Let Me Go Ex (Emma annd Braydon)

Chapter 18

Lena walked away while

talking on the phone, and inside the room, Emma covered her mouth to keep herself from crying out loud.

She knew her parents loved her very much. Even though they didn't say anything

in the store at that time, they would definitely scold her later.

Afterwards, everyone tacitly agreed not to mention this matter.

After having a great time in Chicago with her parents, Emma finally boarded the plane back to Seattle.

And on the second day after Emma returned, she celebrated her twenty-

sixth birthday.

As Emma, who had been spoiled by the Corsie family since she was a child, every time her birthday came around, the whole town would set off fireworks to celebrate for her. Emma's birthday party hosted by the Corsie family was particularly grand this time.

On the day of the banquet, celebrities from various sectors of society arrived to offer their congratulations.

The luxury car that had come from the Corsie's manor stopped ten miles away.

The bustling crowd chatted and laughed as they walked towards the hall.

A long line of waiters had been waiting at the door for a long time. As soon as a guest entered, a waiter would quickly come forward to guide them to their seat.

Upstairs in Emma's room, she was being carefully dressed by several makeup artists in her formal gown.

The precious jewelry boxes were lined up in a row on the dressing table, with their lids open.

The dazzling array of jewelry inside couldn't compare to Emma's bright eyes.

Then her slender fingers spent a long time selecting from the row of jewelry boxes, before finally picking up a necklace adorned with red jewels and handing it to one of the makeup artists. "Let's go with this one."

At that moment, Lena knocked on the door and asked, "Emma, are you ready? The banquet is about to start."

Emma got up and replied, "I'll be right there," as she lifted her skirt.

At the same time, outside the gate of the Corsie's manor, diligent bodyguards patrolled

back and forth, keeping a close eye on their surroundings.

One reason is to prevent anyone from taking advantage of the situation, and the other is to avoid Braydon from entering and disturbing Miss Corsie's family.

It was still the familiar little alley. Braydon sat in the back seat, pale-

faced, looking at the bustling Corsie family in the distance.

Today was Emma's birthday.

When they were in New York, she always looked forward to her birthday, and he would also make

Vl

every effort to organize a party for her out of respect for his wife.

But after he had multiple entanglements with Caitlin, Emma never again mentioned her birthday

in front of him.

Even the gifts he sent her had never been opened.

Thinking of this, Braydon chuckled self-deprecatingly. If only he had noticed her strangeness earlier, orat he had seen through Caitlin's true colors sooner, would they not K ended up in the situation they were in today.

Is he still going to be by her side when it's her birthday now?

He lowered his head and touched the birthday gift in his hand, which was a diamond necklace worth three billion, named True Love Heart.

This necklace was not bought by him, nor was it custom-made by

him, but was made by him personally.

Before officially taking over the

Lederer Group, Braydon had self studied knowledge related to jewelry and had personally designed several pieces, two of which were auctioned off at very high prices.

Later, when Emma, who later marriednoveldrama

him, found out, she coquettishly asked him to design and make a necklace for her

as her birthday gift.

It was just a necklace, and it didn't take him much time. Besides, this was the first time Emma had actively asked him for something.

So he agreed.

But in the end, the necklace ended up in Caitlin's hands.
