Emma said. My dad planted a kiss on my forehead and ruffled my curls "I swear I will
send you a big present for being a good daughter and for coming back home." He said as he ruffled my
hair once more and then placed his phone on his back pocket and then pushed in his chair.
"Yes dad." I said. "Bye." They said as they left the dinning room. "Ohhh Mini Morgan is sad..." Ethan
teased with a babyish tone. I rolled my eyes. "Ethan stop, she hasn't been with him for three months or
so." Dylan defend me. I could see that he was a good soul.
"You get to see your mother everyday and me? No visitors, no going to the mall, no friends. And in
weekends I get my phone and how old am I? 18 years old and they treated me like a fuckin child." I
said. I couldn't hold myself, my eyes were so watery. I walked out.
I got out of the dinning room and went to the living room. Threw myself on the couch. I cried for a
couple of minutes.
I slowly started drifting into sleep, then I felt something warm cover my body. It was a blanket, a soft
one. The person caressed my hair, I thought it was my dad. Maybe he hasn't left yet.
I lifted my head up, and saw an old lady, maybe it is Maria.
I guess she is the their grandmother or something. "Sorry, you must be Morgan, right? Ross's
daughter?" She said as she sat down on the couch with her hand still on my hair.
A voice of full life, nice smile, good English grammar and a sweet talk, just like...
