Chapter 2296 Aora’s Faith!
After Gwain was driven off, Aora began to panic, suddenly feeling strangely alone.
A lyric popped into his mind: How I wish, how I wish you were here…
He actually found himself missing Gwain a little.

“Hahaha!” Emmanuel suddenly burst into rare laughter, his voice bold and thunderous as he faced the crowd of enemies. “Aora! Verkade! And the rest of you scrambling to kill me–weren’t you all here to avenge Teddy and your fallen comrades? Well, come on, then!”
Boom!
His defiant roar exploded like thunder in the hearts of everyone present. The so–called elites of Zovince, along with their supposedly unbeatable subordinates, flinched as if struck by a raging storm.
Moments ago, they’d been confident they could swarm Emmanuel and hack him into pieces. But after witnessing his godlike battle against three goliaths, that confidence had evaporated. They all knew that even if they attacked together, their fate would likely mirror the ones who had fallen outside the Chapman Estate.
“What’s the matter? Too scared to attack but too ashamed to retreat? What the hell do you want?!” Emmanuel roared again.
And then, a spectacle unfolded–over 300 so–called elites scrambled to retreat, shoving and trampling over one another in their haste. The sheer force of Emmanuel’s shout had shattered their spirits, leaving countless hearts quaking with fear.
This didn’t look like a quest for vengeance anymore.
This looked like more of a quest for humiliation.
“Ahhhhh! You’re amazing, Emmanuel!” Beatrix cheered, bouncing with great excitement.
Even Angela, Sonia, and the other women trembled with inexplicable anticipation, their bright eyes sparkling as if waiting for something beyond comprehension.
“Well, since you won’t come to me, I’ll come to you!”
With a battle cry that shook the skies, Emmanuel surged forward–straight toward Aora.
Every one of these people was an enemy. And he still needed to get Ethan back to Congress. Having chosen to stand by Ethan’s side, these people were nothing more than obstacles standing in the way of Chanaea’s
new era.
They had set a trap to kill him–so they had no one to blame if he killed them first!
“Arghhhhh! Emmanuel! I’ll kill you and avenge Mr. Tanner!”
Aora alone did not back down. With unwavering loyalty to Teddy–unlike Gautier and the others—he had come here fully prepared to die.
Besides, having just fought Emmanuel firsthand, Aora knew how much energy Emmanuel had burned through. And with so many allies supposedly supporting him, Aora believed he might just have a chance.

With his head bowed low, Aora roared against the howling wind as crimson whirlwinds of energy erupted from his entire body.
The violent clash of the two masters‘ energies whipped the dust and sand into a storm. Instinctively, the crowd raised their arms to shield themselves from the gale, their hearts pounding with fear.
Anyone could see it–this time, Aora was prepared to fight Emmanuel to the death.
His gaze gleamed like blades of steel, eyes sharp with grave malice. His aura surged like a raging storm, and his clawed hands seemed capable of tearing the very air apart.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
In a flash, Aora struck first. His hands blurred like streaks of crimson light, each strike laced with blood–red energy that shredded the white jade railings around them into powder.
It was a savage, uncontrollable storm of destruction with no distinction between friend and foe.
Beatrix and the others shuddered involuntarily, goosebumps rising across their skin.
He’s gone mad! Aora’s descended into madness!
Gautier could see it too–Aora had entered a state of berserk fury. If this continued, he might die from the backlash of his own energy before he could even hurt Emmanuel. But at this point, they needed Aora to keep Emmanuel locked in battle–this was their only chance to kill him.
“Die! Emmanuel, die!!!!”
Consumed by bloodlust, Aora saw nothing but death. Like a war axe crashing down with thunderous might, he charged straight at Emmanuel. Yet Emmanuel’s eyes remained calm and composed–a stark contrast to Aora’s frenzied gaze.
With a single step of Drunken Crane Step, Emmanuel gracefully slipped free from what others would have called a certain–death situation.
Gasp!
A collective gasp swept through the crowd, especially from Chester, whose eyes burned with jealousy so intense that his face twisted beyond recognition.

