CHAPTER 16- ARE YOU JEALOUS

CHAPTER 16- ARE YOU JEALOUS

Ryan turned around to look at the approaching girl and shoved his gun back; Bee stood at a safety

distance and waited for him to reply. Else than a wall of straight silence she got nothing. The forest was

still with nothing but the sound of breeze brushing; the girl had her head down as she felt his sharp

piercing gaze on herself. This was one of the most awkward positions one could be in, when you

screwed up and the other person is staring at you.

The man finally made a move, taking his eyes off her he walked up to the table and took a bottle in his

hand. Twisting open the cap he started taking small sips of the content in it. Bee waited a bit more for

him to tell her his purpose of summoning her but nothing happened.

Giving up Bee spoke again, "Mr. Neguyen, what did you call me for?" The man stopped what he was

doing and spoke, "I asked you to call me Ryan." Bee touched her chin and asked, "You called me to tell

me to call you Ryan?" "No..." The man replied immediately and sat down on the chair.

He was in a especially bad mood but his face was made in a way that he looked calm and composed

all the time, he would even adorn this ice carved face of his even if he was beating up someone to

pulp. He asked, "You and Jack seem pretty close!" Bee scratched her head and giggled, "I know right,

he is a friend of mine. He bought me clothes."

"I bought those, he simply delivered them to you." The man sneered viciously.

The girl nodded, "No no... Jack told me! You only have him money, he chose dresses for me. You are

stealing his credits." Ryan could only glare at her out of annoyance, how badly he wished to strangle

that spectacled guy for spilling things. He gritted his teethes, "So what, the money spent was mine and

thus the credits belong to me!"

The girl playfully giggled, "Hihi... But I like Jack more."

Absolute anger sprout out as his heart burned in envy, standing up he furiously clutched on her cheek

and forced her to look at him. "Ahh..." The girl yelped before shutting down; his handsome face were

just few inches away from hers.

"Say that line one more time in front of me." He spat irritated. He was jealous, he was extremely

jealous right now. He noticed her the moment she descended down the stairs and was approaching the

dining hall. He kept mum and waited for her to talk to him first as he had no idea how to initiate ca

conversation. But not only did she ignore him she also sat the farthest from him. From the corner of his

eyes he was watching over her, her expressions made him realize that she was upset of some sort.

Now, what could it be- he wondered. Whenever he was angry he liked to be left alone and he foolishly

believed this would work on her. Proud of his smart idea he left her stagnant, avoiding disturbing her

but things took them when she happily chatted with Jack.

Why was she smiling at him, she had a long face pulled all this time! What happened now? Is she more

happy with Jack than him?

People say that woman are more jealous but the truth was otherwise. Men too get jealous but they just

hide it well. Ryan tried to keep his cool but when the two started to go deep into their conversation he

couldn't hold himself back from scaring the two away.

She was his captive so all all of her belonged to him. It was dare for Ryan to be jealous and he felt

pitiful of himself for being envious of his own assistant. So, he simply chose to deny it by terming that

Bee was being disobedient and thus he was mad.

It was unreasonable, he knew, but he was just too tough to admit his state.

The girl flared opened her eyes and asked, "W... Why are you getting angry? I was merely stating." He

tightened his grip on her jaw making her twist in pain, "You are not allowed to like anyone. Put this thing

in your mind."

"Why can't I? Isn't it normal..." The girl naively started to explain herself but was brutally cut off by his

cold voice, "You are forbidden from liking anyone. I don't like it." RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

Bee grinned, "You don't like it or can't afford it?" The man cringed before letting go of her, "What

rubbish?" The girl held her sore jaw and spoke her mind, "Back then... During breakfast! You were not

angry, were you? You were jealous, right."

Men are born liars and would always choose denial over admition. Being exposed just like that his

anger rose up to it's height as he trembled in anger, "What the hell are you saying! I am not jealous."

The girl smiled playfully, the smell of him burning was piercing through her nose yet he was denying.

She hit his arm and replied in a hushed voice, "Ryan, you can tell me if you are jealous. Little Bee won't

tell it to anyone."

"You are really stupid, aren't you?" He hissed before taking out a stick and lighting it up before starting

to puff it. Bee furrowed her eyebrows and eyed the packet on the table before saying, "Do you know

cigarette is not good for health. Little Bee won't recommend it!"

The man shot her a careless look before taking a drag again, Bee came a bit closer and explained,

"The thing you are savouring is literally poison, it is slowly killing you."

"Why should I care?" Ryan asked staring straight ahead and continuing to puffing. He really saw no

point in living this life anyways, if cigarettes were really as dangerous as how she was making them

appear then yes, he would gladly do them more. Bee took a deep breath and said firmly, "Little Bee

cares about Ryan and thus, she won't let you smoke!"

"You care about me?"

Two vigorous nods were the answer to his question; the corner of his lips curled up as he looked at her

as if he was into challenging her, "How are you gonna stop me?"

Bee didn't say a word but worked out with action, she took the pack kept on the table and threw it away

right in front of him. The man jerked off his seat and asked, "What was that about?" "Now... You won't

be able to smoke again!" Bee replied charmingly.

"I will just get another one!"

"I will throw that away too..."

Stubborn as she was the man dropped the half burnt stick in his hands and smeared it; he sure look

irritated but secretly when she wasn't noticing his lips curled up into a smile.

She said she cared for him and for some reason he felt all of his anger melt down into ecstasy.
