Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1737

After adding Fiona's name to the list, Jane smirked. She was curious to see what someone from a place like New York could really do. If Fiona kept challenging her, she'd better brace herself. This time, Jane was going to make sure Fiona faced some serious embarrassment in front of the whole school at Central College. Nobody had dared to be so bold and cocky there, and Fiona was about to find out the hard way.

When Fiona got back to her dorm, she noticed her bedding had been swapped for a new set. She was thinking of buying new ones anyway, but then she spotted that Amy's bedding looked almost exactly like hers.

She glanced over at Amy, who gave a sheepish little chuckle. "Sorry, I wasn't sure if you'd like this color or brand of bedding. I've always used it because it's super comfy. But if it's not your thing, I can swap it out now, and you can put yours on. I also got a new mattress."

Fiona walked over to her bed and sat down, sinking into the softness.

She gave Amy a little squeeze on the arm and smiled. "I really like it. You picked just what I'd want."

Amy lit up, like Fiona's compliment was the best thing ever.

Fiona let go and patted Amy's cheek gently, noticing it had turned a bit pink where she'd pinched. Fiona hadn't pinched hard, just playfully, but Amy's fair, delicate skin, along with her tendency to blush, made it seem like a bigger deal than it

was.

She stretched out on the bed, finding the new mattress way more comfy than her old one.

"How much do I owe you? Let me transfer the money," Fiona asked.

"No, no, it's really nothing," Amy said, waving her hands, not wanting to take Fiona's money.

But Fiona was practical and transferred her $2,000 anyway. As a designer, she knew the value of brands and pricing. The mattress and bedding were about $1,800, so she rounded up for labor, making it an even $2,000.

Amy didn't make a fuss. She accepted the money with a smile.

Fiona napped for a bit, and when she woke up, Amy was busy with her makeup, getting ready for a dance performance. She'd just need to change into her costume at the venue.

Seeing Fiona awake, Amy was nearly done getting ready.

"Fiona, did you sign up too?" Amy asked curiously.

Fiona looked puzzled. "Sign up for what?"

Yawning, she flopped back onto the bed, not wanting to move.

Amy sent her the performance schedule. Fiona's name was listed for a solo act, right after Amy's.

"I'm not interested in this," Fiona said, tossing her phone aside, already

suspecting Jane was behind this.

Amy nodded. "Yeah, only Jane would pull something like this."

She finished her makeup, swiped on some lipstick, and walked over to Fiona. "So,

what are you going to do?"

"I'm not going," Fiona replied. If

anyone else wanted to sit through a

dull event, they could go ahead.

She'd much rather stay in her dorm

and catch some Zs on her

delightfully soft bed.

"But once you're signed up, you can't

It

just back out. It could really mess

with your credits," Amy said, a bit

worried. Even though folks from elite

families didn't always focus on grades, Central College was a place

people dreamed of attending. Plus,noveldrama

credits could be the key to graduating.
