Chapter 1752
Chapter 1752:
“H-Harlee, is this really okay?” Virginia, having just roughed Hazel up, now felt apprehensive, retreating slightly.
Ulises, who had been silent up to this point, finally spoke up.
“Hazel committed arson and attempted murder. Virginia, you were simply seeking justice for all the innocent villagers in Sunnydale—it’s justified!” He then turned to Harlee with a concerned look.
“Harlee, can we really bring the Wallace family down this time? I’ve heard the authorities found little conclusive evidence at the scene. Can they still be convicted without it?”noveldrama
“Who said there’s no evidence?” Harlee gave him a meaningful look and smirked.
“Don’t worry, everything’s under control.”
Her late-night efforts had successfully unearthed compelling evidence against the Wallace family.
The afternoon was bright and sunny, following a midday shower that left the sky a vivid blue.
Harlee had organized the reconstruction efforts in Sunnydale, left Thiago in Winbrough to manage the operations, and returned to the hotel to pack.
Having spent a week in Winbrough, Harlee noted that Felix barely recognized her during their video calls anymore. She needed to return home quickly.
Upon reaching the airport lobby, Harlee and Robbie were met by Rhys and Patrick, who had just arrived.
“Missing that little rascal Felix?” Rhys teased as he approached.

“Yeah, it’s been tough. Even though I’ve been away longer before, Felix is more aware now. It breaks my heart to see him less enthusiastic about our video chats. I just want to fly home,” Harlee confessed openly.
“Me too,” Rhys admitted. Although he often joked that Felix was monopolizing his wife’s attention, he genuinely missed his son after such a long absence.
Once they landed, Harlee instructed Robbie and the others to head back to Remson Manor, while she and Rhys made their way to the Sanderson family home.
“Fel, I missed you so much! Did you miss me?” Harlee exclaimed as she scooped up Felix, who was crawling on the floor.
Initially bewildered, Felix’s confusion soon turned to joy after a bit of playful teasing from Harlee and Rhys.
“Mom…”
Felix murmured, reaching out his little hands and capturing the air with a soft and endearing voice.
Lonnie stood aside, shaking his head and sighing.
“After the baby’s arrival, my girl revolves around the baby, ignoring me. I feel a bit left out…”
Harlee quickly reached out, putting her arm around his shoulder.
“Of course, I miss my father too!”
“That’s more like it!” Lonnie said, his mood visibly brightening.
From behind them, Skyla approached with a smile, her eyes twinkling.
“Dinner’s ready. Lee, I’ve prepared many of your favorite dishes.”
She then turned to Rhys, her expression softening.
“You seem to have lost some weight. Stay home these next few days, and I’ll feed you some healthy food.”
Since entering the house, Rhys had finally received some attention. Skyla had always been so kind to him. He smiled warmly.
“Thank you, Skyla.”
At the dinner table, Skyla was attentive, frequently adding more to the young couple’s plates. Midway through, Lonnie, unable to hide his envy, pushed his plate toward Skyla. His actions spoke louder than words.
“Are you really jealous of the kids? Aren’t you embarrassed?” Skyla teased, yet she generously filled his plate.
Laughter soon filled the room, enhancing the meal’s joyous atmosphere.
