Chapter 43 The End
Chapter 43 The End
Although they did not know who called the police, they were saved. Spencer felt relieve to see Aleena
was unscathed, reached out and touched her face. “It is good that you're all right.”
Aleena took his hand. “You really scared me to death...”
“You scared the hell out of me!” Spencer said, “You send me a text message like that, and said it was
for Travis. What are you carrying in your head? Is there something you can't tell me? I can help you!
You rashly rushed toward him...” Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
Aleena said in an apologetic manner, “I'm sorry, I was anxious. I did not think of......”
“Don't do that again.” Travis sighed. He held back his temper. “Rosalie and Travis...”
“Travis is still in hospital, Rosalie...... She is in police custody.” Aleena looked at Spencer with anxiety.
“What do you want?”
“Don't worry, I won't do anything. It's enough that she gets the punishment she deserves.” Spencer
knew that her heart was soft, so he could only comfort her in this way.
Sure enough, Aleena nodded with agreement.
What a fool.
The warmth of Spencer's eyes was faintly replaced by a trace of cold.
Rosalie...
It was no fault of him that she did it first.
If she was left behind, it would only cause more trouble.
He had Aleena now and could not take such risks, nor could he relent any longer.
...
Day by day, Spencer recovered and Aleena’s belly was becoming bigger and bigger.
Aleena had again asked about Rosalie, but Travis only said that she was sentenced to prison, so she
did not ask again.
But what she did not know was, Spencer did not let go of Rosalie but gave her the most terrible
punishment. He kept her alone in an isolated island, perhaps she would spend her whole life there.
She had not seen Daphne for a long time. She asked a lot of people but no one knew where she was.
Spencer told her Daphne traveled around the world alone.
But Spencer did not tell her that he had found out Daphne’s collusion with Rosalie. Plus her false
accusation and darkening to Aleena, he was absolutely impossible to let go of her, her end was worse
than Rosalie’s.
Daphne was sold to Africa, her fate could be imagined.
And Spencer did not want Aleena to know about it.
He just wanted her to be happy, not to think about anything. He wanted her to see the world was still
beautiful.
He visited Travis when Aleena was not around.
To some extent, he admired Travis who sacrificed for love to such a degree.
“I admire you, but now you can't protect her.” Spencer said straight to Travis, who was lying in hospital
bed. “I think you can see the difference between you and me in every way.”
“I know.” Travis only smiled wryly, “From the moment I could do nothing, I knew I was not worthy of her,
and now I am too weak. But one day I will grow up, and I shall be more worthy of her than you are.”
“Your family has been waiting for you to go back and inherit it.” Spencer said lightly, “You don't have
any choice. You know, your family is in danger. You have a bigger responsibility waiting for you to take.
You should not put your whole life to a person.”
Travis lowered his eyes and could not see what he was thinking.
“That's all, and you know in your heart who's the better choice for her.” Travis said and turned to leave.
When his hand touched the door handle, Travis’s voice came from behind.
“Hey you, treat her well. If you dare to bully her, I'll come back no matter what.” Travis's voice was soft
but firm.
“That's not going to happen.” Spencer left the ward without looking back.
...
After the accident of that day, Aleena had forgiven Spencer and intently was with him.
She knew he was a man worthy of her life.
“When you have delivered the baby, let’s go on a journey.” Spencer played with her finger. “I want to be
with you all over the world.”
“What are you talking about?” Aleena pushed him, but the curved eyes betrayed her. “We are together
now.”
“How about having a wedding at every place?” Travis laughed.
“Don't, don't, you treat the wedding as a joke. No one will marry for so many times.” Aleena said.
“No matter how many times you marry, the bridegroom is me.” Spencer said with a smile.
“Yes.” Aleena could not help curling her lips, reaching out to grasp his hand, “Mr. Cook, do you want to
marry me?”
Spencer said, “Shouldn’t I say that?”
“Miss Wilson, will you marry me?”
The end.
