Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1303

"Uncle Jack, someone's been giving me a hard time lately..." Tara said, spotting Sammuel and feeling a sense of hope swell within her.

Sammuel had a reputation for his cool, detached nature, quite unlike Uncle Mike, who had fallen for Flora's charms. If Sammuel decided to step in, Flora wouldn't stand a chance of staying at the Wellness Clinic. "It's this woman named Flora. At first, I thought she was alright, but then I found out she's been using the fondness my mentor has for her to get away with some shady stuff. Even Uncle Mike got wrapped around her finger. Uncle Jack, I hate to badmouth folks, but Flora's just gone too far!"

Tara painted a vivid picture of Flora's alleged wrongdoings, and Sammuel was instantly incensed!

He trusted Tara completely; the thought of Flora mistreating Tara was infuriating to him.novelbin

"Your Uncle Mike, such a pushover, being hoodwinked by some girl!" Sammuel's voice was as cold as ice, carrying an intimidating edge: "Stop crying. You just stay here, and I'll go set her straight!"

With a hint of fake distress, Tara bit her lip and said, "Uncle Jack, Flora's got a silver tongue. I'm worried she might fool you, just like she did Uncle Mike."

"I'm no fool like Brodie!"

Sammuel reassured Tara firmly: "Don't worry, I can't stand conniving women like her!"

Ten minutes later, Tara watched Sammuel leave, a sly grin playing on her lips, her earlier tears nowhere in sight.

She was eagerly anticipating Sammuel putting Flora in her place!

Little did she know, her plan might just backfire on her.

...

In less than half an hour, Sammuel reached the Wellness Clinic.

Seeing a man lounging in the lobby, legs casually crossed, Sammuel's expression darkened.

This slacker was really here.

"Mr. Smith!"

The staff at the Wellness Clinic greeted Sammuel with the utmost respect.

As the head of the top family in the Martial World, he commanded respect wherever he went. "Brother, what brings you here?"

Brodie was surprised to see Sammuel. With all his responsibilities, it was rare for him to drop by.

"If you can be here, why can't I?" Sammuel, with years of authority under his belt, exuded a daunting presence with just a few words.

Brodie could sense his brother's anger but was clueless about its cause. Something else popped into his mind.

"Brother, you're here just in time. Remember I mentioned a girl who looks just like our little sister? That's Flora, and she's right here in the Wellness Clinic. You should meet her

Flora and their little sister bore an uncanny resemblance, almost like twins.

"Don't compare just anyone to our little sister. Not everyone deserves that comparison." Sammuel's disdain for Flora deepened at Brodie's mention of their dear sister: "Is this why you've let her walk all over Tara and even defended her?"

Brodie was taken aback. What was going on?

When had Flora ever bullied Tara?

"Brother, you must have it wrong. Flora, she..."

"Save it. I'm not here for girl drama. I'm here to back up my favorite

niece.

Flora's been making Tara

uncomfortable, she's got noo business staying here!"

He was about to explain when the sound of footsteps on the stairs caught their attention. A woman, descending with a leisurely grace, drew their gaze. Sammuel looked up, eyes following her-

"But-" Brodie was flustered.
