His Ex wife is a billionaire (Evadne and Thaddeus) Novel Full Episode

Chapter 995

"What did you say... a wedding... now?!"

Evadne shivered all over, pushing against his chest, looking out at the swaying shadows of the trees through the window, amidst a raging storm. She thought she must have heard wrong!

"Yes, now." Avery looked deeply into her eyes, tender and passionate.

Her eyes widened, suddenly filled with shock!

Avery was proposing to have their wedding right now, in the dead of night, with the weather so foul.

Did this mean he knew their hideout had been compromised?

Could it be that Thaddeus and her brothers had found her? And they were forcing Avery to advance all his plans!

Avery sat her down on the bed, bending over to pick up the red high heels prepared on the floor, gently slipping them onto her delicate, fair feet, one after the other.

"When I was a kid, my mom used to say, a bride who marries on a rainy day has a fiery temper."

He gazed at her pale face, his eyes deep and intense, his cool lips brushing against her soft cheek in a kiss that was not quite a kiss, "With the storm raging outside, it seems my wife is going to be quite the handful.noveldrama

Evadne, after we're married, I want you to keep me in line. I like it when you're mad at me, when you lose your temper with me. It's the only way I'll know you care."

The more he spoke, the more his voice choked, the redder his eyes became.

Madman!

Evadne screamed inside. She let Avery caress her, her body stiff, every nerve taut.

But she had to endure, to bite back the pain. After enduring for so long, to break now would ruin everything!

Thaddeus would find her.

He had to!

Avery took off his suit jacket and wrapped it around her trembling body, lifting her

in his arms, his steps heavy as he walked towards the chapel.

No wedding dress, no family to witness, not even a proper officiant.

The wedding he was giving her, like his short, bleak life, was full of flaws and regrets.

But to marry her, to have her, to be her husband, was his lifelong wish.

Even if the heavens were against him, he was determined to make this wedding happen!

...

The chapel had a massive glass conservatory, but under the storm, the whole structure seemed to sway, as if on the verge of collapse.

There was none of the joy that a wedding should bring.

Outside the garden, the island's servants and hired hands stood in a crowd.

Hans was among them, his expression blank, standing at the forefront.

He watched as Evadne, her waist gripped unwillingly by Avery, walked into a sea of blood-red roses, her face pale and filled with pain, hatred, and grievance. Beautiful yet shattered.

For some reason, a strong sense of discomfort surged in his chest, making his brows furrow tightly.

The officiant, dressed in a minister's robe, approached them.

Suddenly, Avery tightened his hold on Evadne, forcing her to turn and face Hans, who was not far away:

"Mr. Hans, could you come here for a moment?"

Hans's cold gaze flickered, but he walked over.

"I've heard Evadne call you Hubery, which suggests you bear a striking resemblance to a family member of hers who passed away in a plane crash."

Avery tightened his grip on Evadne's trembling waist, smiling sincerely, "Evadne has been away from home for so long, she must miss it terribly, along with her family.

So, I want you to be our officiant. Seeing you, Evadne might feel more at ease, it might bring a sense of home, make her a little happier."
