The Lost Prophecies
While the Library of Alexandria burned, four brave knights of the demonic Order of Azezal entered the fiery ruins and rescued six sacred scrolls. These scrolls were said to contain the predictions of the ancient prophetess Fiere.
Later captured by Caesar’s Army, the knights were mercilessly tortured in an attempt to locate the sacred texts. However, the knights’ fortitude proved too unyielding for even the fiercest Roman Centurion to overcome. The scrolls were never recovered, and legend has it that the Order of Azezal fell thirteen days after the great library itself. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Some say that the valiant knights failed in their rescue efforts and the scrolls burned. But those who speak the ancient tongue know the truth: the knights did not fail and the Order of Azezal did not fall. Instead, they scattered across six continents, hiding the scrolls from the world of mortal men for fear they would bring about the ruin of all nonhumankind. The sacred scrolls became known as the Lost Prophecies of Fiere, and the Order became guardians of the secrets held within them.
