The headquarters of the Verdant Gang was located in a city west of Rivenesco.
When the helicopter landed outside the headquarters, Dustin pushed Bella out, and she fell face– first in the dirt.
“You crazy b*stard!” she screamed in her disheveled state.
After Dustin killed the Hell Messenger, he dragged her into the helicopter and headed straight to the headquarters.
The Verdant Gang was a prominent force in the city, and its headquarters was practically a lion’s den.
Why would Dustin even dare to come here?
Was he thinking about barging in alone?
“Who’s there?”
Members of the Verdant Gang rushed out and pointed their guns at them.
Bella was so terrified that she raised her hands to surrender.
“This is Dustin Fox! He killed Mr. Grant and the Hell Messenger! Catch him!” she shouted in fear.
“What? He killed a Hell Messenger?” The gang members were shocked.
The Hell Messengers were the Verdant Gang’s trump card and were really powerful. How could one of them have been killed so easily?
“You insolent b*stard! Die!” More than a dozen guns pointed at Dustin.
He smiled.
Whoosh!
A black figure suddenly appeared and moved as quickly as a phantom.
“Ah!!!”
Screams erupted as the Verdant Gang members fell one after another.
Some of them tried shooting the black figure, but it was useless.
Within a moment, the gang members were dead on the floor.
“My Liege, I’m here to fulfill your orders,” said Drake respectfully as he knelt in front of Dustin.
Dustin nodded.
Bella was stunned.
Someone who had no fear of guns was showing such great respect to Dustin?
Also, why was this person calling him “My Liege“?
Who exactly was Dustin?
She did not have time to think about it. Dustin had already dragged her through the gates of the Verdant Gang’s headquarters.
Some gang members rushed out, but Drake took them out easily.
Bella was shocked.
Drake was terrifying. Killing seemed as easy as breathing to him. It was almost as if he was a monster.
She could not understand how someone like him would serve Dustin.
News about their arrival spread to the top members of the Verdant Gang, and the elites soon learned about them.
“Well, well… Dustin. Aren’t you just amazing?” Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Bring them to the main hall,” said Lloyd Gray, the leader of the Verdant Gang.
It had been a long time since anyone had dared to barge into the Verdant Gang’s headquarters to challenge them, and all those who had done so were already dead.
Soon, Dustin, Drake, and Bella arrived in the main hall.
Bella swallowed hard in terror.
The main hall was huge, and they were surrounded by a sea of people. They stood in a neat, orderly fashion, and they had such icy looks on their faces that they all seemed very intimidating.
On the stage ahead of them were the executives of the Verdant Gang.
All of them were famous for being ruthless in the underground.
Lloyd sat in a leather seat and looked down at them.
As fierce gazes fixated on her, Bella held her breath.
She had always acted high and mighty in front of Dustin and was domineering in the entertainment industry, but here, she was just a terrified woman.
“Who among you is Dustin Fox?” asked Lloyd icily as he looked down at them.
When Bella saw that Dustin had no intention of answering, she pointed at him and said, “H–He is…”
She was worried that if Lloyd was displeased, he would order his men to shoot at them, and she would get caught in the crossfire.
“He did everything! It has nothing to do with me!” Bella wanted to distance herself from Dustin. “Dustin has already been kicked out of the Wyatt family! We have no idea what he has been
up to!”
Lloyd ignored Bella. He stared at Dustin.
“Why aren’t you greeting our leader, you insolent b*stard?!” one of the executives roared.
Dustin shot an icy look at Drake.
Whoosh!
Drake shot out like an arrow. In just a moment, blood gushed out of the executive’s neck, and he tried to cover it while he fell.
The Verdant Gang members were shocked and furious
Bella’s face turned pale.
Even in such a situation, they dared to kill people! Did they have a death wish?
“You’re just three people, and yet, you dare to barge into my headquarters? You sure are bold,” Lloyd said frostily.
“They’re the ones who wanted to come! I didn’t! I was dragged here against my will!” Bella hastily clarified. “She’s too noisy. Shut her up.” Lloyd scowled.
Bang!
The sound of a gunshot echoed.
With her face drained of all color, Bella stared at the hand in front of her.
Dustin had grabbed a smoking bullet that was about to sink into her forehead.
Dustin had saved her, or she would have already died.
Bella’s eyes widened, and she felt a turmoil of emotions in her heart. She felt fear, shock, and disbelief.
“You can’t die yet,” Dustin said coldly.
The executives were shocked. Lloyd narrowed his eyes.
Grabbing a bullet with bare hands was something an average person absolutely could not do.
“Dustin Fox, the abandoned son of the Wyatt family…” Suddenly, Lloyd laughed, “How could you disown someone like him? Are you all blind?”
When Bella heard that, her face turned sour.
That was indeed true. Why had someone like Dustin pretended to be a useless bum in the Wyatt family for more than a decade?
If he had shown his talents earlier, they would not have been in such trouble.
She felt resentful.
“Looks like we’ve run into someone powerful.” Lloyd smiled and clapped his hands.
Even more Verdant Gang members rushed in.
Bella trembled.
There were already a lot of people here, and even more were coming.
They were completely trapped.
Bella was terrified and cursed Dustin for bringing her here:
No matter how much she tried to explain herself, the Verdant Gang members had already decided she was with Dustin, so she could not escape.
“I wonder… How long can you three last?” Lloyd asked with a teasing smile.
No matter how strong a person was, they could still win against them with numbers, and the Verdant Gang had plenty of members to spare.
“We’re not the only ones here,” Dustin said coldly.
“Oh?” Lloyd raised an eyebrow.
“How many more did you bring with you? Summon them here,” said Lloyd as he adjusted his posture on
the chair.
“Your hall won’t be able to fit them all,” said Dustin mockingly.
The executives laughed. Their faces were full of mockery.
“How arrogant!”
“How could you make up such a lie? Your nose might just start growing longer.”
Lloyd chuckled and remained calm. “The main hall is very big, and it has never been filled to its limit before. Just summon them.”
“Fine,” Dustin said. “Come out!”
Boom! Rumble!
The main hall was filled with a deafening sound, and the floor started trembling..
The Verdant Gang members were shocked.
What was happening?
Was it an earthquake?
“The King of Hades’s Army, are you here?!” Dustin shouted.
“Yes!”
From every direction, murderous shouts echoed unanimously.
