Mated To The Queen Of The Sea

With The Dragon

“What’s that?” Alliana asked, as she opened the door of my room.

I was dressed, and was standing outside with the visiting dragon, discussing since I woke up.

“My love, how have you been?” I asked Alliana, staring at her lovingly.

“Cool…”

“There is a long story to hear,” I then added and asked her, “I wouldn’t afford to miss this, you understand?”

“About our friend, Diana?” She sought to ascertain.

“Kind of…”

“I get, then!” Alliana replied, as she walked into the room shyly and quickly.

So, I faced the dragon and continued our deliberation; he started another conversation of ours with a question to recall what we had said.

“Long story, you said?” the dragon turned to me and asked.

I looked at him with my face wrinkled, wanting him to tell me more about his story.

“The last time I visited Venzemen was my earlier year, when I met with a male dragon,” he started to explain.

“Are you a female?” I suddenly asked.

“You don’t know that, if I was a male, I would have bursted into your bathroom to strangle you!” The dragon answered with a loud voice, complemented with a smile.

“That is very funny!” I stated, “so, you knew I was taking my bath?”

“We see from afar, and we perceive with our very sharp minds!” He claimed.Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

“Are you a he or a she?” I angrily asked again, “just answer my question!”

“I see anger, frustration and distress in you now!” he returned.

“Whatever!” I replied back.

“Fine!” he bawled, “I am like an hermaphrodite – neither male or female, so I can sleep with any or none and even still give birth! The day I bit a beta wolf, I birthed a dragon-like cub, which ate bones and human flesh only.”

“You’re wonderful and indeed amazing!” I remarked.

“Apprezzo te!” By that, he appreciated me by saying thank you.

“That means, you gave birth to a werewolf like me?” I asked the dragon studiously.

“No!” he replied noisily, “I gave birth for a wolf, and to a strange beast; another time for a demon!”

“So, it shows that you have had some demonic powers vested in you or should I say superpowers?” I sought to know.

“You got it there!” He asserted.

“And, you are Alliana?” I rejoined in question.

“Maybe…” he blabbered in response, holding his nose to hold back a sneeze.

“Are you in any way hungry? I have some popcorn here, and I also packed some vegetable sticks with me!” I said.

Vegetable sticks in general was a common dish in the fantasy world. It was vegetables mashed with pepper and black tomatoes, and then was blended and frozen in rectangles before it would be folded in wrap nylons. It tasted very sweet but somehow sour that it was even believed that it contained some spiritual potion that could make the fattest pig fly.

It was so strange to imagine a fly complaining of cold in the hottest hell. Those sticks made one feel that way. You were considered rich if you could buy it which was a true notion because, it was very expensive as classic as it was. Even aliens ate it and sometimes, dropped it in blood juice.

He noticed me thinking. I was actually not in the world of chopsticks, broomsticks, lipsticks or candlesticks. I was deep in the universe of vegetable sticks; in a milieu of enjoyable fantasy as I was already dream-tasting the dulce.

I was no longer looking at the monstrous beast – the dragon, but had my head bent down in thought.

“Can you believe that you are still in coma?” The monster asked me so furiously.

“Oh, maybe!” I guessed.

I had a special time with a monster but I wasn’t any shocked or fed up, as I was a strong kind of being myself, too.

I looked at myself in a mirror and imagined myself in a hospital bed, very sick and sullen. It was the monster’s words that made me think that way. I never was someone who thought evil of himself.

Okay, if actually I had just been in a comatic fantasy, I should have been acting strangely and stupidly.

Well, the monster could be true; what he said gingered me into deep imaginations and some fun.

“Just maybe….” I said to myself and winked.

In some few minutes, I was entering into deeper realms of unconsciousness, I took it so, because I didn’t actually feel reality as I did, before he took me that deep.

The dragon shifted very close to me and seemed to perform some kind of perception, he looked through my head and the hairs on it, as if he was seeing an inscription thereon.

So, I was coming back from the fantasy little by little, which I didn’t think he knew about.

Suddenly, Pappo Reye’s message dropped into my memory.

He once said that the dragons of Manelda had no other aim than to make humans or shifters totally numb, so as to automate them later to fulfil their own tasks, much more like any scientific machines.

“So, there is one thing about us, man!” The dragon started, laying his two scrappy hands on me so heavily.

“What’s that thing?” I asked.

“Comprehendemon multé cosé” The dragon replied in Lampian, meaning that he understood many things.

“We often put things like these to test, so as to criticize its authenticity, you know?” I sought to ascertain.

“Sure, do you wish to test me and see that I was saying the truth?” He asked in return.

“Veramente!” I answered him in the same language he used before switching to the Latin modern language. I also heard Lampian very well and I meant ‘surely.’

“So dragon, what is the name of the first monster of Manelda?” I asked him a profound question.

“Tacudas Emprodius” the dragon replied to me wittily.

“Oh, that’s awesome!” I remarked, having fully come to my consciousness.

I was still acting like I was not totally conscious yet again, to trick the dragon and maybe run away from him.

“My second question for you is, what are the seven kinds of beings in Manelda? Wait, are they even seven or, they are more than that?” I asked.

“Okay, we have the dragons like us, werewolves, shifters, monsters, angels, ghosts, demons, high spirits, ghost whites, vampires and so on!” The dragon answered clearly.

“So, it means there are nine of us, in the least?”

“Yes, I can discern something… Can you tell me how you’re feeling right now? It’s like you have come to remember some things you have been longing to have back in your mind, is that true?” He asked questions upon questions, bulging out his fiery eyes as if he was going to swallow me suddenly and leave me there, to myself. Well, I wasn’t scared as he would have me be.

“You mentioned Minidemonios, didn’t you?” I asked him.

It was clearly known in Manelda that, if someone could remember what he had seen or heard in a dream, fantasy or daydreaming.

So, I actually recalled what the dragon said to falsely convince him that I hadn’t recovered fully from the fantasy he brought me into.

“Oh, Minidemonios have some powers to make man…” He was about to explain something about my statement, but then I stopped him. I would not want to switch back to such!

Morrasta and Diliuni, the two greatest lands in the fantasy world, had a lot to do with what this monstrous dragon was saying.

I started deriving facts from his words, and even truths. When I recalled the tone of his voice and that he did not hurt me, for not responding to him when he cried, I discovered he must be a female beast from Morrasta.

Also, since Morrasta was close to Manelda in many ways, I thought he was journeying through the fantasy world, especially to Manelda.

Was I speaking with the Queen of the sea?

“Are you here?” the dragon beckoned.

“I already knew this, Mio Drago!” I retorted quickly.

“And, did you say ‘my dragon?'”
