Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate

Chapter 97

Nathan and Tristan had been on edge for days, the anger gnawing at them with each passing hour that Ella remained missing. Their victory over Moon Lake meant nothing without her by their side. Every lead, every dead-end only fueled the fire within them, making them more volatile with each passing day.

Ryan, trailing behind them in silence, was a shell of his former self. He knew Alpha Rambo was gone-relocated to some unknown place, far beyond their reach. But the experiments he had endured had left him with a grim realization: his life now depended on one thing. Ella. Only she could reverse the damage done to him.

As the group prepared to return to the Alpha council, Sara broke through the tense quiet.

"I found the cat," she said, her voice low but clear.

Nathan and Tristan froze, eyes locking onto her.

"The witch," Sara clarified, a smirk creeping onto her face. "I found the witch. It's time to get what she owes to all of us."

The twins exchanged a glance, barely containing their fury. The witch was their only lead now, and they didn't waste time. Within hours, they had cornered her, magic and fury clashing as they chased her through the forest.

As the twins approached the witch's house, the air grew thick with an unnatural tension, a shiver crawling down their spines. The dilapidated cabin stood at the edge of the forest, its twisted branches seeming to reach out like skeletal fingers. As Nathan and Tristan stepped into the witch's dimly lit lair, the air thickened with dark magic. Shelves overflowed with ominous jars and strange herbs, flickering candles casting eerie shadows. The witch stood at the far end, a sinister smile on her lips.

“Ah, the little wolves come to play,” she crooned. “Did you really think you could breach my defenses so easily?"

Tristan stepped forward, fists clenched. "We're not here for games. We want to know where Ella is."

The witch laughed, a sound that echoed off the walls. "And why would I tell you? That little girl is just another pawn in my game."

"Enough!" Nathan snapped. "You'll tell us what we want, or we'll make you regret crossing us."

"Regret?" she mocked, flicking her wrist. A wave of energy surged toward them, crackling with dark magic. Nathan raised an arm, feeling the force collide against him like a wave. He pushed through, anger igniting his determination.

"Tristan, now!" Nathan shouted as Tristan charged, lunging at the witch.

But she vanished, reappearing behind him. "Did you really think I wouldn't see that coming?" she taunted.

Tristan spun around, eyes blazing. "We've faced worse than you!"

"Is that so?" The witch snapped her fingers, rattling jars that released a torrent of

glass shards spiraling toward them like deadly arrows.

Nathan leaped forward, grabbing Tristan's arm. "Out of the way!"

"Let's work together!" Tristan yelled.

"Don't underestimate me!" the witch hissed. "I've seen your kind fall before!"

Nathan spotted a heavy chain on the wall, glimmering with magic. "I'll need a moment!"

"Do it!" Tristan roared, charging at the witch. "Face me!"

"Coward?" she repeated, a sneer twisting her face. "You have no idea what fear is! Let me show you!"

With a flick of her wrist, shadows lashed out at Tristan, wrapping around him like a serpent. He grunted, struggling against the energy.

"Tristan!" Nathan shouted, heart racing as he rushed toward the chain.

"Focus on breaking the magic!" Tristan yelled. “I'll hold her off!”

Nathan seized the chain and swung it toward the witch, who was distracted by Tristan's struggle. The chain glowed with silvery light, cutting through her dark energy.

"Your tricks won't work on me!" she shrieked.

"Try this!" Nathan shouted, launching the chain at her.

The witch gasped as the chain wrapped around her, binding her powers. "No! This can't be!"

Tristan broke free, panting heavily. "Now, tell us where Ella is," he demanded.

The witch's fury flickered to desperation. "Fine! She's at the bunker-where Rambo took her!"

Nathan's heart raced. "You'll lead us to her."

"Or what?" she spat.

"Or you'll wish you hadn't crossed us," Tristan warned.

With a reluctant nod, the witch surrendered, knowing she had lost. The twins exchanged determined glances, ready to save Ella and ensure this witch never threatened anyone again.

"Guys calm down. We will get her, And once I have that jerk Alpha, I will tell him

what cruelty really is." Sara snarled and then looked at Ryan.

"No offense meant," She said.

"Non taken," he replied softly.

"He doesn't have to. We are going to kill Rambo," Nathan snarled.

As they raced through the mountains, the bunker finally came into view, an ominous, decaying structure hidden beneath layers of vines and dirt. They didn't hesitate. Pushing through the rusted doors, the scent of mold and decay hit them, but something else pierced through it-a familiar aroma that made their hearts pound in unison.

"Ella," Nathan breathed, his voice trembling with emotion.

Tristan nodded, eyes narrowed. "She's close."

They sprinted through the narrow corridors of the bunker, their senses sharpening with every step. The scent of Ella grew stronger, but it was tainted-fear, desperation. Then

they heard it-a faint, sed

gasp.

"Ella!" Nathan roared, pushing forward, his chest tight with dread.

They turned a corner and froze at the sight before them.

In the center of the hallway stood Alpha Rambo, towering and cruel, his massive hands wrapped around Ella's throat. She hung limp in his grip, her once vibrant skin now ashen, her eyes barely open.

"What a legend," Alpha Rambo's laughter was echoing in the darkness.

"No," Nathan whispered, the word torn from him as if it were his last breath.

Tristan's eyes blazed with fury. "Let her go!"

Rambo glanced at them, his mouth curling into a sickening smile. "So, you finally found me,” he sneered, his grip tightening around Ella's throat. She gasped, a pitiful sound, her body twitching in his grasp.

Nathan's heart shattered at the sound. "Put her down, now!" His voice was raw, filled with desperation.

His eyes were fixated on Ella, who was looking half dead.

Maybe they were late.