He was being forced to admire someone he should have despised. Why could Emmanuel reach such heights while Chester remained trapped beneath the crushing weight of his bottleneck? Why?
Why had he trained harder than anyone–day and night, risking his life–only to find himself left so far behind that he couldn’t even glimpse Emmanuel’s tail?
Heaven, you’re so unfair!
Emmanuel’s figure vanished from sight, leaving behind only a faint afterimage.
Aora’s claws struck empty air again, crashing into a stone wall with such force that it shattered instantly, sending debris flying and panic rippling through the crowd.
Emmanuel moved to counterattack but paused, sensing that it wasn’t the right moment to strike.

Gautier could see the situation clearly. Even if the 300 fighters from the Great Hunt Alliance rushed in to assist Aora now, they’d be more of a hindrance than a help–Aora’s berserk state made him dangerous to friend and foe alike.
At this point, Aora was nothing more than a rabid beast, his mind consumed by bloodlust.
After dodging another wild attack, man’s back like a lightning bolt.

No one could have predicted that, even in his frenzied state, Aora’s reflexes would be so sharp. Twisting his
body at the last second, he narrowly avoided what should have been a fatal blow.
Emmanuel’s eyes narrowed slightly.
Gautier also noticed–but unlike Emmanuel, a sinister smirk tugged at his lips. So that old b*stard gave both Aora and me the Dragon’s Reversal Essence to use us as sacrificial pawns to take down the enemy.
In his current state, Aora was doomed–even if Emmanuel didn’t kill him, the backlash from his berserk energy would tear his body apart. The only question was: how much damage could he inflict on Emmanuel before he died?
If Aora could burn through enough of Emmanuel’s strength, then Emmanuel’s death was still tonight.

Aora seized the opening to counterattack, bringing both clawed hands down toward Emmanuel’s head like twin battle axes.
“Yes!”
A cheer erupted from the onlookers–after all, from their perspective, there was no way Emmanuel could dodge that strike.
But the Art of Adaptability made the impossible possible. Without even thinking, Emmanuel’s body shifted instinctively, vanishing from sight in another flash of movement.
The entire crowd fell silent, stunned.
What the hell?! He can dodge that too?!
Aora pressed the attack, unleashing a barrage of blows that cracked like thunderclaps with each strike. But Emmanuel’s flawless footwork left the crowd breathless–every dodge was a masterpiece of precision and
grace.
Alas, how could mere ants comprehend the depths of the Art of Adaptability?
The battle left its scars upon the crumbling walls of the Chapel of Oros, etching a scene of devastation that resembled a painting of the apocalypse.
But Aora was no Emmanuel.
Without the Heart of the Sun, his heart couldn’t endure such reckless energy output for long. Grimson veins began to rupture along his arms, blood seeping from beneath his skin.
Gasps of shock echoed through the crowd.

Even knowing that his body was breaking apart from within, Aora didn’t stop. His voice rang out in a crazed battle cry, “I must avenge Mr. Tanner! I must do so!”
The fight had become increasingl
One–sided, with the outcome all but decided. Yet no one in the crowd dared to breathe too loudly, afraid to disturb the grim intensity of the moment.
Despite the toll on his body, Aora charged forward again, fists crashing through stone pillars and wooden beams as if they were paper.
Each impact echoed through the air, shaking the hearts of all who watched.
Time seemed to slow. The battlefield moved as if in slow motion, the world fading into silence save for the deafening cracks of Aora’s destruction.
Mackenzie’s heart ached with a sudden pang of pity. He was a man of faith and determination, but sadly, his loyalty had been twisted by Teddy’s manipulations. Even in death, that devil still dragged his devoted followers down with him. noveldrama
“Peace be with you.” Even Zen Master couldn’t help but speak up. “Mr. Aora, stop this madness! How long must the cycle of vengeance continue? Don’t throw away your life over one obsession!”
But Aora seemed deaf to the words. His eyes, once blood–red, had turned pitch–black–fixated on Emmanuel with nothing but the desire to kill. And yet, no matter how frenzied his attacks became, Emmanuel continued to evade them all, his gaze as calm and clear as ever.
The blood that splattered onto the stone floor belonged only to Aora, whose veins continued to rupture under the strain.
At this point, Emmanuel could have ended the fight with ease. But for reasons no one could understand, he chose not to deliver the final blow.
As the fight dragged on, the air grew heavy with an atmosphere of both tragedy and despair.
